Wir hatten 2 wunderbare Nächte, zu Fuß konnte man einige der besten Restaurants erreichen.

Die Internetnutzung sollte 15 USD täglich kosten. Das halte ich für unverschämt, weil man in Argentinien sonst überall kostenloses WIFI vorfindet.

Wenn man über manche Unzulänglichkeit hinweg sieht, dann ist dieses Hotel durchaus akzeptabel. Das Frühstück (kostenlos !) ist für den deutschen Geschmack sehr einseitig. Jeden Tag den gleichen Schinken und den gleichen Käse (jeweils nur 1 Sorte), süßer Brotaufstrich, dazu süße Stücke und lappriges Toastbrot kann man nicht lange aushalten. Dafür gibt es mehrere Sorten Saft und Obst. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet (7 - 10 Uhr) ist nach 9 Uhr sehr lückenhaft und wird nur zögerlich aufgefüllt. An einigen abgestossenen Fliesen im Bad und schlecht schließenden Badezimmer- und Balkontüren darf man sich nicht stören. Positiv ist, dass man sich im Zimmer auf dem Gaskocher warme Getränke zubereiten kann. Kaffee- und Teebeutel liegen kostenlos bereit. Die Zimmer sind überraschend geräumig. Zimmer nach hinten sind ohne Balkon, dafür ruhig. Zimmer zur Strassenseite mit Balkon, aber laut. Wir hatten bei 2 Aufenthalten jeweils ein Zimmer im 7. Stock. Obwohl das Hotel in einer Nebenstrasse liegt, herrscht dort reger Verkehr und es ist entsprechend laut. Lage ist super. Nur ein Block vom Obelisk entfernt, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Preis ist m. E. akzeptabel. Leute, die großen Komfort erwarten, sollten das Hotel nicht wählen. Für alle anderen halte ich es für empfehlenswert.

725 Continental befindet sich mitten in Buenos Aires und liegt in Flughafennähe. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt befinden sich: Catedral Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, Banco de la Nación Argentina und Plaza de Mayo.

Die Betten in den Zimmern haben Pillowtop-Matratzen und hochwertige Bettwäsche. Ein Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) steht Ihnen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Neben einem 27-Zoll-Plasmafernseher mit Premium-Kabel-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: Videorekorder und Pay-TV. Zur Zimmerausstattung gehören außerdem: Schreibtische, kostenlose Zeitungen sowie Telefone mit mehreren Leitungen und Voicemail. Bedeutende Sehenswürdigkeiten umgeben den Plaza Mayo, darunter auch der Präsidentenpalast Casa Rosada, die Kathedrale Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, das Rathaus und schließlich das Finanzviertel. In den Straßen Calle Florida und Avenida Corrientes kommt die Stadt niemals zur Ruhe. Mit ihren zahlreichen Theatern steht die Avenida Corrientes dem Broadway in New York oder dem Strand in London in nichts nach. In den nahe gelegenen ehemaligen Lagerhäusern am Ufer von Puerto Madero sind jetzt Apartments und Büros untergebracht.

"Good Enough"
I like the modern interior though I was hoping for the old French-inspired designs that they have on their ad. Overall, the staff is friendly and accommodating except for one who after I told him the brochure said each room has an individually controlled air-conditioning system and mine was broken tried to just ignore my complaint and said the A.C. […] for the "whole hotel" was broken. The evening/night staff was more understanding and promptly transferred me to another room. The hotel is close to this walkway of stores/shops/malls that spans many blocks. The Casa Rosada where Eva Peron gave her famous speech from the balcony was alsowithin walking distance. Mehr
"Great hotel in central Buenos Aires"
This is a great hotel overall was a great value for what I spent. It is located on Diagonal Norte, one of the main boulevards of the city in a beautiful old building, and in easy walking distance (a few minutes) to Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin, the Obelisco, Florida Street, San Telmo and the theatre district. Palermo and Recoleta can be reached by […] taxi in 10 or 15 minutes depending on traffic. Lots of drugstores, convenience stores and Carrefour grocery store nearby. A good wine merchant is located on the ground floor. The service is friendly and helpful. The front desk and restaurant staff are generally fluent in English. All my interactions with the front desk were efficient. My room came with the free breakfast at Centrino (the restaurant on the second floor), which I liked and took advantage of every day. It is basically a full continental breakfast (ham, cheese, fruit, breads, pastries, plus cereal, yogurt and a station to order eggs and omelets). The restaurants around the area tend to be closed on Sundays and national holidays (which Argentines seem to celebrate nearly every week), so it was good to have the hotel's breakfast available as my first meal of the day. The ground floor restaurant and bar has a quiet atmosphere with a trendy vibe. The food is well-prepared and reasonably priced, but the waitstaff (although very friendly) seem to get a little overwhelmed when the restaurant has more than two or three tables filled. It wasn't a big problem - once you place your order, everything comes out quickly. The hotel has a decent gym, an indoor-outdoor bar/lounge area, and an outdoor pool, all on the top floor. The roof provides a nice 360 degree view of the city. The pool area is comfortable and gets lots of sunlight. The indoor part of the rooftop sometimes smelled of sewage, maybe because of a leak? "An AWESOME Hotel EXPERIENCE..! ! !"
I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks, and it was a great experience. Love the installations, and the SWIMMING pool at the terrace on the roof, it was great. Personnel was well educated and service was good. Breakfast not that great, but for starting your day, it was more than enough. 100% Recommended.

We arrived and were greeted from a welcoming staff that checked us in promptly and timely and could speak english. Our room was wonderful, and good size with all the amenities that would be expected from this caliber hotel. "Free Breakfast & Great Pool"
Not many hotels in downtown BA have pools. The rooftop pool was perfect... Breakfast was to die for. American hotels never include free complete breakfast, and this had so many tasty options. I'd recommend the hotel for the quality of breakfast alone.

I have stayed in dozens of 3 and 4 stars hotels in Buenos Aires for the past 20 years and the Continental is one of the best overall. The price I paid through Hotels.com is unbeatable.

Fomos muito bem recebidos e tudo correu muito bem. De fato, não é um hotel 5 estrelas, esta mais para 4. Mas, considerando o preço que pagamos, o saldo final foi bem positivo. Apenas ressalto que o ar condicionado não é muito forte (estava bastante calor) e o sinal de internet também não é 100%, ele falha bastante. Como fomos a passeio não nos afetou […] tanto, mas se vai a trabalho é algo a se considerar. Mehr

El hotel esta bien, me encontré con dos problemas, había reservado con desayuno incluido y ellos decían que no era así no me lo dieron y la pileta y el solárium estaba cerrado y esto no estaba informado.

O hotel fica entre o Obelisco e a Casa Rosada e muito próximo da Rua Florida e do ponto de partida do BA Bus. Ficamos no 401 que tem um bom isolamento acústico para a rua, mas não para o corredor e para os elevadores. Se seu sono é leve não fique neste quarto, pois passará toda a noite ouvindo o sinalzinho do elevador. A internet sem fio é gratuita, […] mas a conexão trava com frequência. O café da manhã é bom e bem servido. Tem opção de restaurante e também de bar, ambos de boa qualidade. Mehr

Localização muito boa, perto da Rua Florida e Casa Rosada, hotel moderno, com ótimo serviço, café da manhã bom mas não espetacular, funcionários bem preparados e atenciosos. Quarto de bom tamanho e confortável. De forma geral excelente - único inconveniente são os arredores, por ser região central especialmente no final de semana fica um pouco parado […] a noite. "Moderno, mas barulhento e nao cheira bem"
Hotel remodelado, bem conservado e limpo, com bons quartos (fiquei na suite 725), boa localização e equipe atenciosa e muito solícita. Por outro lado... O isolamento acústico é muito ruim, ouve-se o ruído do tráfego da avenida em frente, bem como conversas e discussões nos outros quartos (acompanhei uma discussão de um casal em detalhes, palavrão por […] palavrão). Além disso, o ar condicionado tráz odores de fora do quarto para dentro, fui acordado em mais de uma manhã com odor forte de cigarro no quarto (avisos deixavam claro que não se poderia fumar no hotel), essa parte foi deplorável. Recomendo. Mas não acho que seja um padrão luxury na cidade (caro, para as falhas que oferece). Mehr

"Hotell i Sentrum"
Hotellet ligger i sentrum av Buenos Aires. Rommet er ikke helt rent og frokosten svarer ikke til forventningene.

El Hotel es aceptable en cuanto a comodidad y limpieza. El desayuno esta muy bien, variado en productos y abundante, quedamos muy satisfechos con este aspecto. Lo malo es el gimnasio, muy chico y con pocas maquinas; si ya hay 2 personas entrenando, con una tercera se hace realmente incomodo, o sea, realmente muy chico!!! El hotel esta emplazado en un […] sector del microcentro de Buenos Aires muy poco concurrido, por ser un sector financiero. Lo malo de esto es que en las noches es un poco peligroso caminar! Por lo tanto, buen hotel para viajeros de negocios, pero aburrido para turistas que necesiten estar mas cerca de lugares de entretencion y mas concurridos. Mehr

Simplesmente perfeito, o hotel é ótimo e a sua localização melhor ainda, recomendo pelo menos o quarto 725, muito melhor que o quarto executivo, especialmente pelo isolamento termo-acústico.

"Hotel muito bom."
O pessoal do hotel é muito prestativo, o hotel é muito limpo, o café da manhã é otimo, a unica reclamação que tenho é o custo muito alto de uma garrafinha de agua no quarto e pedimos um prato e talheres no quarto a taxa era bem cara.

Recomendo o hotel a todos. Acomodações novas e modernas, tudo muito limpo, excelente atendimento. Fica no centro da cidade, perto do Obelisco, Casa Rosada, Porto Madero e Café Tortoni. Quando voltar a Buenos Aires, me hospedo novamente nele.
