H10 Timanfaya Palace Hotel - Yaiza

Firstly we arrive and were put into what looked like an ok room, we found it noisey but slept ok as we were exhausted from our wedding day the day previous and the travel to lanzarote. Second night the same, but by the third night the noise was unbearable, we were beside the plant room for the swimming pool and there was a constant humm. At 1am they […] agreed to move us to another room, but the room smelt of cigarette smoke and was a twin room with a lower quality of linen. Not ideal for honeymoon but we needed sleep. The next day they moved us to a double room, however the bed was damp and cold, they changed the sheets but still damp, must have been the bed. On top of that we had mosquitos in the room, I managed to kill some but not them all. When the light was off they came to nibble at our faces. At around 2am we called reception and explained, they sent maintenance down to us, he handed us a larger can of spray for killing cock roches, but a waring on the can said not to spay near humans and have any room well ventilated, but we needed to sleep, so we had to move again. At 2.30am we got a twin room (2 beds). The next morning at 9.30am we got a call from the reception manager giving out to us for having 2 rooms and we had to choose one asap and clear out the one we dont want. not exactly an apology. We explained about the mosquitos, the lady explained yes but we gave you the spray. So we had to choose between a cold, damp, insect infected double room or a clean twin room, even though we were on honeymoon we chose the twin as if was clean. By this we were half way through our vacation and we had changed rooms 4 times and had very little sleep. I could allmost say we had wasted our time in this hotel. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday this is a well placed hotel; yet amenities of Playa Blanca within walking distance as is the ferry to Fuerteventura. Clean comfortable rooms and very quiet especially at night. All general areas of the hotel well maintained (some sun beds could benefit from cleaning however). Staff friendly and helpful with the […] exception of some of the restaurant staff who would benefit from some training. Food of good quality and varied. Neither swimming pool was heated in March despite advertised to the contrary. Mehr

Hotel clean and food good. I would rate it as a 3 star, rooms very clean, staff very amenable and polite. Some areas need updating ie toddler pool but on the whole an ideal place to stay. Location good - promenade into Playa Blanca lovely walks - good local eateries - wi fi access on site in hotel reception which was good. Clubs for children and entertainment […] in the evening. Good customer services with Vicky before we left and we were given a complimentary tea/coffee tray in our room. Recommended. Mehr

An excellent hotel with friendly staff. We were there in November and found everything of a high standard. Plenty of car parking space (free) and a lovely stroll along the front to the town not too far away. We would definately return.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. Not on a beach - is on a rocky cliff but still beautiful. The buffet is Ok. The larger of 2 pools had a leak and was closed the entire visit. The gym equipment was dated but Ok. Also, service at the concierge was great & the people were friendly but very slow during busy times. The room was beautiful. However, we were […] guaranteed 3 beds from hotels.com & upon check-in, but later realized that they don't offer 3 beds. Only 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa. Rooms don't have irons/ironing boards - have to leave a cash deposit & hotel had to call 3rd party for delivery which was never delivered. Hotel was located very short walk to the shops in Playa Blanca, and offered great tours that could be booked at the front desk. All in all. Great experience. Would definitely return. Mehr

El Hotel en general está muy bien, tanto de instalaciones como el servicio buffet y equipamiento. Estoy en parte descontento por que estuvieron toda la semana con obras (cambiando las puertas y el mobiliario) y los ruidos que ello conlleva y al realizar la reserva en ningún momento me comentaron que estaban en obras, con lo que me parece un detalle […] muy feo por su parte, ya que ver andamios, herramienta y gente trabajando abrá a gente que no le guste y yo me incluyo. Por otro lado, casi la totalidad de los clientes del hotel son ingleses, con lo que el saludo por costumbre te lo dicen en inglés en cualquier sitio del hotel, con lo que me parece una falta de respeto. Añadir que un día estuvimos en un espectáculo del hotel (era como un concurso) y la totalidad de los diálogos fue en inglés, y estábamos allí sin entender gran cosa, otra falta de respeto. También, echamos en falta un buffet pensando un poco para los españoles, ya que por las mañanas bien de bacon, tortilla de patata, sandwiches, embutidos, huevos fritos, etc. y por la noche nada de eso. Ett mycket trivsamt hotell för gäster utan barn. Natuligtvis kan man ha med sig barnen men vi ansåg nog att detta hotell var till för en mer vuxen publik.

Ubicación inmejorable. Instalaciones generales muy buenas. La habitación muy amplia, limpia y cómoda. Personal muy correcto y agradable y además los precios de restaurante y cafetería muy razonables. Calidad/precio: muy buena. En resumen; hotel muy recomendable
