Sehr schönes Hotel. Aber eeine Außenrenovierung sollte demnächst gemacht werden.

We stayed for three nights in late March. The Port was very quiet on Thursday night but picked up a little on Friday and Saturday. To us, there are still too many places charging too much for the product and service they areoffering. This includes the Guadalpin. It is a nice hotel in a nice setting on the beach but in the current environment is charging […] too much. This could explain why the restaurant and bars were very quiet. Mehr

having read the reviews after booking we arrived with some trepidation. The service & our room were excellent. It was no more than a very pleasant 10 stroll into Port Banus. Our romm a had an uninterupted sea iew & although it was December the pool looked very inviting. We would highly recomend the hotel & services provided.

A contributory reason for us booking this hotel was that it had a gym. However the gym was inadequate. It only had machines for leg exercises. There was a small number of free weights. There were no upper body machines at all. In fact my legs are fine. What I personally wanted was to exercise my back, chest, shoulders, biceps and triceps and I could […] not do this during my stay. The room with the gym in was too small, everything was too close together, the two running machines were broken and one of the two cycling machines was broken. Nothing was repaired during my stay. In addition the lock on our patio sliding window was broken and so we were not secure. We reported this but it was not fixed during our stay. Mehr

This once lovely hotel has really gone downhill. Its sister hotel in Marbella has closed for good and I feel sure it's only a matter of time before the same happens here. There are very few staff, and apparently even they haven't been paid for months, the pool bar is no longer open, no-one to man it. The rooms were dirty and in general it was like a […] sinking ship. Hotel is located in Puerto Banus' beachfront, only walking distance from restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and modern. The service in the pool area was good. Staff was friendly and the food/drinks were acceptable. Good price and good service.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. Our room was very clean but did not have a pool view. The only problem I would have with the hotel is that everything you buy in the hotel is overly priced. It was 4 euro for a small bottle of water and lunch for two at the pool bar cost us 43 euro, which is very expensive by any […] standards. Mehr

only one person runs the hotel as front desk / concier /check in / check out internet never works No WI FI if lucky you can reach the front desk after calling at least 10 times

I have stayed at various hotels in Banus , always been told to give Guadalpin a try , booked a Terrace Suite. Arrived in banus at 11.30 and told hotel check in is 4pm .... A little silly and this was not advised on any hotel booking website , after a little ' drink ' to reception man I got keys to room at 12pm. Room was reasonable size and had basic […] facilities. Bathroom was ok . Walked out to balcony with some good furniture , then up a staircase to a roof terrace where I was pleased to see a large area to include sun loungers , huge sofa , and jacuzi !! Room could do with a ' lick of paint ' and hotel feels a little tired. Staff were not to friendly but done blame them as some of the English I experienced in hotel were very testing. Stayed half board and can say I was impressed with restaurant food. The hotel wifi was the speed of a 14.4k dial up modem , that's when you could even log on. In summary ,, if your going to stay then don't book a room less than terrace suit with jacuzi. Would I stay here again ... Yes .. But only if there was a deal . Not enough hotel staff, outside pool bar shut, no towels available at the pool, Hotel in need of some refurbishment. This is not a 5 star hotel!

Beautiful hotel, pictures really do give it justice, each room having a lovely balcony overlooking the pool or beach. Lovely pool and right on the beach, great service on the front desk, including offering upgrade prices. They even showed us a better room to see if we were interested in upgrading. BUT - 2 big issues about this hotel. 1: the beds are […] not 5* beds. I had a twin room for 2 of us sharing but the same beds were used for doubles, just pushed together. The mattress was better suited to a 3 star hotel, rather uncomfortable and most days I woke up with hip ache it was so uncomfortable. The Westin chain could teach them a lot on this front. The lovely chez longe on the balcony put the bed to shame! 2: the location. Don't trust google maps - the road in front of the hotel is actually a beach path! This hotel is further up the coast from Puerto Banus - it is a nice if long walk up the beach front from the town centre, if you are driving (cheaper than a taxi from Malaga airport), plan your route carefully, you can not drive between the hotel and Puerto Banus unless you go on the main dual carriageway, which is rather busy. There are cabs in front of the hotel - €14 from hotel to Puerto Banus is rather pricey too. Hint - if you are hiring a car, the hotel car park is €15 a night, but you can park on the surrounding streets for free, I went out of season and it was easy to park, I imagine in high season it would be harder! For the price I paid I would expect better quality beds. Location is an issue, but great if you like hotel and beach and walking into the local town. Mehr

Very nice modern hotel, excellent pool and other facilities. About a mile from lots of life and shops in puerto Banus, pleasant walk along a new promenade or taxis always available at the hotel. Excellent breakfast included, and reasonable price for a 5* hotel as we paid in advance through Hotels.com.

We had a great time hanging out at the hotel and laying by the pool. The staff was very friendly in helping us in any way they could. The room service food and food at the pool were great. The buffet breakfast was wonderful -- great assortment of various breakfast items -- being able to have breakfast outside with the sounds of the ocean topped it off. There […] was a path being completed from Puerto Banus shops/dining/etc to go in front of the hotel, so construction wasn't ideal, but what was there of the path was great. About 10-15 min walk along the beach and we were with "all the action." The pool furniture could use some repair; possibly it is something they do every season, and we traveled the end of September -- still amazing views from the pool. I am not a sand in your toes kind of a person, so I enjoyed lounging at the pool with views of the ocean. The beds were a bit harder than what I was expecting, but still had a great nights sleep. The hallways are tile, probably because of sand and such, so that made it easier to hear what was going on in the hallways, but not so much that it would be a complaint. My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay. The Staff were all friendly, efficient and very obliging. We had a fourth (top) floor classic room which had a mountain range view which is more interesting than looking at a pool / sea. TV had BBC, fridge allowed the chilling of brought in drinks, Queen sized bed. Breakfast was buffet style and the […] best we have experienced. The pool was very relaxing. It was about a fifteen minute walk along the sea path passing a couple of beach bar restaurants to the Marina area. This was our first time in this hotel. Since we are frequent visitors to Marbella, we were familiar with the hotel. Across from beach. Modern rooms, but a bit small. Nice terrace overlooking pool. Great value for money considering not high season. Would stay again.

Do not stay at this hotel, it claims to be a five star but really should be a three. The rooms were horrible and so was the service. It claims to be in Puerto Banus, but its in San Pedro - which is a good 15-20 min walk to Pueto Banus. And no where near the Marbella city center. There is no concierge just a desk with a bunch of pamphlets. Overall, we […] had a horrible stay and would not recommend this property to anyone. Mehr

Åkte i feb 2012. Fräckt hotell i direkt närhet till Mistral beach, som är fin Fantastisk frukostbuffe och god mat. Trevlig personal. Dessvärre har man inte skött underhållet 100% vilket beror på att hotellet haft ekonomiska problem. Detta faktum verkar dock avspegla sig i priset, som var förmånligt. Kan rekommendera hotellet.

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en este hotel y espero repetir. Destascable el tamaño de las terrazas y la localización en primera línea de una pequeña playa. Como las terrazas son muy espaciosas se disfrutan mucho en verano y dejan las habitaciones a la sombra con lo cual son más frescas. En invierno quizá se queden un poco oscuras por lo que son […] mas recomendable las suites Banus con grandes ventanales, muy luminosas y con unas vistas estupendas. Puerto Banus está a unos 15-20 min caminando por un agradable paseo al lado del mar. En taxi son 8 € aprox. Mejorable la variedad de los buffets. En recepción muy amables y correctos. El servicio en genreal bueno a excepción de una cocinera mayor que da gritos en el desayuno intentando echar con sus comentarios a los comensales más rezagados. Su educación es más propia de una tasca que de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Lo normal es que el maitre o los camareros informen a los clientes de que el buffet se va a cerrar 10 min. antes del cierre, no que la cocinera de gritos incómodos. Mehr

Mycket bra hotell, bra service, fantastiska lägenheter. Vi åt enbart en lunch, men samtlia frukostar, väldigt rikligt ocxh mycket bra kvalité.

El cuarto de escobas era mas grande que la habitación.por las terrazas podia visitar las habitaciones de los vecinos y ellos la mia.el peor 5 estrellas donde he dormido, con diferencia al segundo.hay hostales mucho mejores.si se va en verano la playa esta delante del hotel.no hay nada de nada de servicios en los alrededores en invierno,hay que coger […] el coche para todo. quand il pleut l'hotel fuit de partout, il y a des bassines et des serviettes dans tous les couloirs pour éponger l'eau, c'est le titanic cet hôtel... on entend les voisins de chambres comme ci ils étaient dans la pièce avec nous. la veille de notre départ on a payé notre facture totale afin de partir tôt le jour suivant et le lendemain le gars de l'accueil […] nous disait que l'on n'avait pas payé... nous avions notre avion à prendre.... Je n'ai vraiment pas aimé cet endroit...il n'a rien de convivial... la plage devant est vraiment affreuse... ce n'est que du béton Mehr

Ubicación inmejorable. El desayuno se Toma en una terraza al aire libre, prácticamente sobre la playa. Terrazas amplias. Puerto banus a un paso andando.

Min kone og jeg hadde 5 dager på dette hot. der var topp service og fin beliggenhet. Hotellet er ellers veldig slitt ikke noe 5 stjernes.

Infelizmente fui muito mal tratado por uma funcionária, que estava trabalhando no bar da piscina; chamou a minha atenção na frente de outros hospedes, porque pedi um cinzeiro com agua. A senhorita foi muito desagradavel. Cordialmente, Jorge Guedes

Hotellet saknar service till sina kunder. Frukosten var snålt. Det var alltid slut med badhanddukar vid poolen. Det var ingen ide att ringa receptionen för de svarade ändå aldrig. Dryg personal. Hotellet förtjänar absolut inte 5 stjärnor!

Jättebra läge, bra service men slitet hotel för att vara så nybyggt.

Dette hotel snyder rigtig meget. Området er fint, men hotellet er faldefærdigt og lever ikke op til billederne. Møblerne på vores altan var beskidte og gamle. På toilettet lå der ledninger og rør bag en glas dør, hvor jeg vil gå ud fra der engang har været spa. Internettet var langsomt og der er støj på gaden indtil kl.3 om natten. Poolområdet var fyldt […] med fulde mennesker og de serverede utrolig ringe mad. Absolut ikke et hotel der kan anbefales og LANGT fra et 5 stjernet hotel. Mehr

Fantastic location virtually on the beach, but a bit away from Marbella. good pool facilities, restaurant ok, but one visit is enough. beach restaurant (not belonging to hotel) extremely pleasant, good food & wines. reception exceptionally helpful in changing to better room. would recommend booking a junior suite, which has very large terrace.

We were 8 persons in four classic double room. We had a late flight, arriving Malaga airport 23.10. We came to Puerto Banus and the hotel alomst at 01.00 am. I had informed the hotel a week earlier and requested a late check-in. They were waiting for us and were very professional. We stayed to three nights in mid February and it was a pleasent stay, […] with good service, weather and buffé breakfast. The Breakfast was amazing! A full-course buffé (everything you need and want) with a chef that made omeletts, fried eggs, boild eggs, etc. The rooms were clean and nice. 5* classification is probably a Spanish one. I wouldn say a 4* with a 4*+ breakfast. We got a great price in Feb., (low season) for four double rooms. The weather was great 18 C during the day, in the sun more than 25 C. The nights were like Swedish warm spring nights. We really recommend this hotel in low-season for the price, convenient, service and location. During the high-season the price will probably be 10 times higher. The hotel is perfect of couples, families and group of friends. Mehr

Kaffe kvaliten er generelt under standard. Manglende service ved pool område. Kedeligt med plastkopper/krus ved poolområdet. Musiklarm indtil kl.04.00 pga overdrevet højt bryllupsmusik i underetgagen. Lørdag i uge 42.

Ideaal hotel aan het strand gelegen, een Merendero op het strand, waar je goed kan eten. Auto op straat geparkeerd. Het adres was echter met de TOM TOM niet de vinden. Ontbjt goed en uitgebreid. Wat ik ook al gelezen had, is er inderdaad achterstallig onderhoud, maar het terras en het dakterras van de kamer waren perfect, hoewel dat dakterras met jacuzzi […] niet nodig is! En in het hoogseizoen zijn de eukste beach clubs op loop afstand! Nu october, was alleen de Budha nog open! Mehr

My wife and I stayed here from 12. - 22. September 2010. We arrived 2 o'clock AM, but were greeted with helpful staff and everything went quickly and friendly. We had the smallest room, and it was small, but the balcony made the room much bigger. We were very happy with the location of the room, with nice view towards the see and Puerto Banus. The […] breakfast was fantastic, the best we ever have had in any hotel! The location of the hotel is on the beach, in a quite area. It is about 1 km from Puerto Banes, at the moment we had to walk a not so pleasant road, but a new path is almost finished, that will clearly helped. The swimming pool was great and the service at the pool was almost perfect. Two times they were out of beach towels, but I can live with that! When we compare what we paid and what we got we are very satisfied. We will defiantly like to come back to this nice quality hotel, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Mehr
