Nov. 2012Ein klasse Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, auch wenn der Pool wegen Umbauarbeiten immer noch geschlossen war (aber zu Beginn der Regenzeit hat man ohnehin genug Wasser, wenn auch von oben). Einziger Nachteil ist die relativ weite Entfernung zum Zentrum von Kuala Lumpur; hier muss man aufpassen, dass man sich nicht von Taxifahrern überhöhte Preise aufschwatzen lässt.

schöner Pool und sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Ansonsten ist das Restaurant für malaysische Verhältnisse relativ teuer. Auf der anderen Seite des Kreisverkehrs (leider kein Gehweg, also Vorsicht") gibt es aber ein sehr gutes und günstiges indisches Restaurant, eine Tankstelle und einen Kiosk. "Rude staff and tired rooms"
I encountered quite a few rude staff and despite the ambience being ok in some ways, birdsong, ok pool, location good etc - I really was treated very badly at times. I think for a transit hotel this is a poor policy at people with doubtless be tired, travel weary etc - to insult them is not a great way to add to this! They also seem to have overcharged […] me by $65US when they said they were just taking a swipe of my credit card so I could charge items against it. I paid in full for the room before arriving and paid for extras when I left - I have never known a specific charge to be put through by a hotel for a swipe before?! I will look into it with the credit card company - just adds to the poor customer service I experienced. "Decent place and good for transit"
I have booked and stayed 2 nights from 15-17 March 2013, the main reason being was that I had planned to visit ASOT600 event at Sepang International Circuit. This hotel is very close to KLIA and has a regular free shuttle service, but approx 10-12km away from the LCCT. If you are transiting via LCCT, it is recommended to take the bus service which is […] about RM3.00 per pax. The "Budget" taxi will charge approx RM45.00 to go from LCCT (From my experience). There is nothing much around Concorde Inn KLIA, the stay is fairly comfortable and decent and recommended mainly for travelers on transit. Taxi from Concorde Inn, to go KLCC is approx RM100.00. For us, we had a terrible experience where we couldnt get any taxi at all from ASOT600 back to hotel and taxis were overcharging something like RM400.00 from Sepang to KLCC. Check-in, after a 5 hour flight. was an ordeal (over 30 minutes). It appeared that the hotel staffed the trainees after 9 p.m. The room had the look and feel of a college dormitory. Walls very thin! Room was clean. No phone in room. International calls were impossible. I was told only one phone in hotel could handle these calls and it was 'out of order.' […] Wake-up call was on time. Can be used only if you need to take a early morning flight, Lobby looks great and rooms are like dorms. Suggestion to the hotel management, change the tiles in the aisles to a normal cement floor or carpet. The gaps in tile produce a lot of noise when the bags with wheels move on them. Worth staying for a stop over. That's about it. We arrived at our room two hours early and staff wanted 60 ringgits for an early check in. "Maybe this is what you get from an airport hotel"
Staff unhelpful and not particulary interested. Maybe this is typical of an airport hotel which deals only with one night stays. One of our rooms was double booked with the result that our daughter and grandchildren were moved some distance from us. Noisy corridors and poorly insulated bedrooms meant we were kept awake a lot of the night by noisy travellers coming and going as well as noisy neighbours. The swimming pool was enjoyed by the little ones, but security is lacking - it seemed anyone could wander in and a very close eye was kept on the grandchildren after one was approached, inappropriately, by a stranger. My flight departs very early in the morning so picked this hotel. Stayed a night near airport since airport is so far from city. Free shuttle to KLIA, not LCCT airport.
