We had a great time. The staff was so wonderful most of all the Mary, the beautiful kind charming older lady that checked me in. She was top notch. Overall, the resort was nice for the money. Tone down the clorox - I mean clorine in the indoors pool.

I would defiantly stay there again. Very conveniant

My only complaint was that the bed was uncomfortable in my room. Overall, I was happy with my stay and the location on the beach is great.

This hotel has an awesome location, awesome view, and very nice outside pool. The room was so-so, but for the rate we had, it was good enough. The hotel is somewhat run down.

we have been coming to Myrtle Beach for the past 5+ years and have stayed at several hotels for about 2 weeks at a time, we travel with 2 other couples, this stay at Sand Castle was great right from the start, check in was very friendly, hotel was very clean and cleaned everyday, pools/hot tubs cleaned every morning, the maintance crew very friendly […] and helpful if you needed questions answered. Our room was cleaned everyday with very friendly ladies. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends that will be going to MB in the spring/summer season. It was the first time my boyfriend and I have vacationed together. For the price it was a great hotel. The pools were very clean, and the view was amazing! We had a lot of fun just hanging out on out balcony before bed every night.

Came here for relaxing getaway, was very satisfied. I would stay here for a month, room had nice kitchenette. Great beach view and access, nice pools. Quiet guests. A little far away from the Broadway activities, but that's not what I wanted. Helpful staff. Comfortable beds. TV didn't have many stations, no HBO or MSNBC but Wifi worked well.

The hotel service was good. Front desk was very informative, as well as friendly. However, it was somewhat of a disappointment that my boyfriend (21) and I (18) were almost not aloud to check in because of my age. Thankkfully, the guy understood that my boyfriend and I had driven 11 hours to get to the hotel so he let us in. The website said nothing […] of any age limitations. We also had to put down a deposit on the room. The beach area was superb! Shame the lazy river was blocked off most of the time. Great place to try and relax! Has a lounge, 2 hot tubs, 2 swimming pools and 1 kiddie pool, all superb as well, very, very clean! Granite, the boardwalk is a couple miles up the beach, but the walk was very beautiful, considering we walked on the beach to the boardwalk. Walking by the street view is just as pleasant, especially when the car show is in town! Enjoy your hotel where ever you choose to stay! Mehr

The employees in the lobby, the bar, and maintenance were exceptional! I loved the room and the view. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. My only complaint is that they were blowing off the decks and painting around the pool/hot tubs so it was loud and not very relaxing. Made me feel like I needed to leave. It is also pretty far from the strip […] which could be a good or bad thing. Would stay at again! Mehr

I definitely would and will recommend this hotel. The room was nice, but the view was absolutely exquisite. The size of the room was nice, especially with the kitchen admenities. I am just sorry I only stayed one night.

Very happy with SandCastle South. Got an beach front efficiency on the third floor that more than met our needs. Great location and the value was excellent.

it was very fair priced nothing really wrong just not exciting either

Beginning with a smooth check-in, a super nice lady checked us in and encouraged us to have a great visit. The beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean, maid service was prompt, efficient, and very friendly. The indoor heated pool was perfectly heated for cool February days. The elevators are clean and super fast. What a surprise it was to have […] a fast evelator at a hotel. The same lady at the front desk checked us out, thanked us for staying and told us to have a safe trip home. Very hospitable. We'll definitely stay again. Mehr

everything was great views awesome but we had dirty sheet on our bed everything else was amazing but not fun to check in late and wake up and there lint and someone else's hair in bed with you!!

Major repairs needed for this resort! Mold, paint chipping, windows filthy, light bulbs out, dirty rugs in rooms, housekeeping not cleaning rooms good at all,inside pool was dirty along with hot tubs dirty and in need of painting. Food offered for breakfast was from a can or instant tasting and NOT worth the price. Nothing fresh to eat. Over all not […] worth the money being asked for our stay at Sandcastle Resorts. Mehr

Nice little hotel. My wife and I have stayed here for the past 5 years. Perfect for a quick getaway. Had some unpleasant guests beside/above us this past trip. Hotel staff was very accomodating and promptly switched our room for us. I only wish they had a workout area.

i enjoy every minute of my stay at this hotel

The hotel was nice and afordable. The location was in a good and had wonderful view of the beach. I would recommending this hotel. My husband and I had a nice time!!

Great hotel!!!!!

This hotel had remarkably beautiful views of the ocean. It was walking distance from Damons on the Beach. I very much enjoyed my stay. The only draw back was that there were lots of Palmetto Bugs crawling around the outside pool and hot tub.They didnt bother you but its gross to see that many when you are sitting and relaxing.

Just stayed there this past weekend. The people were nice. The room was nice. Nice having a fridge, stove and microwave in the room. Didn't get a chance to use the pools this time...hopefully next time!

Was there to walk in the Waccamaw Heart with with sister, niece and nephew. The room was comfy and view great. Staff was polite. I stay there again.

Very pleasent stay. Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Carpet was very clean, and dry. Elevators (3) were very fast. Parking spaces could have been larger tho. I would reccomend anyone to stay here.

We spent the night in a great room with a wonderful ocean view listening to the waves roll in. Take advantage of the off season rates!

Pleasant room. Fantastic view of ocean and access to walk on the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and lazy river. Folks looked like they were having fun even on this cool weekend. Convenient free parking. I'll stay there again!

My stay was great.. but my bedspread had holes in it glad I brought a backup blanket .. but other than that very nice place and friendly customer service

Excellent place! Beautiful view,comfortable beds, nice pool areas, good breakfast buffet (but too many things, like toast cost extra), easy parking. The house maid was a bit lazy. Never vacuumed, & didn't leave tissues, toilet paper, or coffee & creamers, we had to call for them. GREAT STAY! and a fantastic rate!!!
