Jeleni Dvur Hotel - Prag

The location was great as it was close to the tram and within walking distance of many sites. The rooms are small, but typical for a European hotel. The hallway lights are motion activated which left you in the dark for a bit.

The Jeleni Dvur looked like a nice hotel when we made the reservation. The location was actually quite good because it was close to the tram line, Prague Castle and the Strahov Monastery. Despite the tram being right outside, it was relatively quiet. But in other ways, it was a big disappointment. All the hallway lights were set on times and, if you […] didn't move right or the elevator didn't come right away, you were left in the dark. The first thing you see in the welcome information in the room is a list of charges for things you might break, accidently damage, etc. It was a list of about 40 items that really made you wonder if they were just going to look for something to charge you for. I noticed several bleach spots on the green carpeting so thought I should make note of it to the front desk, but they seemed quite unconcerned. Later it was disappointing to see holes in both the sheets and towels in our room. Since the hotel is part of a chain (with the chain name on the towels) we kind of wondered if this hotel just got all the rag tag stuff not good enough for other places. It was disappointing nonetheless. We also did wonder a bit about security in the neighborhood, since you had to ring a bell to get in the outside door and there really weren't any other building entrances around. We also asked if we could get ice one night, but were told it wasn't available because the kitchen was only open for breakfast. That had been true at the other hotel we stayed at, but they were able to get ice for us regardless. We also found the plastic mattress pad on the bed uncomfortable, although the bed itself wasn't bad. All in all, it seemed like a hotel just waiting for guests to misbehave or something bad to happen. Mehr

The hotel is nice and clean, with a beautiful view of the Castle and Loretta Church. The staff is pleasant. The tram stops in front of the hotel, the ride takes 10 minutes to the center of Prague.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved our stay. The staff spoke great English and were very helpful with all our questions about the city. The Tram stops right in front of the hotel. I think the rate was very good because it is technically just outside of all the action, but when I say just outside, I mean just outside. It is a 5 minute walk to Prague […] castle and 10 minutes to Charles bridge. Something to consider- it was cold so we walked fast. :) The hotel has red carpeted spiraling staircases, if you don't want to use the elevator. Very romantic. Our room even had a view of the castle, though I know that not all rooms did. the beds were comfortable. The soap they provide comes in a bulk dispenser, for the sink and the shower. I believe it is for hair and body. It worked great for washing my body and hair, but I was so glad to have brought my own conditioner. They don't provide that. Mehr

Overall this is a great hotel. It is in a very convenient location, and tram 22 stops right at the front of the hotel. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was very good, and quite extensive. The only con was that there is no shower, just a tub with a handheld and no curtain. But the tile floors […] were heated, so that was a nice perk. A little noisy with the tram and traffic right outside, but nothing that should keep someone awake. I would stay here again for the price, location, and staff. Mehr

Toppen hotell för en affärsresa!

Отель расположен далековато от центра, в принципе для людей кто не любит шум, гам, этот отель понравится. Убирались в номере плохо, пыль на прикроватных тумбочках напоминала о себе все 8 дней нашего прибытия. Завтраки однотипные. Для 3 звезд нормально.

La habitación era espaciosa pero todos los días encontraba arañas de tamaño considerable, aunque eliminara las del día anterior. Cuando llovía olía a cloaca y había una bola de cabello de mujer detrás de la papelera del lavabo. El hotel se sitúa cerca del Castillo pero lejos del resto de atracciones turísticas y en lo alto de una montaña, por lo que […] cada día tenías que acabar subiendo una cuesta considerable para volver. Además la zona es un poco solitaria para pasear después de la puesta de sol. Mehr

Hotel charmant sur une colline trés verte. Les chambres situées coté parc sont agréables. Grand parking;, arrêt tram devant l'établissement, personnel serviable, buffet petit déjeuner complet. Je retournerai dans cet établissement calme avec des chambres confortables, dans un cadre de verdure.

We stayd at the Jeleni Dvur Hotel for 5 nights. The location is quite nice. You can take the tram outside and you'll be in town in about 10 minutes. The castle is almost next to the hotel. The breakfast could be better. And the loud construction outside made our stay (especially the early mornings) a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise very nice hotel and […] friendly staff. Mehr

Hotellet ligger i gåafstand til Hradcany eller nærmest i udkanten af den. Udsigt til Petrin parken og man kan svagt høre Loretta klokkespilet. Vores vinduer vendte bort fra gaden så der var ingen gadestøj. Hotellet ligger lige ved stoppested af sporvogn nr.22 Pæn, ren badeværelse men en håndbruser vil være en god ting.
