Dieses Hotel war die größte Überraschung auf unserer Rundreise. Exzellente Lage, nur wenige Schritte von dem Anlegeplatz der Fähre Woods Hole - Vineyard Haven entfernt. Die Zimmer waren ausgezeichnet ausgestattet, liebevoll im Detail eingerichtet und gepflegt. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Fitnessbereich und Schwimmbad konnten ohne Aufpreis benutzt werden. Das abwechslungsreiche und ausgezeichnete Frühstück im angeschlossenen Zephrus Restaurant war inklusive. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt, saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück wird in einem Raum angeboten, der nicht geputzt wird und das Frühstück selbst ist auch nicht sehr lecker. Es gibt in der Nähe aber viele gute Möglichkeiten zum Frühstücken.

Das Motel liegt im schönen Sandwich, mit malerischem Dorfzentrum und schönem Strand. Wer über kein Auto verfügt wird es schwer haben, da es keine öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung gibt und an der 6A auch keine Gehsteige. Ansonsten liegt die Lodge sehr praktisch direkt gegenüber von Supermarkt, Post und Restaurants in der Nähe des Hafens und des Cape Cod Kanals. Es verfügt über einen Innen- und Außenpool, ausreichend Parkplätze und schöner Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und groß, aber durch die Klimaanlage und alten Teppich auch etwas muffig. Generell war alles älteren Baujahres und entsprechend abgenutzt, aber sauber.

"Stay Away!"
When we first arrived we inquired about being able to check in early and were given a 5-10 minute explanation about how the owner does not like being asked never mind actually ever doing it but if we wanted to try coming back later we could ask again "but don't hold your breath or be disappointed when your told to leave and come back at 2pm". When we […] did come back we made sure it was after 2pm and went to check in, we were not greeted with a hello or anything the woman just stood there so I said I wanted to check in, she took my information and said that the other person I was traveling with would need to provide a photo ID. We were not told anything about the place, pool hours or towels, that coffee is available 24hours a day and we had to ask about everything that was listed on the sign like dinner discounts. When we got to our room it was two full size beds and was supposed to be a king (when they were asked about this we were told that is what they had for what we booked). There was hospital style lighting over each of the beds, two of the drawers in the 50's dresser were coated in some sticky residue, mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom, the bathroom door was peeling apart and the number 109 written in black marker (and this was not even our room number) and the really gross part was when we moved the beds together there was a small pile of cheerios under the bed covered in mold. The entire time we were there none of the staff said hello, hi or even good day to us. The only two times we were addressed at all was by the housekeeping person as she yelled at us to leave our door open and the front desk as we checked out telling me to have a good day. On Friday morning we had gone out for Breakfast and to run a few errands and when we got back about three hours later housekeeping had not been to the room. "Cheap and cheap"
Room was smelly, very old carpet. Motel was nearly empty and i peaked into some of the other rooms windows that were much nicer. So i was disappointed that they'd put us in such a dive of a room when they didn't have to.
"The Town and Country Motor Inn"
I would recommend staying as far away from this hotel as possible. Upon check in, the clerk gave me a hard time about my reservation stating that he could only find one room for me and not the two I booked. He did finally locate the other room. The hotel room itself was musty and smelled of bleach. The first night we had to walk outside of our room […] two times to ask the people running by on the balcony to keep the noise level down. Then we actually had to call the front desk as the people in the room behind ours on the front side of the hotel were screaming and banging things on the floor. The second night we returned from a very long day of whales watching and decided to nap before going out for the night. At roughly 10pm a women tried to break into my room by prying open my locked window and sticking her head in to see if the room was vacant. She claimed she was lost and looking for a bathroom. Had we not been in the room she would have robbed us blind. I contacted the front desk who sent up a maintenance man to "drill" my window shut and informed me that she should not have been able to open it in the first place but aparantly a 'screw' was missing? They called the police and I wound up having to give a police report around 11pm. Our entire night was destroyed not to mention our faith in feeling safe in this hotel. Mehr

By far the best value in Yarmouth on Cape Cod. Great swimming pools, comfortable room with plenty of space, two doubles and a pull out couch. Refrligerator very helpful. "Use it only for emergency stay not vacation"
I used this hotel only for one night as an emergency stay and did not plan to stay. It was right decision because this is the only reason to use it. It was old and smelly. Even it was cheap a night I wouldn't stay more than one night.

For what I needed it for it was fine... Pools were very nice .. The rest was ok at best .. Had a non-smoking room that a couple of cigarettes would have actually improved the smell...

My wife and I stayed in one room on the second floor which was OK. My parents stayed on the first floor in one of the end units. The room had an almost overpowering smell of mold / mildew. Other than that it was fairly typical for an older hotel. Tv channels seemed limited to very basic cable, but then you don't really go to the Cape to watch tv. I've stayed in better 3rd world prisons than this place. mildew in bathrooms, stains, hairs on the bed cover and the bedsheets all contributed to a consistently disgusting experience. once in awhile I find I have to relearn the lesson that ' you get what you pay for' and boy did we ever. "Already booking for next year!"
This was my first trip out to the cape in years, and I wasn't sure what to expect. Some reviews were great, and some not so good. I have to say we had an amazing stay this time out. We had an extra guest at check in, and while they did charge us an extra ten dollars per night(which we were expecting), they also gave us a free room upgrade to a family […] size suite to make us more comfortable. The room was huge, nicely redecorated, and more than we could have hoped for. I have absolutely no complaints. Staff was friendly and very accomodating, the amenities were great...we used the pools both indoor and outdoor, the hot tub, and bbq area. It was located right in the middle of everything, so it wasn't too far to get to everything no matter which direction you wanted to go...p-town or hyannis. We had a great time. I really think the only thing it was lacking was a breakfast, but other than that, it was perfect. The room looked exactly like the pics on their page, minus the flowers on the table, and houskeeping delivered fresh towels daily , leaving them on your door if you had the privacy sign up, which was nice. After our stay out there, i saw that most of the smaller original motels are being torn down and replaced by larger new hotels, so I'm glad this was an option for us. The room was actually bigger than a room we had in a more upscale hotel, and it was less than half the price. And also, the bathrooms were not bad...recently re-done and very nice hot water pressure, which is always a bonus. I will definately be taking my family back, we had a great time! Mehr

"Town & Country Motor Inn W. Yarmouth - Good Value"
We stayed here last summer. Rates were better this year though. It was pretty much what we expected, although we were given a deluxe room this time , which was nice. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. The hotel is not fancy, but you can't beat the price. The only issue we had was that the fitted sheets on the double beds are too small and […] came off during the night, so you were sleeping on the mattress directly, instead of on a sheet. "Recommend - reasonable hotel with the price range"
We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the overall experience. Things we liked: 1> the indoor heated swimming pool is really warm and fun for the kids. There are two other out door swimming pool also looks good, but we did not get a chance to really check out. 2> The common area microwave is in a room with a couple of dinning tables. It is very convenient […] if you want to heat up something for breakfast. 3> The fridge in the room is very convenient. 4> Staff is polite, checkin & check out is smooth. 5> it is nice and quite area with easy parking, good location to shops and restaurants. Things would be improved: 1> The bed and bedding could be better. The mattress pad kept slipping off and not the most comfortable bed. 2> room has a little smell of detergent/chemical they use to clean when first entered the room. We always open the window to air out and get fresh air. 3> it is more like a motel with nice swimming pool, so set the expectation right. 4> bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they do not provide that. 5> They provide 4 people's towel for first day, but the several days following, not enough towel provided. we did not bother to ask for it from front desk. "town and country--a bit tired"
good location on the main route, but hotel has a very tired presentation. needs updating. 2 outdoor pools were nice but closed far too early, thereby overcrowding the 1 indoor pool, very dangerous for kids as there were so many bodies in the water at once. there are lots of other places on the same route which appear to be lots nicer.

This area was flooded with hotels. This hotel seemed to have seen its better day. It needs major updating and is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. It is a 2 star hotel so luxury wasn't there but the inside of the hotel room is very worn out. You walk into a room where the rug looks like you would find a better one on the side of the road. "Great stay for the price."
Great location. Right in the middle of everything. It was old but clean and nice. The four of us would stay there again!

The room was cheap and that explains why it was so old and tired. The towels were thin and scratchy, the tv was ancient and the telephone was at least 25 years old. The room was clean, and that's about all I can say about it that is positive.

"Great Place"
Loved this place. Everyone was so nice. Anything you needed was at your room in as little as 15 minutes from the time you called. Even better to our surprise was that they had 4 pools and 2 were heated. One heated inside and the other out. We will be going back this wither and again in the summer next year. Our room was reasonable big. A/C worked well - it was a very hot weekend. Pools were clean. There was a cube fridge in the room - already on. Beds were ok. There were very few surfaces to put things down on (since the fridge was on the dresser). Bathroom could use more hooks or other places to hang a towel or wet bathing suit. There were only two electrical […] outlets in the room - very close to each other. My husband has a CPAP machine (for snoring) and we had to go buy an extension cord - front desk didn't have one. "It was great for the money"
It was great for the money and perfect location where we can visit other towns. This hotel needs improvement, but while we were there we asked them to do a thorough cleaning and to change a tile in the bathroom and they were very accommodating to us and very proffessional and very frendly.

I went to Cape Cod for a softball tournamnet. I didn't expect it to rain all weekend. I spent more time in the hotel than I anticipated. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and working fine. Complimentary coffee in the reception area made it unnecessary to leave the area. A breakfat restaurant was located right next door. The maid service was outstanding. For the Cape Cod area, this is a decent motel/hotel. Most mo/hotels in this area have at least 1 or 2 pools, and this mo/hotel is no exception. 3 pools total, 2 outside, 1 inside, all well kept. Well lit parking lot, free coffee in lobby, ample sized rooms for price, refrigerator in rooms. Beds were OK for price. Clean(looking) sheets. Enough towels […] for 2 people. Now to the negatives...in our room the tub was fairly dirty looking/stained. There is bar soap for sink and bath. Small TV. Worn furniture(chairs, tables). "A Great Place to Stay!"
The motel exceeded my expectations. Although not a new motel, it is clearly well-maintained and in the continual process of upkeep. The lobby building is on the main street and the motel buildings are behind this so you don't hear the traffic. Plenty of places to shop & eat and fun activities nearby on the same street. Plus three pools at the motel! […] We stayed during a rainy weekend and still had a wonderful fun time. Would definately stay again! Mehr
