One of the best hotels I have ever stayed, particularly in this category. All employees are extremely friendly, professional and committed, working hard to give the traveler the feeling of home away from home. Spacious, clean and well equipped rooms, great facilities, outstanding breakfast at more than reasonable price.

Das Hotel war ausgesprochen erfreulich. Beeinträchtigt wurde der Besuch zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur durch einen großen Umbau (Renovierung), der das gesamte Erdgeschoss zur Baustelle machte. Nachdem aber im Vorfeld deutlich darauf hingewiesen wurde und der Preis entsprechend angepasst, war dies kein wirkliches Problem.

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Stadt, 15 min. Zu Fuß nach Downtown Mitte. Das Hotel ist einfach, hat alles was man so braucht. Die. Zimmer sind alle neu renoviert und verfügen über zwei Räume mit jeweils einen Flachbildschirm Fernseher. Das Frühstück ist ein Continental Breakfast mit angegliedertes Küche, wo frische Eier aller Art angeboten wird. Zusätzlich Würstchen und Bacon, french Toast und Pfannkuchen. Im Allem kann man das Hotel mit guten Gewissen empfehlen, wenn man einen 3 bis 4 Sterne Hotel sucht. Kleines Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool und Sauna ist vorhanden, ist aber ein wenig schwierig hinzukommen, da es sich direkt im Erdgeschoss, neben dem Restaurant und Hotel Eingang. Ein Umziehen ist im Schwimmbad fast nicht möglich. Nach Benutzung kann man nass ins Zimmer gehen. Das Hotel verfügt noch über einen Fitnessraum mit modernen Geräten und einen freiverfügbaren PC-Raum mit 2 Arbeitsplätze, freien Internet, Drucker und Scanner. Ich kann das Hotel mit guten Gewissen empfehlen. Die Sanierungsarbeiten sind bereits zu 98% beendet. Shuttle zum Airport ist kostenfrei, muss aber bestellt werden.

Hotel ist optimaler Ausgangspunkt zu den Skigebieten von Salt Lake mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und aufgrund seiner Größe sogar einer gewissen Gemütlichkeit(Entfernung nach Snowbird etwa 16 Meilen). Inbegriffenes warmes Frühstück erstaunlich umfangreich und die Nachmittagscookies eine nette Geste.Trotz der- preisbedingten -Attraktion auch […] für kinderreiche Familien waren keine Störungen zu verzeichnen. "Hotel ok, aber!"
Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel ok, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück halt typisch 'american breakfast'. Einziges Manko, in dem Hotel gibt es einige Zimmer, in denen die Laufgeräusche aus dem darüber liegenden Zimmer zu hören sind. Als wenn jemand über Dielen geht, ein knarrendes Geräusch. In der zweiten Nacht war es so schlimm, […] Neuankunft im darüberliegenden Zimmer gegen 21 Uhr, dass wir erst nach Mitternacht zur Ruhe kamen. Im Gespräch mit dem herbeigerufenen Personal vom front desk stellte sich heraus, dass das dem Hotel bekannt ist, Mängel der Baufirma bei der Geräuschdämmung. "Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Umgebung"
Das Hotel Pavillon Inn wurde von mir ausgewählt weil es in der nähe einer Autobahn lag und die Innenstadt mit der S-Bahn zu ereichen war. Und genau so war es zu meiner Freude. Das Hotel selber war schon etwas älter aber alles war sauber.Das Zimmer war gross und mit zwei Betten ausgestattet. Zudem gab es einen Flachbildschirm, eine Kaffemaschiene mit […] Zutaten,eine Sitzecke einen Kühlschrank und ein grosses Badezimmer mit einem sehr guten Duschkopf in der Dusche. Das Hotel vervügt auch über einen Indoorpool und einen kleinen Wirlpool(max. 5 Personen). Ausschlaggebend für unsere Buchung war auch das kostenlose Frühstüksangebot des Hotels und es hat sich auch nach meiner Meinung gelohnt.Es gab unter anderem Rührei und Speck, warme Pfankuchen, Cerialien, Säfte und verschiedene Brötchen. Zudem wurde in der Lobby zu jeder Zeit Kaffe ,Tee ,Saft und Wasser kostenlos angeboten. Für mich von vorteil war auch die möglichkeit unser Wäsche zu waschen, was übrigens auch kostenlos war. Und zu meiner Freude wurde in der Lobby zwei Computer zur Verfügung gestelt, um E-Mails abzurufen oder Ähnliches, auch kostenlos. Wir waren drei Tage im Pavilon Inn und ich war sehr zufrieden, es entsprach meiner Vorstellung die ich mir aufgrund der Beschreibung gemacht hatte. Mehr

"Sehr schönes Hotel"
Wären gerne länger geblieben ... waren zu viert - Zimmer grosszügig. Sehr gutes Frühstück inkl. - Lage gut zu finden neben Interstate - aber Achtung - nicht in Gehdistanz zu Downtown, wie jemand geschrieben hat. Ist aber egal, da ja eh jeder ein Auto mit dabei hat.

This hotel was a great value for the money. The man at the front desk who checked me in was kind, helpful, and happy to do his job. More service industry workers need to be like him. The biggest thing I would change is the comforters on the bed and a bit of maintenance or updating. Also, there were some noisy hotel guests, but nothing out-of-control. "nice hotel not so good hotel room experience"
Hotel is nice and in a good location. The free breakfast is very good with a decent sized area for eating with a good selection of breakfast food. I seem to have had a not so good experience with my room however. For the hotel rating on Hotels.com, I would have thought my room would have been nicer. The bed was very uncomfortable and somewhat hard for […] my liking. The bedsheets appeared to be well used, thin and slightly tattered. The bathroom had a few issues as well. The tiles and ceiling had some mold, not a lot but nonetheless mold. The shower curtain had 2 to 3 tears in it. The nice white ceramic tub had 2 good sized black chips. The inside of the toilet was scraped up pretty good. Back to the hotel room, one wall was pretty banged up, and the furniture was dated and a bit banged up as well. I think a simple bit of cleaning and maintainence in that room would make it more comfortable to stay in. Not sure if I would stay at this hotel again based on my experience. "Better than the price reflects"
Clean spacious room with all you would expect of a room for the price. Breakfast was excellent!
It served the purpose for which I was there in Murray, Ut. My son-in-law is in the InterMountain Medical Center for a long term stay and the hotel iis the closest one to it and very satisfactory. They are quite friendly and strive to please everyone. Their breakfast is wonderful. I do wish there was a coffee pot in my room tho. There is a microwave […] and a refrigerator for which I was grateful. It is not a plush 5 star facility, but certainly adequate and clean. They have wi-fi and a computer in the lobby with a printer, which was very helpful. There is a pool and a laundry. It had everything I needed and am going to return again the next time I visit him and am reserving for other family and friends. Mehr

"Great bargain! Pool, gym and hot breakfast!"
Hotel was great: indoor pool, hot tub, nice exercise room, and hot breakfast. No information in room regarding services, pool, exercise gym and breakfast hours and check out time. I had to ask the front desk all of this information. Front desk was not very friendly but the price and amenities made the stay worth it. Would definitely come back.

Surprised by how nice everything is plus a great price. The pool is especially good, and the water is not cold like most hotels these day.

too noisy. You will nogt et any sleep. Need a car for restaurant. Great for uni students who want to come and go all night and talk on their cell phones and keep you awake

"The better deal..."
Let's get this out of the way. The Pavilion Inn is not a five star resort. But, for the price they offer (significantly less than the nearby Fairfield Inn), you get a wonderful breakfast with fresh cooked bacon, eggs, waffles, fruit and juices that you eat off real plates (not styrofoam or paper). You get a big, clean room with a big LCD TV and cable […] (sorry, no HBO), free WiFi and an indoor pool and hot tub. And you get a friendly, helpful staff (they wired me in with discounts on ski rentals and tickets as well as good places to eat). Highly recommended. Mehr

"In a bizarre location"
I knew where it was, I wasn't worried but it is definitely not somewhere I wanted to be in the dark. I went out to my car and was yelled at by some guys standing at their car by the back of the hotel. Next time I'll bring my husband when I go out to my car at 8 pm.

Not a bad place for the money. Breakfast was good. Remote was broken on the TV and the staff didn't do anything to fix it or make it right. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our family loved the full breakfast and the afternoon cookies. The pool was clean and warm. The staff was accomadating and friendly. We will stay here again.

Our room was filthy. The walls are paper thin. I will not stay again. This was our second stay. The hotel has gone down hill over the last couple of years.

Other than being able to hear things happening in the hallway it was a great place to stay. Wasn't too noisy but a little annoying. The morning breakfast was great!
"Good Value for money"
We stayed four nights to attend General Conference - it was about a 15 minute drive to downtown Salt Lake and located right off the I-15 and close to restaurants, a grocery store and a Walmart. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it had great value for the money, including lots of free amenities. Great free breakfast including bacon and eggs, free laundry […] facilities, free local and long distance calling, free internet, two lobby computers with free printing, free parking, a pool with 24 hr access (although the hot tub was not very hot, and the pool is fairly small, the pool was quite warm and a nice swim). There is coffee/tea/water in the lobby with free cookies in the evening. I found the large lobby stairs very convenient to our 2nd floor room, didn't need to use the elevator even once. If you are not looking for fancy but for convenient, comfortable and a good deal, this is the place to stay. Mehr

We had to find a hotel last minute & I liked the price & from the pictures it looked clean. We were real pleased with our stay. The gym equipment worked, the room was comfortable & the breakfast was great. Nothing real fancy here but it was clean & functional. I would come again.

"Room not cleaned"
We found wet wash cloths on the chair when we checked in. We don't think the bed linens had been changed from the last guest, we found hair and other things in the linens. In the morning we found a condom wrapper on the floor tucked under the foot of the bed. The room was noisy also, could hear the people upstairs. Will never stay here again.

This hotel has lots of extras with no charge. Best free breakfast buffet ever, free internet access and 2 computers in the lobby, free indoor pool & hot tub, free cookies. Nice hotel.
"Murray stay"
Our room was clean, spacious and quiet. The double beds don't seem to be queen size, which I wish they were. The room maid was very helpful & cheerful when we asked for laundry bags and provided them for us. The front desk reception was cold and not friendly. When we checked out we later discovered we had left our cell charger in the room. We returned […] and asked if it had been found. The clerk called and gave us a quick "no". My wife then went back and asked if we could check the room to see if it was still plugged in. The desk clerk called the maid, who did and found it where we thought it was. Another man followed us and said he believed his wallet was left in the room. Again, another call and "no". He had to ask to check the room also. Rate the desk clerks as disinterested in the guests welfare. First impressions are lasting ones. Mehr

Very nice place to stay for us. Close to what we came to do in Murray Utah and just the right price. We will use it again when in the area.

It isn't fancy, could have been a little cleaner, and the eggs are lousy, but I keep going back. It is a good location for me, the staff is very friendly and helpful, aside from the eggs an excellent breakfast, and overall a decent facility.
"Just right for us..."
We REALLY enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The price was right, the indoor pool and spa were just what we needed after a long drive and the breakfast was well attended to. We will use it again next trip.
"Pleasantly Surprised"
Older hotel, yes, but extremely well-maintained. Very clean, comfortable. Cookies, milk and coffee upon arrival. Pool area was immaculate, warm and inviting even in the cold of March. Breakfast was delicious and inviting. Would definitely recommend this charming stop to business and family travelers.
The only downfall about this hotel was that you could hear whatever was going on in the hall.

This hotel is a good value, and convenient for skiing at Alta, Snowbird, or the other Cottonwood Canyon resorts. It's only 15 minutes from the airport and SLC downtown, and 45 minutes to Alta. The rooms are pretty typical of something in the price range, though I liked the mattress better than most. Nice having a fridge and free wifi. Odd they only […] give you two pillows for a king bed, but we got more pillows on request. Not good for walking anywhere, in case that matters. Good selection of foods at breakfast, but the scrambled eggs wouldn't fool anyone, and yogurt would be nice. Mehr
"not bad bargain hotel"
The hotel has interior corridors which is nice. The pictures are just as they are. Old school bedspreads not triple layer sheeting I'm used too. But room was clean. For a night or two not bad. The pool was nice and breakfast is that typical serve yourself powder eggs. Biscuits and gravy and cereals and make it yourself waffles.
