Wir haben 7 Tage im Hotel übernachtet und fanden es gut. Das Hotel ist natürlich nicht für einen Wellness-Urlaub geeignet, aber wenn man nur eine günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit Frühstück braucht ist es in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Bettwäsche wurde regelmäßig gewechselt und es gab täglich neue Handtücher. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Frühstück ist halt mit Plastikgeschirr. Da wir keine großen Frühstücker sind, hat es uns vollkommen gereicht. Kaffee, O-Saft, Marmelade, Frischkäse. Ich würde wieder hingehen.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht im Sleep Inn. Dafür ist es eine saubere, preisgünstige Unterkunft mit günstiger Verkehrsanbindung nahe der Interstate. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.

Inkl. kleinem Frstk bestens als Zwischenstop geeignet!!! Walmart(24Std) in 3min erreichbar. Hard Rock Cafe Foxwoods ( mit Casino )in ca. 45min Entfernung!!!

"Off the Charts"
Jim and Mary are gracious hosts and go above the mark to see that their guests are treated like family. I will find an excuse to visit with them again The Inn was immaculate, the service was warm and the grounds were pristine. There is no reason to consider any other Inn. "Convenient location in beautiful setting"

"Best Bed & Breakfast in New England"
I am originally from New England and have stayed in my fair share of B&Bs. On a recent trip we had an opportunity to stay at Captain Stannard. It turned out to be the best part of the visit! "Inn" does not do justice to this place. It has beautiful rooms that make you feel more like you are staying with a relative than anything else. You also have spacious […] livingroom spaces with fireplaces, game rooms and an amazing back porch that spans the length of the Inn that is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. But that is just the start. You won't find your standard muffin basket and juice at this B&B. You get a full course home cooked breakfast like pineapple upside down french toast...country ham, homemade breads and more! Now even though this country Inn is listed as a B&B it has all the amenities and modern conveninces of home. Each room has its own bathroom with towels that smell fresh out of the dryer and you even have cable TV and wireless internet access. I certainly enjoyed using my laptop on the back porch while having coffee. Your hosts Jim and Mary are delightful and you often find little hand written notes with a special home baked treat in your room daily. You immediately feel like family. Thanks again! Liked the hotel very much. The service was great and the room very nice and comfortable. The hotel does not provide shampoo, lotion etc. Wish I had known that in advance. Old style, personalized service and cooking and unique breakfast. This is an impressive wooden hotel in New England style, with beautiful old details and great rustic wood panels. Large porch and pretty garden. The only pity is that the bed linens are not up to a 4 star hotel standard, we missed a duvet and the pillows are directly uncomfortable. The […] breakfast is served at 9 o'clock, which is good if you are on a holiday, but not if you are working and have appointments in the morning some distance from the area.
