Super von A bis Z ! Klasse Hotel, sehr schöne und geräumige Zimmer. Kein Spannteppich, was ich sehr schätze. Komfortable in jeder Hinsicht. Auch da Restaurant ist super. Sehr freundliches Personal.

We had a great time at Hotel 71. The service was excellent and all the staff were very helpful. The Hotel is very modern and the amenities were great. My only complaint was there was a humming noise in the room, very noticeable at night. I asked about this and they said it was due to the ventilation and very kindly offered ear plugs. I would without hesitation recommend Hotel 71 - it was a great location for a couples getaway. The location is very convenient to the arts and historic districts, easy access to the river, and heaps of restaurants to chose from. The conceirge service (particularly Max) was top notch and really helped us get the most out of our stay, providing restaurant […] recommendations, making bookings, etc. without fuss or pressure. We are older travelers (60 plus)n and I found the bathroom floors very cold, it would be really appropriate to have heated flooring. The hotel is well located, clean, and very cozy. The ambience is contemporary, but very warm; you never feel out of place. The staff is fantastic. They go well out of their way to accommodate and assist you. The Concierge service is superb; they are very knowledgeable and helpful. At the time of our booking, we had informed the hotel that we are visiting […] Quebec City to celebrate our anniversary. When we got there, we were told that knowing we were there for a special occasion, they have upgraded our room to a suite for free! What a great gesture of caring for the customer. The room was spacious and cozy with a great view of the St. Lawrence river. It has hardwood floor, and a separate sitting area with an extra TV and receiver there which we used off and on when we came back to the room to relax. We asked the receptionist the distance to the cinema in St-Foy to watch the movie The Hobbit. Without us asking her, she researched whether the movie was playing there in English or not, realizing that we spoke English only. She saved us from a couple of hours of agony. She referred us to their Concierge desk where the people were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had breakfast only one of the two days we were there and we found it to be awesome. With boiled eggs, bagels, cereals, bread, cheese, meat, juices and coffee (and much more), it was very wholesome. The valet parking is totally worth it for $21/day. Mehr

Initially dissatisfied with our room (it was far to small to accommodate 3 adults for which it was booked), the staff dealt with it efficiently moving us to a more comfortable room for our first night's stay and then to another room at Auberge St Pierre for the second night. In addition to being located in the best part of town,the staff is outstanding. They sent a valet to the ship terminal to pick up our cruise supply of luggage and deliver it directly to our rooms. They looked after our every need including having a cool refrigerator in our room for my meds.

Extremely comfortable and quiet hotel near the waterfront that offers all conveniences. Great staff and on-site Italian restaurant make this a place to stay for one's next visit. High ceilings offer spaciousness not found in most hotels, and non-carpeted floors mean no carpet odors. Large bathroom makes it all the more luxurious.

The hotel has an excellent location near museums, bars, restaurants and shops. It is close to the funicular to take you up to upper town. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a very high ceiling and very nice modern bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful .

very nice hotel sleek and modern. service was extremely fast (they almost arrived before I called). the location and view (6 floor) are amazing. it is baby and kid friendly. if you are traveling with a baby, please be advise that 2 bedroom suites have only a standup shower. if you want a bath, then you need to take a one bedroom.

This is a very nice hotel in lower old Quebec City. The location is close to the water front. The staff was great great but could not seem to resolve the issue with the air conditioning not functioning.

Function was sacrificed to style in the rooms. A beautiful place and a great staff, but the room was lacking in basics. There was no stand for suitcases, so we had to keep ours on the floor. Lighting in the room was terrible--this was easily the darkest hotel room I've ever seen! There was no place to plug in a laptop without unplugging the phone or […] (only) desk lamp. We are encouraged to reuse towels in order to save energy, but there was nowhere to hang a damp towel so we had to leave our towels on the floor every day. There is also no latch on the bathroom door (by design). Whoever designed this room should be made to stay in it for a day or two. Mehr

Hotel staff were excellent especially with a van load of baggage, boxes, equipment cases and storage containers taking care to move valuables from car to room and same on departure. Even offered to fill up our coolers with ice when leaving. The reviews were spot on & the reason for our 2-night stay there. We enjoyed an early morning the bike ride & that too was a bonus. The location was perfect & we were glad to be in the lower town vs. upper where it seemed too touristy. The hotel area is very quaint & a perfect place to stroll around & walk to restaurants.

If you want the flavor of the upper city, stay in the upper city.In any case, if you stay here the upper city is a great walk up or you can go via funicular. I love the comtemporary decor of the hotel. Its so modern and up to date. The hotel location is so close to all the main attractions and I can just park my car at the hotel. The rates for the hotel was reasonable and is totally worth it.

This is a very pleasant well-run boutique hotel. The staff is exceedingly pleasant and very helpful. Restaurant recommendations were very good. The positive reviews we read before choosing the hotel were accurate and if we return to Quebec City we would certainly stay here again.
