Sehr zentral gelegen auf der Kleinseite. Ein wunderbar altes Haus in dem man sich nicht als Gast, sondern fast wie ein lieber Besuch fühlt. Sehr rührige und herzliche Besitzerin. Jederzeit wieder.

Der Hauptanziehungspunkt ist der gepflasterte Hauptplatz, auf dem sich das Jan Hus Monument, das Altstädter Rathaus mit seiner Astronomischen Uhr und die gotischen Kirchtürme der Teynkirche befinden. Hotel: Zufriedenstellend, gehobener Durchschnitt - Zimmer (Ausstattung und Zustand) blieben leider hinter unseren Erwartungen zurück. Vor allem durch den Internetauftritt wird der Eindruck erweckt, alle Zimmer seien besonders designed. Tatsächlich eher durchschnittliche Ausstattung, kleine Mängel in der Sauberkeit sowie einige Defekte, die eigentlich […] leicht zu beheben wären (kaputte Tapete und marode Vorhangbefestigung). - Sonst sehr schickes Hotel (Flure/Frühstücksraum wie im Internet), - Zufriedenstellender Service und tolles Frühstück (wird bis zuletzt aufgefüllt!). Lage: Einfach toll! - In SEHR belebter Fussgängerzone nahe dem Wenzelsplatz (Lärmbelästigung auch nachts nicht ausgeschlossen), - Fußgängerzone mit überwiegend gehobenen Geschäften & Boutiquen, - 10 Gehminuten zum Hauptbahnhof, - 5 Gehminuten zum Altstädter Ring, - 2 Gehminuten zum Wenzelsplatz. Romantisches Hotel, welches durchaus langsam eine Renovierung der Zimmer verdient hätte. Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut, freundliche Mitarbeiter, Nachts schön ruhig trotz Toplage. Deshalb sehr zu empfehlen.

"Zimmer hui, Service pfui"
Das Hotelzimmer war schön, wie im Bild gezeigt, und eigentlich auch gepflegt. Im Detail (im Bad) gab es aber schon ein paar Ecken, die besser gereinigt sein könnten. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte leider auch nicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für den Zimmerpreis (Ostern) recht spartanisch und für Vegetarier außer dem Müsli nicht geeignet. Meine schlechte […] Bewertung des Services beruht auf folgender Geschichte. Das WLAN im Zimmer (in der Ausstattungsbeschreibung des Hotels angegeben) funktionierte aus technischen Gründen seiten des Hotels nicht in unserem Zimmer, was der Dame an der Rezeption ziemlich egal war. Sie legte einfach während des Gesprächs auf und meinte, daß es bei ihr funktioniere. Als ich daraufhin an die Rezeption ging, um die Angelegenheit zu klären, schaute sie in meiner Hotelbestellung nach und meinte, daß ich dort ja schließlich nur "Raucher" angegeben hätte, nicht aber "WLAN". Also wäre es mir ja schließlich auch nicht wichtig. Glücklicherweise habe ich ein Bett im Zimmer gehabt - das habe ich ja auch nicht extra angegeben ;-) Als Fazit würde ich sagen, daß das Hotel eine super Lage hat, um alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Fußgängerzone ist direkt davor. Daher sollte man das Parken im Parkhaus einkalkulieren. Die Zimmer sind prima und ruhig. Aber für ein 4* Hotel sollten sie noch etwas beim "Kundenservice" lernen. "Ein gutes Hotel um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erobern."
Mein Mann und ich haben die Pfingsttage im Hotel Friday verbracht. Das Hotel liegt extrem günstig, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen, was aber im Gegenzug auch damit verbunden ist, dass man mitten in der Fußgängerzone ist, die abends unter Umständen (z.B. bei Veranstaltungen am Wenzelsplatz direkt nebenan) zu einer schier unerträglichen […] Lärmbelästigung führt. Läßt man die Fenster geschlossen, ist es zwar still, aber die Klimaanlage schafft es nicht, die Raumtemperatur auf ein erträgliches Maß runter zu kühlen. Die Nachtruhe ist also etwas problematisch. Andererseits bietet diese Lage dafür aber auch einen wirklich großen Vorteil zur Erkundung Prags. Man ist sofort zu Fuß überall, auch an einer der wichtigsten Metrostationen. Die Einrichtung des Hotels war sehr nett und ansprechend. Die Sauberkeit war bei Ankunft sehr gut. Leider hat aber das Zimmermädchen bei unserem Zimmer beschlossen Feierabend zu machen, sodass wir, als wir am Abend müde zurück ins Hotel kamen, ein unaufgeräumtes, dreckiges Badezimmer vorfanden, die Betten nicht gemacht waren und alles noch genauso rumlag, wie wir es verlassen hatten. Das im Voraus reichlich hingelegt Trinkgeld hatte sie jedoch eingestrichen. Die Rezeption entschuldigte sich zwar umfassend für dieses Ärgenis, war aber auch nicht in der Lage, vernünftig Abhilfe zu schaffen. Nach einer Stunde Wartens, brachte uns dann wenigstens der Koch (!) frische Handtücher. Das war das einzig wirklich ärgerliche Ereignis (abgesehen von der Lautstärke des Strassenlärms). Ansonsten haben wir uns in diesem Hotel wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es weiterempfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fanden wir etwas zu teuer, angesichts der Schwierigkeiten im Service, die bei der Bewertung doch zu Buche schlagen. Aber man zahlt wohl auch die Lage mitten in der Stadt bei diesem Zimmerpreis. Alles andere fanden wir an diesem Hotel aber durchaus gut. "Gutes und preiswertes Hotel in der Fußgängerzone"
Das Friday Hotel bietet für den angemessenen Preis eine hervorragende Lage und ausgezeichnetes Service. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Prager Innstadt sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, wenn auch etwas "altmodisch". Wer allerdings auf "Ostblockcharme" steht, wird sich im feudalen Salon wohl fühlen, der ein […] wirklich ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und im Preis inbegriffenen Tee und Kaffee den ganzen Tag über bietet. Nicht zu empfehlen ist das Hotel für Reisende, die mit dem Auto nach Prag kommen, da aufgrund der Lage in der Altstadt insbesondere der Fußgängerzone eine direkte Anfahrt und damit auch Parkmöglichkeiten nicht gegeben sind. Allerdings können Bahnreisende das Hotel bequem zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof erreichen. (ca. 10 Min. Fußmarsch) Persönlich kann ich das Hotel Friday auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Mehr

"Great hotel"
This hotel was perfect for us. We were a group of 3 each had our own beds. It was very clean and comfortable, had free wifi, and provided good breakfast. The location was awesome right in the middle of old town and new town close to all the sights and tons of shopping. The people at the front desk were also very nice and helpful. The location was fantastic as well as the breakfast. It is located right in the heart of all the action, shopping and restaurants. The room was right on the main street which was fun, but could get to be a little loud at night.

Nice and clean hotel. Pleasant receptionists speak English and very helpful. Rooms comfortable and warm (needed to be it was -10 when we were there). Breakfast was varied and more than adequate. Hotel is in a convenient location near to all major sights. Only disappointment was that there was no bar or lounge area where you could relax, so it was straight […] to the room after your day sightseeing. Good hotel in easy surroundings. Please note that it is very difficult to reach the hotel by Taxi, as they can only park about 200m away.
"Very dissapointed"
On our arrival to Friday Hotel my partner and I were expecting to be treated to a lovely room, as seen on the pictures on Hotels.com. However when we got to our room it was the complete opposite to the photos. It was ugly, outdated, dirty, and worst of all smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved to a room similar to the many photos […] online, but the reception lady was not very accommodating. She moved us to an even uglier, smaller room with slanted walls which we were very unhappy with. I'd also like to note that there was only one person working there the entire time so if you needed something brought to your room you had to get it from reception yourself. There was never a manager around and you had to move your own bags which is not like any 4 star hotel I've ever been to. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. It was very conviniently located close to the old town, museums, restaurants, bars.. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast good, diverse and plentiful.. No complaints at all, I would definitely choose this hotel for the next stay in Prague!

A small stylish, but basic hotel. Located very centrally, within easy walking distance of the Old Town square, the Charles Bridge, shops etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hot and cold breakfast buffet choice was very good. The hotel reception were very helpful.

Booked this hotel for a short Christmas break and it worked like a treat. Close to shops and Wencenlas Square. It looked nice at first but our room could have done with a little bit more care like some lights were not working and a couple of lamps failing. The wallpaper was pilling. Also because the bathroon had a skylight, we didn't have enough light […] at night making the shower usage impossible. There was also a drainage smell in the bathroom which was replaced by breakfast smell in the mornings. Overall great, friendly staff. I would still stay there again. Mehr

"Great Hotel in Prague"
Friday Hotel is perfectly situated between Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square and a metro stop. Our room and the hotel itself was nicely decorated and cozy. It has a fantastic continental breakfast and free WiFi was the cherry on top. If we return to Prague, we're staying here.

my wife and i had stayed in prague several times although we were out of the city,this time we wanted to stay in the city,even so we were impressed with the hotels location.1 minute from Wenceslas,3 mins old town sq just great to get around.breakfast was ok would have preferred tomatoes with cooked breakfast but thats just our taste, otherwise no complaints,if […] we do have a complaint it would be maintainence,we had to move rooms because the shower had to be held instead of fitting on the wall,the loo could do with a drop of bleach staining not nice.cracked mirror ect. the staff were very helpful had a good understanding of english and did all they could to make the stay pleasant.The room we had was very good, the bed huge,and comfy.,we did like under floor heating in the bathroom.we will be going to prague again next year. If your looking for a central place to stay that oozes chique hotel... stay here! The breakfast is great and the beds are comfy (and massive!) Location is perfect to see all sights. Your also right beside a metro station for easy access to sights and airport! A top choice for any occasion.

Its was a very nice hotel. It was locate in the heart of the old town square. Air conditioned rooms, real king size beds, and my favorite part was the breakfast. OMG! What an amazing selection for breakfast. Planning on going again next year, definitely staying there again.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Very good location. Clean and comfortable. I have to admit that the pistures looked a bit better than the reality. but in general everything was satisfactory. Very good breakfast buffet. Also kitchen was open 24/7 for tea/cofee which was nice.
