Hotel liegt sehr zentral, viele Sehenswèrdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar,keine 10 min zum wunderschönen Michigansee. Liegt aber leider an zwei sehr stark befahrenen Strassen

Das Four Points erfreut sich einer sehr zentralen Lage im Herzen Chicagos, wenige Gehminuten von der Magnificent Mile (des berühmtesten Shopping Districts) der Stadt entfernt und mit hervorragender Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind problemlos zu Fuß, mit der S-Bahn oder Bussen erreichbar, im unmittelbaren Umfeld […] gibt es zahlreiche Geschäfte zur Selbstversorgung und vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen warten zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants mit vielfältigen Angeboten auf (besonders empfehlenswert ist das Frühstück im e.leven das direkt aus der Hotellobby zugänglich ist). Die Hotelzimmer haben wir als gut ausgestattet und sauber empfunden, hier gab es zu keinem Zeitpunkt Beanstandungen und der gute und schnelle Service wurde zum Beispiel an einer kleine Reparatur (Glühbirne defekt) deutlich die in Minuten aufgenommen und erledigt wurde. Von einem sehr unangenehmen Moment mit einem der "Kofferträger" abgesehen (der uns bei der Abreise mit dem Taxi beschimpfte weil ihm das Trinkgeld nicht reichte... 5 $ obwohl ich die Koffer selbst aufladen und ins Taxi tragen musste) kann ich auch hier gute Noten vergeben. Ein großes Manko - das auch dafür ausschlaggebend ist warum wir dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen würden - ist jedoch der Lärm. Die unmittelbare Umgebung des Hotels scheint ein beliebter Standort für Straßenrennen zu sein und das Gedröhne der Motoren und der quietschenden Reifen hat uns mehrfach den Schlaf bis in die frühen Morgenstunden geraubt. Wenn dann auch noch halbwüchsige College Studenten auf dem Flur pöbeln und die Security erst nach Stunden eingreift, sinkt die Laune doch ganz gewaltig. Wer also nicht mit Ohrenstopfen schlafen kann oder mit kleinen Kindern reist (so wie wir), sollte sich nach einem ruhigeren Hotel umsehen. Mehr

We were very appreciative that they changed our Hotel Reservation to one week later due to the weather. We had a funeral to attend and it was postponed to the previous week. We loved the location and the rooms were very nice. We will be back.

My husband and I love to stay here when we head downtown. Great location, accommodations and people keep us coming back!

Four Points is a great hotel witha fabulous location! My friends and I stay there every December for our "Chicago Shopping Weekend" - perfect spot in the middle of the Magnificent Mile!

The Four Points is by far our favorite Chicago Hotel. My wife and I stay there approx. 4-5 times per year and have always found the experience most gratifying. The central location, the staff and the overall quality of the rooms are all excellent. We have, and will continue to recommend the Four Points to our friends. You won't be disappointed! This was the perfect choice for our overnight in Chi-town. Walking distance to the best dining spots and all the shopping spots. Staff was friendly and t was very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will plan on staying there again.

Great location for shopping and restaurants all around. Walking distance even in winter.

Staff was excellent - very helpful -- gave good recomendations for entertainment also gave good directions.

One of Chicago's best hotel. Staff was excellent!! Room was very clean and spacious. Great location. When I checked out I was in a hurry and forgot to check the closet. When I got home to Milwaukee I realized that I had forgot my jeans in the closet. I called the hotel and within a hour they called me back and had found my jeans. Walking distance from most all attractions and shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. great having microwave and refrigerator and wireless internet in all rooms. business room easy to use for printing tickets.

Last winter my husband and I stayed at the Four Points, in Chicago. THis winter we had friends from Wisconsin come for a few days and all of us stayed at the Four Points and thoroughly enjoyed our stay(s). Keep up the good service!

Clean room, and it had a large sofa bed , has a safe in room , free wifi ,etc..

I visited downtown Chicago with my 12 year old daughter. We loved the pool. The water was set to a comfortable warm temparature. It wasn't cold at all, which I don't like. The whirlpool was really nice, too. The pool was also very clean, the water wasn't yellow, and there were no cracks or rust stains. It was very clean. We loved it.

The hotel was within walking distance of 80% of what we wanted to do.

We stayed at this hotel between the Christmas and New Year holidays. The rates were excellent at that time, and we were thrilled with the conveniences of the room. With an 8-year-old and 2 toddlers, we had certain needs. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and small freezing compartment, microwave oven, and usual conveniences. The hotel provided […] 2 cribs for the babies, and we still had plenty of room. There are laundry facilities in the hotel for guests, which helped us enormously with keeping up with flow of dirty laundry. There's a Trader Joe store just around the corner, and we were one block from Michigan Ave. All in all, we couldn't ask for more! Mehr

Our room was much larger than expected for a downtown location. The room was simple but had what I would expect from Sheraton. The bed was very comfortable, nice linens. The bathroom clean, simple with granite counter. Hotel staff friendly and professional. Will stay again.

This hotel is a great stay for the price. The location is excellent. It is about 1 block off of Michigan Ave. It is about 6 blocks away from the Hard Rock Cafe. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful.

Hotel was fine...great location to the Michigan Ave shops and walking distance to many places...workout room was small...room had a fridge, microwave and coffee which was nice if you were staying for a few days. Had the feel of a boutique hotel. Unfortunately, our room faced the street and we often heard the sounds of an ambulance or taxis.

I booked a room here so I wouldn't have to drive back to the suburbs after a holiday party. The location is excellent, just off Michigan Avenue--this would be a fine place for a tourist from out of town to stay. The room was good, there was nice product in the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The one negative (and really, I think this applies […] to just about all downtown hotels) was the $40/day parking cost. Best of all was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional and efficient. I was really surprised with just how friendly and accommodating everyone was. Mehr

Wonderful stay in a very clean hotel. All staff were helpful, polite, and friendly. The only thing I would of liked to see at this hotel would of been a lounge. I woul stay there again.

Centrally located, spacious room, pool, and wonderful staff! Great stay. I'm going to stay here whenever I'm in town. Concierge was great, doormen were kind and my kids loved it too.

Enjoyed the indoor pool for grandkids! Rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable. Rooms a little "tired" - could use some updating. They did have a coffee bar in the morning, which was great! They need to change the brand of coffee, however.

Our stay was nice. The rooms are big and comfy. Lots of little extras. Parking has in and out privileges and has plenty of close parking spaces. Restaurants and store in same building for added convenience. Shopping right around the block. Took a cab for less than $10 to many must -see sights. Was surprised that the hotel didn't have courtesy umbrellas […] (only for sale) for as nice as it is. Mehr

The Four Points by Sheraton is well-located and very convenient. Comfortable without a lots of frills, it offers a good alternative accommodation when the better hotels in the area are already booked on one's travel dates. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and may make it my primary Chicago destination!

I've always had great service at this property. While a bit pricey for a 4 points, they staff is always courteous and helpful, and the location is first rate.

Loved the location, the staff, the room...had one issue with the incidental deposit my credit card was charged for the entire room amount even though it was pre-paid but the manager comp'd me for breakfast for me and my guest. I am planning on staying there again... very pleasant experience.

This hotel was reasonably priced and perfectly located for the activities I wanted to do. The parking situation is grim downtown and having a check out time at noon but being able to park until 6pm was terrific. It allowed my family and I to do the last minute site seeing that we desired. Would definitely stay here again. All the staff were very helpful […] and polite. Thank you for making our stay in Chicago such a delight. Mehr

It is on great location.

I'm puzzled by the positive reviews and wonder whether there's been a management change since those were written. The quality of the room was nice, particularly the bed, which seemed like a premium mattress. The woman who checked us in gave us a better room, which was greatly appreciated, but then the service took a nosedive. We were missing some toiletries […] and when we tried to reach housekeeping, we could only leave a voicemail message. The man at the front desk was surly in response to our request. We were scolded for calling a second time (trying to offer to come down and get it) when there was no response to our first request. No greetings from the front desk staff even with no one else in the lobby. We figured this must just be how Chicagoans are until we moved to the Hotel Knickerbocker and they were very warm, very concerned about guest comfort. I selected this hotel and was embarrassed and disappointed with how it turned out. Mehr

Very convenient location and reasonable rate for downtown Chicago. No restaurant or bar in the hotel but there are plenty of places to eat & drink in the area. There is a pool & workout area however! Very comfortable room and a great bed!
