"Grandioser Ausblick auf Meer und Strand"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 17. Okt. 2012Wir hatten ein großes Appartement mit 2 Schlaf-und Badezimmern im 11.Stock zur Meerseite und fanden es toll. Die Anlage mit mehreren Pools und Gärten hat uns gut gefallen. Im Oktober war es nicht zu voll.Das Frühstück im Restaurant gegenüber war auch sehr zu empfehlen. Das Zentrum war einige Gehminuten entfernt, aber nicht zu weit.Insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten ein sehr kompfortables, gut ausgestattetes Hotelzimmer (Kühlschrank, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine) mit Meerblick. Zum Strand ist es nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Der Pool des Hotels war zwar nicht ganz so groß, aber dadurch dass das Hotel nur wenige Zimmer hat, war es nie überlaufen. Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, dass es nur wenige Bars und Cafés in unmittelbarer Strandnähe gab. Wer also abends noch ein Bier am Strand trinken wollte musste sich mit einem einzigen Restaurant (Mango Bar) zufrieden geben. Ansonsten musste man 10 Minuten bis zur Hauptstraße laufen. Auch ist ein Auto nicht verkehrt wenn man sich in dem Hotel aufhält, da die meisten Attraktionen fußläufig schwer zu erreichen sind. Wer allerdings einen entspannten Strandurlaub mit einem wirklich fast schon familiär geführten Hotel genießen möchte, ist in diesem Hotel genau richtig.

"Super schöne Lage"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Mai. 2012Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und direkt am Strand. Für Kinder ist ein toller Wasserpark vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas alter aber trotz alle dem sehr sauber. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir freuen uns schon auf einen neuen Besuch.

"Good hotel over all but had several issues...."
Overall, the hotel was good. The breakfast was cold some mornings especially the eggs. The room next to mine was smoking and had the entire floor smelling like cigarettes and weed. Most of the reviews I read mentioned the Gentlemen's Club next door. Please do not let that sway your judgement when booking at this hotel. The club is next door. However, there wasn't any loud music or obscene behaviour in the parking lot nor the hotel that stemmed from the business next door. The staff was exceptional nice and cordial. The breakfast […] was awesome. The hotel is approximately 3 miles from the beach but its a straight shot to the beach and shopping is within minutes of the hotel. "Not too pleased."
The room they sent us to was full of cigarette smoke smell all over the room that was supposedly a non smoking room. Had to ask for a different room. Carpet was clean but dirty looking. We have stayed at this Country Inn before and have always been satisfied with the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. Not every hotel at Myrtle Beach has a free breakfast and it is nice that this one still does. It was in high season so the hotel was totally booked. Although understanding the hotel was at capacity the breakfast food was removed each day some 30 minutes or 20 minutes before it was suppose to be closed. The front desk allowed one to access a computer for airline booking which was very helpful, and the room was quite where one used the computer. […] The room was clean and adequate but the mattress was too soft which caused a minor back problem for several days. "Not happy"
I never write a review but was so waiting to do this. First the hotel room and pool look nothing like pictures. I should have stayed at a cheaper hotel at least I wouldn't have expected much. The pool was ice cold the hot tub didn't work and remind you look NOTHING like pictures I am very upset with Expedia and hope they get better pictures.Oh and 2 […] strip clubs near hotel one next door lol. The person cleaning the room never refilled or cleaned everything I cleaned during my stay;) thanks;) the hot tub was messed up more like a warm bath jets sprayed you and sure didn't relax you. My best advice to you spend more money on a better hotel or less on one and expect nothing. Oh and the toilet needs fixed you shouldn't have to shake the handle everytime you go to the bathroom. We will never stay at hotel again and will make sure next time we plan trip sooner so we can get a nicer hotel. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

A very nice place to stay. They were very accomodating for our stay booking short notice. Food was ok...not great but definately clean and edible. The bedding and towels were always clean. Close to everything in Myrtle Beach!Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

The breakfast was acceptable, however the waffle station should have been placed separately from the rest of the food. It held up the line if you were not getting waffles. The gentlemen that checked us in was exceptional. House keeping was unbelievably poor. We checked in on Thursday and housekeeping did not come to our room until Monday. Every day […] we had to go to the front desk for wash clothes, towels and toiletries. We had to empty our own trash which resulted in a big black trash bag outside of our room for 3 days. We constantly told the front desk that not one was cleaning our room, emptying trash, removing dirty towels etc. they were apologetic but our room still did not get cleaned until I told the front desk on Monday that this is not acceptable. Only then three housekeepers with attitudes came to clean our room around mid day and did a poor job. This was by far the worse experience I have ever had with a hotel. It was close to the beach, restaurants and stores. There was even a self-serve carwash around the corner that gave five minutes for only two dollars. We don't get that much time where I live. The staff was very nice and welcoming. When we got there are room wasnt all the way ready. We couldnt take a shower and relax because our towels and wash clothes werent clean. We had to wash with our hands for 1 of the 3 nights we stayed. Few hours later we got towels but no wash cloth. We really like Country Inns and Suites, and this location was very true to our expectations. We travel with my son, who is in a wheelchair, so room size and comvemience is very important. We had more than enough room for the chair, and walking room. The beds are comfortable, though the heavier duveted comforters would be more appropriate for colder […] climates. There were plenty of pillows, plus an extra pillow and blanket in the closet. The room had a generously sized refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a safe. The bath was roomy with lots of towels. A pool, jacuzzi,and exercise room on the first floor, as well as a business center for those who need to keep in touch. All in all, a nice facility.
