Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 16. Feb. 2013Mich hat die zentrale Lage und der zum Buchungszeitpunkt günstige Preis angezogen. Der Service ist mittelmäßig. Die bis zu 3 Portiers langweilten sich am Eingang anstatt dem Gast beim Gepäck zu helfen. Die Concerges waren o.k.. Der Lift per Zimmerkarte gesichert und die Zimmer geräumig und leise und mit einem übergroßen TV ausgestattet. Bad könnte moderner sein. Parken sollte man besser in einem der zahlreichen Parkhäuser in der Innenstadt. Frühstück ist billiger und besser in einem der zahlreichen Coffeeshops oder Diner in der Umgebung.

Es gab ein Zimmer mit einer integrierten Küche, das Geschirr war sauber und Herd, MIcrowelle und Kühlschrank funktionierte einwandfrei! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Oregon fliegen, wird das sicher wieder unser Hotel! Wie in USA üblich, lässt die sich die Sauberkeit mit deutschem aber Standard nicht vergleichen, aber in diesem Hotel kam es schon sehr nah ran ;o) ! ! Es gibt kein Frühstück und der "Shop" ist nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es gibt einen Raum mit zwei PC´s die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Freies WLAN ist auch zu haben. Die Menschen an der Rezeption waren durchweg total supernett!! In fuläufiger Umgebung ist ein tolles Diner mit dem Namen Sharies, welches rund um die Uhr geöffnet hat. das haben wir leider erst auf der Rückfahrt entdeckt, empfehlenswert sind die Blueberry-Pancakes ;o)) Also, wer keinen Luxus erwartet, wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

Die war die ganze Nacht im Dauerbetrieb. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ganz ok. Das Frühstück war im Preis dabei und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut.

We found the bedding to be unchanged & dirty. The second time they cleaned, nothing was done to the bedding. Room was extremely crowded, no place to hang wet towels. Would never stay there again. First room assigned smelled like urine, so I asked for a different room. Desk clerk told me everything was booked and had to call the owner. The compact room looked freshly painted, granite counter top, tile floor in the tub/shower bathroom. Room was clean there was some stains on the chairs and some wear and tear on the furniture (nothing excessive), old style TV limited number of stations . The staff was very helpful with answering our questions regarding the various neighborhoods. Breakfast […] is coffee, OJ, toast, prepackaged muffins. We cooked our own oats in the room microwave. We selected this motel because refrigerator & microwave is in all rooms, good location, Trader Joe's & market across the street, easy freeway access. The motel is off of a busy intersection but there is a very quiet neighborhood 1 1/2 block away great for jogging or walking. The price of the hotel was a big factor I don't like to pay for things I don`t need. Rated 4 on surrounding area only because it`s by fwy & busy intersection, several other hotels on the block. We came from the east and there is no sign with the name. If I were not familiar with the area I might have driven by. It was not until we came back that night from west that I saw the sign. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only problems I had was the noise from others using their showers. Some next to us decided to take their […] shower at 11pm with it running for 20 minutes. Could barely hear the TV. When I went to register the reservation was not in my name. For some unknown reason, even though the print out from Expedia had my name, they had changed the first name to a guys name. Thankfully I had my printout and then they dug out theirs. "More than expected for the price paid!"
It's a very good room for the price. It's in a quiet environment with several other hotels around. It's very convenient to find a restaurants street few blocks a way. next to the motel there are some fast-food, convenience store and a starbucks. We are on a road-trip and find this place just to stay overnight. Noone is gonna come to bother during stay […] and check-in/out process is very easy. I had one concern when I checked in coz the guy at front didn't even ask for an ID, but last-name only. It's very easy to get on highway and very close to Portland too. It's not fancy and disappointed me initially, but the rooms were clean and neat. The beds didn't look great but were comfortable. The Internet was secured. It was a decent place to stay. Wifi worked fine. Close to stores and restaurants. It is kind of tucked off of the main road, but still just a short walk to fast food or sit down dining, and a strip mall area.
