Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!
Lage
Days Inn JFK Airport liegt in Flughafennähe in Jamaika in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeit: Resorts World Casino. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: St. John's University und Belmont Park.

Der Flughafen John F. Kennedy ist über U-Bahn und Eisenbahn an Manhattan und Long Island angebunden. Am JFK befindet sich auch ein sehr bekanntes modernistisches Gebäude, das von dem berühmten Architekten Eero Saarinen entworfen wurde. Dabei handelt es sich um das historische nationale Wahrzeichen "TWA Flight Center", das 1962 fertig gestellt wurde und von der Fluggesellschaft "Jet Blue Airways" als Terminal genutzt wird. Nicht weit davon liegen die zwei beliebten Strandstädte Atlantic Beach und Long Beach, die nur eine kurze Fahrt entfernt sind.

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Flughafens und ist sehr gut für 1 Übernachtung wenns bald weitergeht.. Die Umgebung ist nicht gerade einladend, aber das Zimmer war sauber und Rezeptionisten freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenloser Airportshuttle hat (auch sehr früh am Mogen) gut und pünktlich funktioniert)

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt zwischen zwei Flügen durchaus ok da sehr nah am Flughafen gelegen. Frühstücksraum sehr klein.

Room small, possible to park for free and free shuttle to airport, which it shares with Best Western and Holiday Inn. If you just need at place to sleep, its fine. Don't expect much. Staff are very friendly and helpfull.
"Don't do it!"
The hotel is very old. My room was next to the fire exit. The door was kept open to the street at all times. I don't think this is safe. The neighborhood is seedly. You would be afraid to walk around. While the hotel is clean and located close to the airport, it was not my cup of tea.
"NEED MORE ACCOMMODATIONS!"
You only get two pillows to sleep on; maybe more should be given for people that might have neck problems and though it's a two star hotel, if you can't have both a microwave and a refrigerator, maybe one or the other. I also believe that the $100, deposit is a bit much as well. For the rating of the hotel.

The mattress was frumpy. I felt like I was in a sleepy hotel. The room was small. They made you pay for coffee. I will never visit that hotel again.

"Hotel was Cool!"
The room and the overall hotel maintenance was good. The staff was very courteous. The cable left allot to be desired. Some channels did not work (HBO). Called maintenance and was told they would fix it and get back to us, but never did either. I would still recommend it even though it was only a one night stay.
"Stay elsewhere unless you are in dire need"
Shuttle does not pick you up from the terminal....you have to take a bus to Federal Circle to meet the hotel shuttle. It does however take you directly to your terminal from the hotel which is nice. Somewhat of a dive for where it's located, and the look of the hotel. I had noisy neighbors till 3am that no one from management took care of.

"Good Stay"
This Hotel lives up to what you'd expect from the typical overnight stay. "JFK Convenience"
For the rate paid the stay was adequate. The room was on the 1st floor which is the basement level. The room was very cold although comfortable.

If you are stuck at the airport this is a good choice. Confortable bed and pillow dated but clean.

We found room clean, comfortable and quiet. Good value for money in regards to convenience to Airport Only downside was attendant seemed to not know little about shuttle bus to airport and the amount of time you should possibly allow if catching a flight.

Overall the hotel is a place to stay when an overnight near JFK is needed. The 'breakfast is minimal and the computer use is expensive if you don't have a wireless, but other than that acceptable. The staff was efficient and pleasant..

Its just a place to rest your head if you have a short night. Location is not good and the rooms are not that nice. Great breakfast and complimentary shuttle is a plus.

"If u need to stay near JFK...."
...and you're tired of paying a lot for a room - this'll do for a few hours...but I'd recommend a Ramada in the area if it's the same price. One good thing - it's right next door to a long term parking garage that is great, reasonably priced, and well staffed.
"Comfort Inn Jamaica misnomer"
It was very noisy all night long -conversations in the hall way could be heard clearly. The bed was old and saggy. Nicely redone bathroom. I was on a one night flight layover -I would look elsewhere for my next trip.

"Near the airport"
The hotel is an okay place to stay in if you are in-between flights. It is not near any places so it's best to bring some take-away food with you. Although the hotel offers Wi-Fi, it is not always reliable and can be slow sometimes. Some of the TV channels do not have great reception. When I first used the heater, there was this musty smell but after […] awhile, the more you use it the smell disappears. The vending machine is not that great and it won't give you any change however if you tell this to the front desk, they'll give you your change. The front desk was friendly and approachable. Perfectly okay for a JFK layover......not plush but clean and comfortable.....nice people at desk......free shuttle bus was a good plus
"Functional - Only When Necessary"
Close to JFK = that's about it! Certainly functional and fits the bill if you need to be close to airport. Free shuttle to airport / subway stop is great. But shuttle will only drop off at airport stop - so must pay the extra airlink fee to get to subway if going into manhattan.

The first room we were given smelled of urine and they quicly gave us another room
"More than adequate for overnight stay at airport"
Stayed one night on Oct 28th having arrived late at airport.Expected no frills and was pleasantly surprised. Small room but it was clean,warm, quiet and comfortable. Only complaint would be the tiny breakfast room which was unable to sit most of those who turned up for breakfast. Most chose to bring their food to their room.
