Das Hotel ist etwas verwinkelt abseits gelegen und zum Essen muss man fahren. Rundrum ist nur eine Kegelbahn. Außerdem liegt es an einer wenig befahenenen aber trotzdem sehr lauten Straße. The staff was great, facility was very clean, breakfast was awesome.

We were pleased with all aspects of the hotel especially with an excellent breakfast, friendly service and a clean room. The swimming pool could have been much deeper for adults but made up for it with a nice large hot tub.

My husband had classes at UW Madision...so I decided to tag along with the kids. This hotel MADE our trip...or at least the kids trip. Super convenient for families...close to Target and quick eats. Microwave and fridge in the room for snacks and best of all...a not-too-deep pool, and splash pad with waterslide. We swam all day, snacked on the warm […] cookies provided in the lobby and took advantage of the next door (walking distance) bowling alley. And did I mention breakfast? Not having to worry about what to feed the gang was vacation enough...everyone got to choose what they wanted and fueled up for swimming. The staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly, it had a great breakfast and a wonderful pool area with a huge hot tub.

Room was ok,cobweb on the ceiling. Breakfast was just ok. No one around to refill items that were out. Pleasant check in staff.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. It was located close to places to eat and a Target. We will stay there again.

Great all around, great hotel, great room (bed was a little firm for our liking), great hot breakfast buffet, great pool/hot tub/work out areas, just great!

That was the most comfortable bed and pillow I have ever slept on! The only negative was the noise from the highway.

The room had a very musty smell, the TV and remote would not work, I had to unplug the TV, wait so long, turn it back on, etc.

Our room was very comfortable. The pool area was outstanding. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, including eggs with salsa as a side. The Military Ridge bicycle trail is only a block away and can be reached via an on-street bike lane. We did have to keep our bikes in the room however, as there was no storage room available.

We were very happy with the hotel over this past Labor Day Weekend. The hotel was in great condition and the employees were all very nice; the pool area was a fun place for the kids and the food was pretty good too! We will definitely be going back there!!

The hotel room was fine but the pool area needed maintnence. The water fountain did not work and the shower handel in the mens bathroom was broken. It was also somewhat difficult to find since the hotel sign is by the main highway and not on the access road that you need to use to get to the hotel.

The check in woman Christa was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The nicest check-in person I ever met. We had a problem with ventilation and they upgraded our room at no additional charge to us very acccomodating. Would certainly recommend this hotel!

We had a great stay at Country Inn and Suites. They were very helpful in making things work for our large group. The water area was great for our young children. The woman from the front desk went out of her way to assist us with any request.

Hotel had very comfortable beds. The breakfast was okay...pancakes had been sitting there a while and were a bit crusty on the edges. Would recommend making the waffle instead. Other than that, we had a good experience.

Pros: Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet, breakfast hot food was good, close to a short walking path along park area and within walking distance to Target. Cons: workout room was right next to noisy game room, hotel isn't close to much in Madison, pool was closed during our visit. This hotel was extremely nice. It ruined me for the rest of the hotels I stayed in for the remainder of my trip. The kids had their own bedroom with a widescreen TV. The beds were very comfortable. The children's play area in the pool was a great way for the kids to unwind after being on the road all day. The breakfast the next morning was great. This hotel was great. Not one drawback.... and it was priced well.

Family of three in king suite,roomy,comfortable good breakfast and child enjoyed pool.Had enough space to keep bikes in room.Nice central location easy access to highway,close to bike trails and tourist towns ie.Mt Horeb,New Glarus,Madison. Area was quite.Staff was helpfull and nice.

With a cute little water park in the pool area, this a great place to stay if you're visiting young grandchildren. Free breakfast area is spacious. Good variety of breakfast foods. Staff was very responsive. Price was good thru Hotels.com

Great staff and free fresh-baked cookies. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was great, right next to Quivey's Grove.

I woke up feeling so refreshed and well-rested after staying here. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. So much so, I wanted to somehow get it out of the room and take it home so I could have it forever. I would definitely stay here again.

We thought the room was really nice - two big rooms! The complimentary breakfast was great - more items than I expected. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect hotel for our family of four. Kids under 12 will love the pool area. My kids didn't even want to leave the hotel. It is very close to downtown Madison. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast is okay for a free breakfast. I would strongly reccomend this hotel if you have small children. If you have teens or are a couple […] without kids, then I would reccomend going to another hotel. Pool is very loud and filled with kids, not very romantic for a couple without kids. Mehr

Great internet price. Pool was great for the kids. Room conditions were very good.

Stayed just one night. Kids loved the pool. Good variety for a continetal breakfast. Comfort of beds were ok - but this is a hotel and nothing is like your bed at home. New TVs in room. Included microwave and fridge is great for water bottles or making popcorn. My daughter and I chose this hotel for the convenience and amenities. It delivered in all areas as top rate. The staff were wonderful, The room, hotel and pool areas were all impeccable and awesome. We had a great time and plan to return soon.

Our rooms were great. Loved being out of the rush of Madison. Good restaurants very close by. Would stay here again!

We were very happy with our stay at the Country Inn & Suites. The room was clean, staff friendly, and the kids loved the pool. While the breakfast was not great, it was nice to have it included in the room cost. It easily saved us $30 per day not having to go out. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a fine hotel. Nothing REALLY wrong, just not one of my favorites in the area. Lots of traffic noise. One this particulare weekend I think there was a birthday party of about 15 teenage girls in the pool area - so that sort of eliminated the opportunity to relax in the hot tub. Such is life. Decent resturant in walking distance - Quivey's Grove. The […] breakfast at the hotel was great. Customer service at check in was not outstanding. Just not very freindly. Housekeeping was OK. They left the extra pillows we requested but didn't leave any clean towels. Hotel was clean but there was a strong smell of varnished wood in some of the main areas - not in the hotel room though. We frequently plan weekend get-aways in the Madison area and it's unlikely that we'll stay here again. Mehr

I have a 4 yo, who was in heaven here! Fantastic breakfast, loved the duvet covers in the room, great pool area. I could be in the hot tub while he was in the 1 foot area... The 4 foot pool water was a little cool, but I'm an adult, so maybe I just don't handle it as well anymore! :) Would stay here anytime....

Pool area is incredible for people of all ages!

Very comfortable and well-maintained hotel. We had 2 queen beds w/ nice linens and three pillows each in a generous size room. Bathroom was clean and not tiny. Had a small closet, small microwave, small fridge, hair dryer, and iron w/ board. Pool area had great lil' kid area (<11yrs) and nice pool with bball hoop for fun for older ones. Hot tub was […] nice size. Fitness area had 4 or 5 pieces of equipment - not extensive, but it had treadmills and eliptical. For those feeding a family, the breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, sausage gravy w/ biscuits, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, muffins/toast, yogurt, juice, coffee, and make your own waffles. Very nice surprise - better than any other included breakfast I have had at similar hotels. Staff was very friendly. Looking forward to our next trip to Madison - we will be staying there again. Great hotel. Nice pool area for the whole family. Very clean. Not alot of choices of surrounding places to eat.

What a great hotel! We were in town to help my daughter move. We were exhausted when we arrived to our room. We were so impressed with this place. The king size bed was so comfy. The next morning while my wife worked out in the fitness room I went to the pool and sat in the hot tub. Very relaxing for some sore muscles from moving.
