Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war angenehm, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber, allerdings sind die Betten nicht die Besten, die Matratzen sind sehr weich und durchgelegen. Das Frühstück ist völlig in Ordnung, vor allem preislich. Die Lage direkt in der City ist ideal für Städtereisende, Haltestellen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Zimmer top, etwa 15..20 min vom Flughafen entfernt. Shuttle ca alle halbe Stunde. Service im Restaurant quasi nicht praesent, haben jeweils eine halbe Stunde auf Bestellen koennen, Nachbestellen und Zahlen gewartet. Essen in Ordnung.

Wir waren für fünf Nächte im einem Dreierzimmer untergebracht. Allerdings im Basement, was aber durch die Grösse des Zimmers wettgemacht wurde. Badezimmer und Hotelzimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage ist hervorragend, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Angestellten freundlich.

Freundliches Personal, gute Flughafenanbindung, bequeme Betten und wenn man keine Lust auf ein großes Früchstück hat, kann man 2 Häuser weiter in einem kleinen Cafe-Shop leckere Scones oder auch eine Portion Porridge bekommen. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen!

Der Empfangsbereich des Hotels ist recht klein und immer voll. Flurbar anstelle von Minibar im Zimmer fände ich O.K.aber was absolut fehlt ist ein Schließfach im Zimmer. Alle Serviceleute waren absolut nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war groß, Fernseher aber alt und recht wenig Sender. Insgesamt war aber alles O.K.
Lage
The Ardmore Hotel liegt in Flughafennähe in Dublin in der Nähe von: Glasnevin Cemetery, National Botanic Gardens und Dublin City University. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Garden of Remembrance und Croke Park.

Der Flughafen von Dublin befindet sich 10 Kilometer nördlich des Zentrums. Der relativ kleine, jedoch belebte Flughafen wird momentan ausgebaut und 2010 durch einen neuen Terminal erweitert. Der Flughafen ist über eine Buslinie mit dem Stadtzentrum verbunden, das in etwa 30 Minuten erreicht werden kann.

Idealgelegenes Hotel mit Gratisparkplatz in Tiefgarage - mit PW 10 Min. Entfernung zum Flughafen - sauber und modern - keine unnötigen Zimmerausstattungen!

"Good Value"
The Ardmore is a clean, modern hotel that has power showers and staff that are friendly. The food served is well prepared and affordable. For the money it can't be beat, but if you want nice pillows, soft towels& cozy bedding then you should spend the extra money to get them. Those of us who prefer value over the little "extras" would love this hotel. […] The 15 minute bus ride into downtown wasn't bad unless you JUST missed the bus and have to wait another twenty minutes to get on. It is a great location for a first night into Dublin or your last because it is only 15 minutes to the airport! Mehr
"In and about Dublin City"
The room was clean. It has all the standards that you would expect except mini fridge but there was a vending machine and a free ice box just beside the lift presumably on every floor. The room has a bath with shower and squeeky clean although i found the bath was quite slippery which might be hazardous if you dont mind yourself. The location of the […] hotel on the other hand was perfect for us coming from Letterkenny using N2 road. Located on N2 at around finglas area near clearwater retail park made it easy to go in and out of dublin city centre. I bet going to the airport also within few mins drive off to M50 and M1. Bus service to city centre was quite frequent with the bus stop located just outside the hotel. Ardmore hotel also offer free car parking either beside the hotel or a more secure underground car park beneath it. Mehr

great location - good value for money- clean - friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. I requested a 9am check in 7&room was ready on arrival . Requested early morning taxi on departure - bang on time . Would certainley reccomend to friends & will use again.

"Weekend trip to Dublin"
Good, clean new hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was a let down as surrounding area is not very nice but has a bus stop closeby.

The hotel reception was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the hotel is very nice and well decorated. Restaurant that serves all meals and nice bar, and the 10-15 minute bus ride to the city center has a stop right outside the hotel. Not too bad of a neighborhood and the hotel is very safe. I'd definitely stay again!

Recently enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff were so nice and friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The free underground parking was a bonus too. I don't know how I never spotted this hotel before but I will stay there again!

"Hotel Ardmore. Quiet and staff so helpful and frie"
Whilst being a little out of town it means that noise is at a minimum but bus stops just outside the door so easy access to the city. Hotel staff very helpful and with the bonus of having smoking rooms on request. Bar food promotion with discounts means that a stay at the Ardmore will fit any budget.

"Hotel stay in the Ardmore, Finglas, Dublin."
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Am planning to stay there again soon.
"Good price, but we now know why!"
Firstly, the hotel staff were pleasent and accommodating. They were politie and our room was ready at 08:00am after a early flight! We I itially had a room looking over the road on the first floor, but moved as the road was busy and loud, even at night. Minor point : There wasn't any aircon or a fan, so we got hot at night ... And it was only 15 deg […] outside! There was a few patch works been done on the Walls and a few stains on the bed The room was comfortable... Shower was good and hot and tv was a few basic extra channels. Location was on a main road, with a local large supermarket. 15 mins on the bus into town, hotel did sell bus tickets, or €1.85 each way (exact change) Food and drink was expensive, but the whole of Dublin was. The hotel was busy at the weekend. On the whole... Good price and we didn't mind the travel. Shame the room was too warm and no aircon. Room was comfortable, but the hotel drink and food price was at city centre rates. Would I stay again? No ... As there are other hotels to try! Would I put others of staying? No ... It is an acceptable hotel if you don't mind a few imperfections. It's a bed and shower... The staff gained a few points ... Very helpful and polite! Mehr

Everytime I stay in Dublin I choose Ardmore; staff are very professional, friendly and accomadating. Hotel is very clean, rooms and bathrooms superb and value for money. Remember , it is a three star hotel and it has excellent standards for such.

"The Ardmore Hotel- Dublin, Ireland"
We picked this hotel because it was convenient to both the airport and the city centre. It said it was only a few miles from the airport but the cab ride still cost over 20 Euros! Take a bus, not a cab! Check in was fine and friendly. Hotel looked like a decent location until we got to our room. The view from our window was scary! Run down, graffiti, […] trash. We heard kids screaming and dogs barking the whole time. Room was comfortable though. Had to ask for a fan to drown out the noise from the people talking next door. It was a clean and spacious room though. Overall, I don't know if I would return. Mehr
"Ardmore Hotel"
Lovely clean hotel, ideally located, easy access to phoenix park and the botanical gardens, and the centre of Dublin. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was that the door to the smoking area in the pub was always open and the smell wafted around the pub.

Hotel is only 15 minutes from Dublin centre and bus stop is opposite hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. It was our first time in Dublin and had many questions about getting around etc but staff were not helpful or friendly.

Hotel was easy for getting to and had free underground car parking included. Would not be comfortable leaving car parked outside in open in this area at night. Did not have any food in hotel but got the impression that it was ok from people who were eatting there. 20 Euro for taxi to city centre.

I only really used the hotel for sleeping but staff at reception and the bar were helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Good venue for attending Cappagh Hospital.

Was greeted with nice welcome didnt find it nice area went to underground car park but couldnot get in busser didnt work. Had lovely bar lunch excellent staff in bar. At 10.30pm tv and lights went out ,.ights came back but no tv tried ringing reception but phone didnt work awfully long night afet that already in bed after bath. The staff at the Ardmore hurried their cleaning staff to help us settle in our rooms three hours before "normal" check-in time! What a nice start to our holiday in the UK! The rooms were clean, welcoming. Immediately out the door was a bus to the center of Dublin -- a simple ride away and back. Great location, excellent facilities for the money.

I was booked into the Ardmore as part of a tour and added on days at the start and end of the tour and they were great about combining the rooms so I did not have to move. They were very helpful in providing directions to get downtown and info on various attractions. The food and service in the restaurant were good and the room was very clean and well […] maintained. It is located on a bus route which takes you downtown. It makes it difficult to take a break in the middle of the day as you have to take the bus back and will usually remain in the city core. The biggest drawback on this hotel is the noise. The first stay (2 nights) I was located at the back and could hear a yappy dog barking ALL NIGHT. After my tour I stayed there for three more nights and asked to be at the front and the noise from the traffic drove me crazy. The rooms are very warm and due to the noise you can not keep the window open. I would not return to this hotel for more than one night and only with ear plugs. If you are a sound sleeper the hotel is fine. Mehr

My wife and I selected the Ardmore, for a two night stay, because of its close proximity to the Phoenix Park for the Bloom 2010 garden show and the Botanical Gardens at Glasnevin. The room rates were also very attractive, as was the secure parking offered. The reception area was welcoming as was the receptionist. The room and en-suite were spotless. […] Indeed, all of the hotel was very clean and well cared for. The breakfasts (extra) were superb (the full Irish and the Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon are highly recommended). As there was very little in the way of restaurents in the vicinity we chose to sample the bar food; the steak and fish courses were very good and well cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful and the secure parking was a bonus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly return, as well as recommending the Ardmore to others (if city centre location is not a pre-requisite). Mehr
