La Quinta Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Broadway Area - Myrtle Beach

The hotel service staff was just wonderful. The room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable. The location is in close proximity to great shopping, entertainment, and food. Overall our experience was very nice and we would certainly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Been there in December will come back again.

We were totally happy with this hotel. I purposely chose one that was not actually on the beach but was near as we were first time visitors to Myrtle Beach, arriving shortly after noon and just wanted a quick overview of the area before an early morning start the next day. Firstly, we arrived before the official sign in time and were promptly given […] a room. The room was quite large, staff friendly and helpful and we wanted for nothing. We were a short drive from the Atlantic and also from some of the golf courses which we visited. Broadway at the Beach was a bonus as this playground was just across the street and a great place to spend time walking around after dinner. The lovely gal at the front desk told us about it and gave us some area maps as well. Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast staff was awesome! I would stay again. Just wished the pool and/or jaccuzi could stay open longer.

Great value. Comfortable. We only stayed the night and were back on the road again however I would absolutely stay here again for an extended stay. Fast easy check in and out. Friendly staff. Very clean.

I felt that for the money I could have gotten a better room at another establishment. I had a king suite, it was small, a little musky smelling, and the bottom of the tub looked like it needed to be bleached. It is in a great area, but I'm gonna take my chanced else where next time.

My husband and I just stayed here for most of the week. It was really great!! We brought our 2 little dogs along and was very comfy with their stay there too. Everybody was so congenial,courteous, helpful. It was very nice to be met by smiley, friendly faces. They ran print outs for us to eat and shop and it was so very helpful. I am already recommended […] this motel. If I had anything to complain about at all, it would be that the breakfast ends at nine a.m. and that's about an hour early for most people I would think. The hotel accommodated our Great Dane and Lab. The location was perfect, just minutes from the beach. The hotel was very clean and the employee's were very friendly. And there was plenty of area for our dogs to do their business. Thanks so much! We will be back!

Nice clean hotel. Good breakfast for the price. One negative comment would be that the bathroom off the hotel lobby was not as clean as the bathroom in our hotel room. It wasn't filthy but wasn't up to what I thought should be standard. Easy access to almost everything. Lots of shops and places to eat.

Everything was great. No hold ups and the room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked well in the bathroom.

The staff was just lovely. However, the room had the most AWFUL smell of urine! We were just staying for one night to see a concert> had our stay been longer, I definitely would have checked in to another hotel.

Quality, value and convenience who could ask for anything more! Wonderful continental breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Nice room and the location was the best!

We only had the weekend, but wish we could have spent the week. The hotel was a pet friendly wonderful place to stay. We were able to walk across the street to activities / attractions. Can't wait to go back to this location - or try another location in another town.

We had no problem with our stay except for we were put in a handicapped room on the first floor with barking dogs.When we used to shower, water went all over the floor. We had to use the towels to get the water up. I think someone should have informed us of the animals on the floor. They were out in the hallway as if they were about to fight and it […] iwas quite disturbing. We didn't rest well because it seemed as if the walls were too thin and you could here every movement going on. They were up around 4:00 or 5:00am for their walks or whatever. It was very loud. We asked to be moved and went to the third floor. After we got to the third floor in a non smoking room, smoke was all we could smell. We had to open the windows to air the room out. The hotel wasn't that bad, but could use some upgrading, especially the elevator. The showers need to be upgrded also, they didn't seem as clean as they could have been. Mehr

This hotel is THE cleanest pet friendly hotel I've ever visited. We couldn't have asked for a better price or location for what we were wanting. The staff was very friendly, even after witnessing them dealing with some undesirable guests and trying to make the impossible possible for them. Breakfast was great, Rooms were very comfortable and like that […] the windows opened since it was so nice and cool out during our visit. Broadway on the Beach was a good stint, but within walking distance. Mellow Mushroom is in the next parking lot adjacent to the hotel. The only thing I wish they would do differently is fence off the dog area for a dog park. We will be back again and have now made this our Hotel of Choice when visiting the area. Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay at La Qunita Hotels. I really like that eerything was ready upon my arrival. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast. We will definitely visit your location again in the future.

Excellent quality/price ratio. Very close to the Broadway new attractions area and 5 minutes drive to the boardwalk at Myrtle Beach. Clean, ample doble room. In process of installing new flat TVs. Good continental beakfast, with a variety of options. Elevators need a better cleaning. Would recommend it a a base to visit all the area (We enjoyed more […] the North Myrtle and Surfside beaches than the Myrtle ones: the barrier of stones made it very uncomfortable to enter and exit the water). The hotel was a great location for a night out at Broadway on the Beach. The hotel staff were friendly, the room was presented to a good standard and there was a good choice of options at the breakfast buffet. Only downside is that it is some distance to the beach so we ended up driving there but there is plenty of parking so this wasn't a big dea […] l. Mehr

Hotel was as a great location. I was scared before i got there because we are used to staying at Sheraton and because of some of the reviews I read on here. I have my own cleaning business and I did a full inspection and they passed. Everything was very clean! Pool was nice . Only probs were slow elevator. Would definitely stay again!!!

Hotel little dirty - clean the carpet near the baseboards. Staff a little ruff - not West Virginia - Myrtle Beach!

This hotel was in a GREAT location to EVERYTHING....attractions, restaurants and the beach was less than a 5 min. drive down the street! The concierge was extremely helpful in providing tourist information, coupons and maps. I would highly recommend this hotel.

certain clerk was very rude and very loud and very rude to worker ,we had to change room because toilet problem.you could hear her over radio as servicemen try to explain they could not fix it without parts serviceman ask if she could move us,we wherein the room about 5min before calling front desk.she wanted to know if we had used anything in the room,we […] were there 5 whole min. you could hear her over radio all I HAVE IS A HANDICAPP ROOM very ugly,so we move into a room with shower not working not very clean and it smell bad. never again will I STAY THERE,IT WAS VERY COSTLY also. Staff was very professional. Front desk made check in very smoothe. Lots of parking.Enjoyed my stay ,will book again. A bit pricey for the location but I guess its just that time of year!

We stayed here at the last minute. We decided to come to the beach a day early and the hotel we booked was full. We had a clean room, friendly staff, and great continental breakfast.

Really happy to see the hotel was well cared for, quiet and clean. Our only disappointment was the nonsmoking room we had was surrounded by smoking rooms and the minute you got off the elevator your eyes would water and you would be nauseous. It was better after that first day, but maybe the smoking rooms could be together on the top floor and have […] more non smoking rooms on the lower floors. Mehr

This motel is across the street from Broadway at the Beach...where all the "happening" things are at Myrtle Beach these days. The service was great and the morning "make your own waffles" among other numerous breakfast items was very much enjoyed. We like that we can bring our family dog and have brought our dogs here in the past. There is plenty of […] grass to take your dog for a walk and has clean-up bags posted in convenient locations. I like that I am earning bonus points through Hotels.com while simultaneously earning points through La Quinta. Broadway at the Beach is within walking distance. It is right across the street. Mehr

We totally enjoyed our stay at your place last weekend. Only one problem. We were there for the Saturday Corvette Show across the street at Broadway. When we got up on Saturday morning the ground's keepers were out there running leaf blowers and making a total mess of our Corvettes. I know this sound's a little 'trivial' but why does this work need […] to be done on weekends when the occupancy is a lot more and the surounding activities are at their peak? Not a huge problem. We stayed here during a soccer tournament and couldn't be more satisfied. It is close to EVERYTHING and yet is relatively quiet. We loved the pool, the service was great...this is a great pic!
