Santee Fairway Inn - Santee

Unforunately we chose this hotel because of location and price, but it left so much to be desired. We stayed three nights;the first night we had no hot water; cold shower that morning. the bed was never made, and we got fresh towels once. No extra towels were provided. No clock, Large holes in carpet, the mattress was completely worn out. The saving […] grace was that I found no bugs.. The bathroom was reasonably clean, but I would never stay here again, not even at the bargain price. Coffee was available in the lobby. It was so shabby and old; the headboard of the bed had been damaged and never replaced. The iron was missing and there were no hangers for your clothes. Definitely not somewhere I will return. Mehr

Hotel had a lot of deferred maintenance. Carpet torn and wet in some areas. Sheets did not fit bed. No hot water for shower. Lobby out of coffee at 7:00 a.m. Will not stay there again.

Very convinient for a rest during our drive to Orlando.

I was completely disappointed in this hotel after the reviews I read. I suppose it's possible that I got a "bad" room, but I don't think so. This place was so run down and shabby it was almost comical. I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but this was beyond awful. The wallpaper was peeling, the electrical sockets were barely attached to the walls and […] clearly a lot of prior guests had put their cigarette down on the edge of the sink and tub and burned those surfaces. When we arrived I was told that the credit card machine was down, but as I had pre-paid and had a printout of my reservation I was given a room. Darn the luck! I was grateful to spend less than 12 hours total in the place and would definitely NOT recommend it. Mehr

Nothing wrong with place. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Just used to sleep at night during drive to Orlando.

I stayed only one night on my travels to Florida. The front desk staff, although nice enough, was not very efficient. She had no idea what rooms were rented out. My friends whom we were traveling with were given a room that already had someone in it. They were quite surprised when they walked in on them. Oops! The next room they were given was not cleaned […] or made up. The third room was not what they paid for. They pre-paid for a king size bed and ended up with a smaller bed. It was only one night and by this time they just accepted the room. There seems there should be a better way to manage this hotel. Mehr

This inn provided a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stopover as we traveled to Orlando. The location was convenient to eateries, drugstores, and I-95. I would not stay for more than a sleepover because there is little to do in the area and the rooms are a little old. The television was an old 25" tube set and we did not have an iron. […] We were a family of four, but there were only 2 towel sets and 2 small bars of soap. However, we were grateful for free wifi and a nice size refrigerator to store our left over dinner. Mehr

Traveling to Florida, it was a good place to stop, convenient to I-95, will stay there agian when traveling back to Pennsylvania

Room smelled bad

Stayed two different nights, Different rooms. Rooms were very good, Loved the showers

Clean room for a cheap price. Nice people at the front desk. Motel a little run down though and no decent coffee or breakfast in the morning.

The room was nice for the price, well stay on our next fishing trip.

I have never stayed at a Motel 6 before, and I was really impressed. The price of the room was excellent so that made me alittle wiery at first. But come to find out the room was great! We wanted an inexpensive hotel room that was clean and comfortable & that is exactly what we got here. Ni frills, but nice and clean...and inexpensive - perfect for a quick stop over!

The price was great but I rather pay more and stay in a better hotel. We were going to have a late check-in and tried calling the hotel, it took and hour for them to answer (after 6/7 tries). The room was non-smoking but smelled like somebody smoked there or they had a dog in it. Will not recommend to anyone.

This is a great place to stay. Dogs are free and welcomed.

Cheap and easy Just the way I like it

Room was worth the price. For some reason, there were no cups or facial tissues in the room. Beds were comfortable

Just briefly: No drinking cups, no kleenex in the holder, no alarm clock, no iron in the holder, no hair dryer, clothes rack w/duct tape on it...only 1 bright spot - newly instatted shower/tub with a shower massage head! Counter top as the main desk in the lobby was held on by plastic clamps... Thankfully, I was only there to break up my long drive […] and sleep. Mehr
