The Ardmore Hotel - Dublin

Location was great, walking distance to all the local sites and pubs.

It was a bit out of the way from the city central area, but there is a bus stop close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in a room near the street and it was a little noisy at times.

Hotel was nice and clean and a short 10 minute bus ride from the main city centre. Also had a Tesco just 2 minutes away which was handy.

Hotel staff very kind and helpful, as i did not no dublin that well. Food excellent. Beds very comfortable room very tidy and kept clean would recommend it to anyone and would go back myself for another weekend plus price was very reasonable for a hotel in dublin

The hotel was great for sleeping close to the airport, however the parking garage mechanized door was jammed closed and this caused for a delay when leaving to go to the airport.

First, don't trust google maps for the hotel location. It looked like it was directly between the city center and the airport, where I wanted, but after my last minute booking, I found it was to the North West of the city. It's boasted as being 15 minutes by car, but I was taking a bus, and had to go down into the city, then take another up to the hotel. […] (Bus 747 to the city, then Bus 40, or 40A to the hotel, if you're curious). The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and she even gave me a copy of bus information for getting to/from the city and airport. The room was decent, but I requested a non-smoking double and received a smoking twin. It did not smell though. It looked for the most part clean, but the bare white wall had tell tale signs of touch up paint on spots. there was a hair or two in the bathroom, but nothing that seriously stood out. There's internet in the lobby with 1 Euro for 8 minutes. Overall, it seemed okay, not spectacular. The worst part was the location. Mehr

Ardmore hotel is a good option if you do not mind taking buses to/from the city center. Hotel was nice, my room was very clean, and the staff helpful and friendly. It's about 20 min (by bus) from Dublin city center. Again, great option if you don't mind staying away from the city center.

Nice hotel, but a little outside the city centre. You will need to take a bus in, and if out late, a cab home. It is closer to the airport, so you'll save money in that respect. The rooms were nice (no hair dryers, which was strange) and relatively modern, and there was a decent bar in the hotel. I didn't like the breakfast at all.

The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The only problem was that without someone at the front desk, we couldn't get our car out of the gated parking lot. That cost us time getting to the airport that we could barely afford. The person who finally open the gate was apologetic. Hotel isn't near anything, the neighborhood around it is not the best.

Very pleasant stay - easy to get into city centre with buses stopping in front of the hotel. Brilliant bargain hotel and looks lovely as well. Comfy bed, nice tidy bathroom, practically everyting is brand new. Will stay there again soon.

Stayed in the Ardmore Hotel for one night only - it was good value, modern and clean. We had lunch in the bar which was tasty and reasonably priced. A bus to and from the city centre runs from just outside the hotel entrance. Also handy is a large Tesco within 5 mins walk from hotel. definitely would use the hotel again and recommend to others.

Good for its value. Pretty clean. Close to both city centre and airport. Nice stay for 2-3 days. Free parking (very important for Dublin)

The Hotel was a definite four star quality, though it is located in changing area. If you have a car this hotel was a great value for the money. If you require public transportation this hotel by train requires you to take the bus into the city from the airport and then catch another bus back out to the Ardmore.

Abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni meravigliosi e l'albergo è stata una cornice fantastica. Per chi non ama viaggiare in autobus la posizione è un pochino scomodina, ma ci si può adattare tranquillamente. Lo consigliamo vivamente

A metà strada tra l'aeroporto ed il centro, molto comodo il parcheggio coperto, camere moderne abbastanza silenziose. C'è la fermata del bus per il centro ma l'ultima corsa è verso le 11, quindi la sera serve auto o taxi.

Bedden heel hard, er zit een drukke weg recht naast het hotel, die nogal wat lawaai produceert. Kwaliteit van ontbijt en kamer verder is hoog, maar het geheel was de vrij hoge prijs niet waard

Carino, pulito, personale disponibile come i dubliners in generale. Facilmente raggiungibile con i bus da e per il centro dove c'è naturalmente più caos.

Kjempefornøyd med vårt opphold på ardmore:) kjempeservice,spesielt i bar og restaurant. De lokale brukte også baren på hotellet,noe som var kjempekoselig,fikk masse tips og råd av de+mange gode og morsomme samtaler:) ANBEFALES!!:)

un hôtel sympatique, bien tenu avec un personnel disponible et accueillant.

Vores værelse var fint, selvom vi boede ud til en vej, så kunne støjen holdes ude, når vinduerne var lukket. Dette gør dog at værelset bliver meget varmt, pga den manglende aircontion. Receptionen var meget flinke og imødekommende (lånte gratis stik-adapter, og vekslede gratis penge til bussen, ringede til et af de steder som vi skulle besøge for os […] m.m.) Vi spiste ikke på hotellet, så det kan jeg ikke udtale mig om. Det er busstoppested lige ude foran hotellet, så det er meget let at komme til og fra centrum. Mehr

I første øyekast, hvis man kommer veien fra Dublin, ser dette ut som et helt greit hotell.. det er vel og merke helt til du kommer til rommet.. Vi var så "heldige" å få rom på baksiden av hotellet. Utsikten her var som å se rett i en ghetto. Søppel, nedslitte hus, folk som tømte søppel rett i bakgården. Selve rommet var ikke akkurat mye å skryte av […] heller. Vannskader i taket etter lekasjer, manglende knotter for å skru på dusjen, alger i vannkokeren, råte i listene på veggen og en seng som like godt kunne vært kun planker. Mehr

Het hotel is heel erg mooi, buiten het centrum maar met de bus voor de deur, voor 1,80 per rit kun je naar het centrum. Dit is zeer goed te doen. Het bed is alleen wel aan vervanging toe, de spiralen komen door het bed heen. En we sliepen in kamer 201 en dit is boven de bar met hele harde muziek in het weekend. Niet erg als je zelf ook gaat stappen […] maar als je een tour gaat doen en je moet er vroeg uit dan is dit wel een nadeel. Verder een prima hotel met aardig personeel. Mehr
