Das Hotel liegt nur ca. 10-15 Gehminuten vom Zentrum. Also ideal für alle, die es nicht unbedingt ins 24h beschallte Zentrum (z.B. Tempelbar) zieht, es dennoch gerne zentral mögen. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels und der Zimmer und der Service am Empfang waren spitze. Empfehlungen und Tips an der Rezeption waren stets hilfreich, das Personal sehr freundlich […] und hilfsbereit. Lediglich das Essen / Trinken im Hoteleigenen Restaurant lässt definitiv zu wünschen übrig! Die Bar ist spärlich bestückt, das Menue kommt über die kleinsten Standarts nicht hinaus. Wir hatten Breakfast nicht inklusive und waren darüber letztendlich auch sehr glücklich. Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar gegenüber des Crok-Park Stadions, das während unserer 6 Nächte keine Veranstaltung bot. Daher kann ich nicht sagen, wie es im und um das Hotel während eines Spiels im Croke Park ausschaut. Fazit: Wer es ruhig aber zentral mag, und abends nichts gegen den kurzen walk durch die Stadt hat, für den ist das Hotel absoult top! Sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt, günstig, freundliches Personal! Mehr

Das Hotel hat ein super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Es liegt ca. 15-20 Gehminuten außerhalb des Stadtzentrums. Am Abreisetag gab es zwei Spiele im Croke-Park-Stadion und die Lobby des Hotels und die Tiefgarage waren überfüllt. Das Stadion ist mit über 80.000 Zuschauern Fassungsvermögen das größte der Republik. Wir haben es noch so eben geschafft mit […] dem Auto die Sperrzone vor dem Zuschaueransturm zu verlassen. Sauber, freundlich, schönes Zimmer - insbesondere - wenn kein Frühstück gebucht - Aufzahlung für kontinentales Frühstück in der Exekutive-Lounge empfehlenswert. Bis ins Stadtzentrum zu Fuss rund 15 Minuten. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!

The check-in staff were wonderful!

Without exception, all the hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and made an obvious effort to make every guest feel at home. Unusual for such a big hotel. Very impressed. Would definitely recommend to others.

lovely hotel, room was great, lounge and bar area were comfortable and staff were consciously friendly. Only downside is that I would not really feel comfortable walking to and from there after dark but thankfully taxis are easy to arrange and the no. 3 and 41 buses run from just up the road into Abbey street which was handy earlier in day/ evening […] . This hotel is very nice, however it is not close to any of the sites in Dublin with the exception of Croke Park Stadium which is directly across the way. The thing that concerned us is that when we went in town, we were told be several locals that the neighborhood was not safe. One cab driver told us to not walk through the neighborhood at night or […] go into any of the pubs because there is a good chance that we would be mugged. The hotel has tons of security in fact the elevator will not work without a working room key but the hotel also has signs in the room that discourage you from using the in-room safe and to instead use the safe deposit provided at the hotels reception. We were there while there was an event at Croke Park Stadium and there was at least 10 police officers in the streets and in the hotel. The benefit of this hotel is free parking but if you want something close to the sites this is not the hotel for you. Mehr

We always enjoyn the Croke Park Hotel for its friendly atmosphere and excellent service as well as its ideal location. Roome are spacious and the tea/coffee making facilities help to generate that feeling of being well looked after. The food is excellent and it is always service with a smile.

Hotel was so great! We stayed in 2 rooms for St. Paddy's day weekend & couldn't believe how nice & cheap the hotel was - we kept expecting to be charged more!! Reservation staff were so nice & helpful too. I would definitely stay here if in Dublin again:)

The front desk clerk was brilliant upon check-in and again at check-out in the morning (happened to be the same person!). Really appreciated the warm refresher towels on check-in and bottle of water on check-out. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking but there was an ashtray on the table and a distinct faint smell of cigarettes - pretty nasty!! Carpet […] is definitely '70s colours/style and could do with replacing to keep in style with modern bathroom. Nice big bathroom with great shower. One of hangers was padded but material badly ripped and should've been thrown out. Ordered porridge for breakfast and waited about 15 minutes for it - waiter admitted he'd forgotten about it. Was very impressed with the young Canadian receptionist who remembered my previous stay, and gave me a warm welcome back. The room was lovely, the wake up call punctual, and the breakfast was great as usual.

Staff were lovely but we found the hotel away from the main drag and needed a taxi. We got stuck in the lift twice and discovered it was a common happening.

excellent hotel. Extremely friendly staff, clean spacious and comfortable room

Overall a good experience. The hotel and room were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and heating easily adjustable. The surrounding area isn't great, lot of dog-muck on the pavements and you'd need to keep an eye on personal safety at night. However the main road is within 10 minutes' walk and you've got a choice of reasonable […] eateries and a small supermarket near Drumcondra station, plus regular buses to the airport and city centre, or a 15 minute walk to Connelly Street station or the top of O'Connell Street. Only slight drawback was needing to give a credit card (won't accept debit card) or 100 euros deposit in order to use the fridge in the room. Concierge and front desk staff were generally friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. Mehr

The hotel is listed as 5 star. Overall it is clean, but starting to show it's age. The hotel location is great if you are going to the sports stadium next door, otherwise, there is not much in the area. I had stayed for a family of 5, to get close to the airport. It took about 30 minutes to drive to the airport due to rush hour traffic. Price was quite […] good for what we got. Mehr

We have just spent 3 wonderfull nights for mid term break.The Hotel is top class and the staff ever friendly and effecient.There is a shuttle bus on at the weekend which takes you to the city centre.We had a meal in the hotel on friday night and i have to say it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.5***** to Croke Park Hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon, the staff was very kind and knowledgable. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that it is located directly across from a sports stadium, which brought in a lot of people for a game. Other than that everything was great1

I recently stayed at Croke park hotel with my wifethe staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The room was decent , the bed was super comfortable only a short walk into the city centre. All in all had a thoroughly enjoy experience and will definately stay there for our next trip to Dublin.

Spent 3 nights in Hotel for half term break in Dublin. Hotel was very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Good food in restuarant, and breakfasts were magnificent. Situated about 10 minute walk from main area of O'Connel Street, and the walk is through the seedier area of Dublin, so not recommended for a walk after dark, although we did not see anything […] to make us worried. Great location for Gaelic Games, as Hotel is opposite ground. Mehr

from check in till check out had an amazing experience. staff superb, rooms wow! even gave us cutlery and plates to eat a take away. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed in the Croke park hotel for only one night- that was the only problem I would have loved to stay longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was modern and spotlessely clean. Food was excellent and the prices of food and drink were suprising reasonable considering Dublins crazy prices. Fabulous hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. The hotel was a bit further from the city centre than we thought. Other than the Croke Park Stadium, there is not much in the surrounding area. despite that, we loved the hotel and would recommend it.

The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. They were absolutely fantastic. From the moment we checked in early to when we checked out they went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The hotel rooms were clean and had everything we needed in them, the food in the restaurant was fantastic. This was overall the best hotel experience […] I have ever had and I will definitely return. By choice this was one of the the more expensive hotels we stayed in during our travels and we were very impressed with all aspects of the accommodation. Rooms were spacious; bathroom was immense with a huge bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was excellent in choice and quantity as well as service from staff. The only item we were not familiar […] with was the operation of the mini-bar not having experienced the 'lock & weight" system before; however a phone call to reception solved the problem. This hotel is right opposite the football stadium but since there were no games being played - cannot comment on what the neighbourhood would be like during matches - it was quiet during our stay.. Vicinity is a only about a 15 minute walk to main shopping areas and we did all our sightseeing in Dublin on foot without any problems or safety concerns. Mehr

The Croke Park Hotel has excellent reception staff , rooms are very comfortable and high standard of cleanliness. Bar very cosy and suitable for famillies.

This hotel is 2nd to none no expence spared will deffo stay again and recommend ! Room was lovely with everything that was needed little touches like the chocolates on the pillow and a warm lavender bottle in the bed to warm it for you was just so nice made you feel so welcoming ! Food in the restaurant was cheeper than we thought it would be and just […] amazing mouth watering we ate in the hotel every night so we could taste everything on the menu ! good distance from the center so good for exploring dublin ! We were using the hotel as a stopover before flying back from Dublin Airport. The hotel staff were great and very helpful. The area was fine to walk (if you went in the right direction) and there are some great bars. It is very close to the aiport and is easy to find the way in the morning. The rooms are modern and clean, and the bar and resteraunt […] are really nice. Would definitelty stay here again - Very nice. Mehr

Stayed in the hotel on a Friday in December for the Christmas party. Booked it online for a very cheap rate with a 10% hotels.com voucher so didn't expect too much. On arrival I got an upgrade to executive level which includes free breakfast which I hadn't booked initially so a very pleasant surprise. All my colleagues that stayed there had paid more […] and just got standard rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful on arrival, rooms are nicely appointed and clean and bathroom had a bath and separate shower. I even had a "hotty" in my bed which is a lavender scented hot water bottle. Room was to the front of the hotel and even though I am usually a light sleeper it didn't bother me. Also curtains really block out the light and I nearly missed the 12pm checkout where I even got a free bottle of water to go. Would recommend the hotel for business and pleasure. Mehr

The hotel was excellent a full four star. generally service was good but bar staff were a bit slow on the night we arrived. very handy to get to town , a short taxi ride to city center. Room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. Location is 10min walk to main street with all bus stops. Went for delux room which was brilliant and managed to get a very good deal. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of space and plugs, nice big shower and bath. We even got bath robes and slippers plus turn down service (which was fantastic), private lounge and breakfast area and a free drink each […] night. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and approachable making it very easy to see all the tourist sights in Dublin. Restaurant food was delicious and the fire below the massive TV screen made for a beautiful setting in the bar. Would thoroughly recommend! Mehr

An excellent stay with wonderful, welcoming service.

Good location fairly close to Dublin attractions. Short cab ride everywhere, and there was always a cab out front. Only stayed for one night, our first night in Dublin, and it was good to have somewhere comfortable to take a nap and get acclamated with the new time zone. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at athe Croke Park Hotel for 1 night Saturday November12 th 2011. The overall standard of the hotel including the public areas and the bedroom was excellent. There was a very extensive Bar Menu which we availed of at about 5pm. It was great to be able to have a meal as we were going to a show and dinner in the restaurant would have been to […] late for us. Breakfast was wonderful with a fantastic variety of choices. I will have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again and would recommend it to friends. A very positive experience Mehr

I have stayed in Crooke Park Hotel at least 5 times.The rooms are very comfortable. The food is excellant and the staff are very attentive. Only problem this time was that as my elderly mother was with us we used taxis quite a lot. Each taxi driver charged a different price for the same journey.

Very good but a little bit far away from the centre!
