It was o.k. But you get what you pay for!!

Hotel was old and outdated. The best part of the hotel was the bed. It was a king bed very high up which decent sheets so I will give them that. If you just need a place to sleep and thats it then the value is there. But other than that I cannot say anything else positive. The TV was extremely faded and coloring was off, definitely needs to be thrown […] out and replaced. The bathroom was clean but very old. We could not get the A/C to run at night, but we were so tired, didn't want to waste any energy complaining to front desk since we were only there for one night and then gone first thing in the morning. I wouldn't recommend this hotel but if you really are on a budget then a night here won't kill you. Mehr

If all you are looking for in a hotel is a place to sleep and will not be in the room for anything but sleep, this is the hotel for you. My husband and I stayed here overnight because we went to 2 Brewer games back to back. The staff was nice enough when we checked in, I will give them that. The hotel was far from "up to date" in the decor, but wasn't […] "trashy" looking. The cleanliness could have stood improvement tho, as the hallway to our room was littered with a trail of Cheerios, the air conditioner in our room was covered in dust/webs, the sink had stains of some kind on it that I easily washed off, the room had a kind of closed up smell to it, and the bed didn't even have fitted sheets on it (just a regular sheet that kept falling off). They were generous with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and coffee/tea in the room tho. The bed was okay, little hard, but was good enough to sleep on overnight. Also, the toilet in our room was touchy, meaning sometimes it would just keep running after you flushed until you jiggled the handle and sometimes not. Overall, I would not return there, but it did serve the purpose we needed it to. Also it was right off a road that had many eating places nearby, which was also a plus. Mehr

This hotel was like a maze, trying to get in and out of our 2nd story room to the parking lot or to the lo by was quite complicated. The location was about 5 miles from downtown Milwaukee. It was clean and inexpensive. 3/5 stars :)

A nice place to stay if you are just loooking for a nice place to stay. The staff was very curtious and the breakfast was fulfilling. not the most luxurious hotel, but we were not looking for that.

If you stay here beware of the cock roaches (leave the lights on...it helps them stay in the walls), wiring that I think the county code department would be interested in, a/c decides when it wants to work, overall out-dated and has a musty smell.

I would never stay at this hotel again and it will make me think twice about staying at a days inn. I love every other days inn's that i have stayed at but this was a dump. The rooms were very dated and could have used some cleaning the room smelled like someone had smoked in it even though the entire hotel was smoke free. Two of us have allergies and […] this was not fun. The door down stairs had a rock holding it open that was never moved we came back late at night and there was no security because the other door not held open with the rock didn't need a key to get in which is a huge safety issue. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hotel. THere was no air conditioning at all and the fact that no outside door locked provided no safety. Granted for the cheap price I should not expect something great but this was by far the worst time EVER!

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the facility. Hallways were quite dirty, plants had shed leaves in the halls and none had been vac. up. The one bed in the room did not have a fitted sheet (was covered w/flat sheet) on the mattress and the bare mattress was exposed in places. The air conditioner leaked water and the carpeting was soaked […] by the side of the bed. Nothing to hold the curtain back over the air conditioner and it blew out over the side of the bed. The cont. breakfast was satisfactory. Upon checking out, the desk clerk was very obliging about giving us a small refund ($15) and didn't question our grievences. Would not choose to stay at this facility again. Mehr

We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, but all 3 rooms smelled of cigar smoke, BADLY!!!!!!!!!!

It was a nice stay just for a night, but probably no more than one.

House keeping staff was great,however in the middle of the night we saw roaches and left first thing in the morning and would never stay there again.you get what you pay for so im not that surprised, I do not want to blame this problem on the house keepers job though, this is managements problem! My room was always clean when I returned and they were […] always friendly.let's not forget its hot! Do not stay here in the summer,all the hallway a/c 's are broke and the room a/C's. We booked this hotel last minute when we decided to go to the Brewers game. The outside appearance of this hotel is misleading. It appeared to be in need of many repairs and I was apprehensive. The room was very clean and comfortable. The furnishings appeared to be something left over from That 70's Show but they were in very good condition I WOULD […] definitely stay here again. Hotel was in need of updating, but was not bad for the price. Located real close to Miller Park, Miller Brewery, and the Zoo. Was great for our purpose of a place to sleep. Was a nice Bar/Restaurant right next to hotel. I would stay again.

We stayed here for an Indycar race weekend at the Milwaukee Mile because it was close and relatively cheap. (Although I'm sure it's cheaper when there isn't a big event going on nearby. We got the best rate for race weekend through Hotels.com.) It was about what we expected for a Days Inn in West Allis. The room was a decent size, bed reasonably comfortable, […] standard amenities, very outdated decor and TV. Our only complaints were that 1.) The carpet was greasy, like they had shampooed it multiple times and there was a gross soapy residue permanently affixed to it. We wore flip flops whenever we were in the room. And 2.) When we first arrived the AC was broken. It was a super old unit with just one knob that we couldn't get to make the room any cooler. We called about it in the morning and were out for the full day. By the time we returned it was fixed. I also called to rent a fridge for $10, they brought that up while we gone and didn't end up charging us anything for it. Also, our room was missing an iron and ironing board at first. I called about it and they brought one to our room ASAP. Everyone at the front desk was nice and there was an okay continental breakfast. Mehr

This has to be about the worse hotel we have stayed at in years. Totally in disrepair from the parking lot to the eave troughs hanging down. The room itself was decorated in the 60's with light fixtures missing, roll-away style beds, original air conditioning units (rusty), dark wood cottage style features from the 60's and worse...so much anti-stain […] applied to the carpeting that the bottoms of our feet and shoes took days to get clean. The carpeting was actually slippery. They had coffee and doughnuts in the morning which was about the only good thing. Bachelor party down the hall from our friends room kept her up till 4:00 a.m. Never again! Mehr

Just this side of worth the money. Will probably pay the extra $16 for a nicer place next time. If all you need is a place for the night and are not picky, this could be your destination.

Seemed clean at first. Beds and shower were decent and it was quiet and no wierd smells. The place is in need of some updating, but everything worked. In the morning my daughter found crumbs and long black hair under her pillow, none of us has black hair.

This hotel is very old and falling apart. It is as clean as it can be for being so old. The sheets were clean and the bed was fine. It is just old.

Hotel is rather old and some areas smelled musty. Our room at check in did not have working AC and we had to ask to be moved. We asked for a coffee service in the room and it was not provided during our stay. The ice machine for the wing we stayed in was not working properly and there was always water on the floor. The breakfast area of the lobby was […] not well stocked each day we were there. Very limited access to our room block, where only one door in and several others exit only - made access to/from our vehicle inconvenient. No elevator to second floor where our room was. Mehr

The hotel was definately run-down with lots of wooden paneling - even in the bathroom. There are no regriderators in the hotel room. It rained during the night of our stay (not very hard rain) and the roof leaked. It leaked enough to soak the carpet and end of the second bed in the room. Luckily our things were not in the area of the leaks (4 in total). […] The front desk was notified and did not seem to care too much. A portion of our rate was refunded by the hotel, a flat rate determined by the manager via phone. Customer service was not that great considering the situation. Mehr

Hotel enterance was not appelling, First room, carpeting was wet from leaking air conditioner, second room air conditioner was like sleeping with a semi running in the room. At check out no reciepy was given and was not asked how our stay was. I would rate this hotel in the minus catagory.

Breakfest would be better if available at 6am

The place was okay. Outdated, cramped, and the segway was wierd at best. A glassed in former outside walkway. It was okay till the smokers were too lazy to go outside and smoked the place up. There was no ventalation.

ac is old and motel is rundown

Stayed 1 night, better than expected for the price. Nothing fancy but a good place to catch some sleep.

This property was terrible! It was not clean, the fixtures were broken, the linens were old and smelly. What a terrible experience!

The room was decent but the appearance of the hotel was that of a cheap one and it looked shady. Nothing special about the inside of the room but it served the purpose for a quick convenience stay.

The best thing about the room was the ceiling, is was dark wood and beams, and had the feeling of a cozy cabin. The rooms come with a local white pages, not yellow pages, and I had to call the front desk for a yellow pages to get a local restaurant guide.
