Als Airport Hotel nach einem langen Flug bestens zu empfehlen

Mit dem Shuttle Service des Hotels alle halbe Stunde kommt man gut zur Blue Line und in ca. 1 Std. nach Downtown. Chicago ist eine super City. Das Hotel liegt in der Naehe Airport, was kein Problem ist. Bald soll hier nebenan ein Casino entstehen. Da wird die Umgebung sicher attraktiver. Im Moment liegt es etwas abseits.

This hotel has a pilot program with adjustable-firmness pillowtop mattresses. There are also a wide variety of pillows. Shuttle service from Ohare took a while, due to Ohares central shuttle system, but the driver was friendly, and the announcements for the shuttle to Ohare were clearly audible throughout the very nice lobby/restaurant/bar/reception […] area. Well-stocked shop for snacks right behind front desk. Breakfast not cheap but definitely worth it, with omelettes, pancakes, and french toast cooked to order, and decent fruit selection. Restaurant also good food, not cheap, but not bad for the price. Some rooms look over the sanding depot for the highway service...probably loud in the winter with snow clearing vehicles backing up...but the windows keep all sound out. Pool area looked nice, mostly for kids, some hot tub possibility, decent hour (til 11 pm, from 6 am). Was too jet-lagged to try it out. Overall very much worth the price. Have paid more for much less value in the Chicago area (Magnificent Mile, especially). Go to the pizzeria Giordanos in the neighborhood for really good deep dish Chicago pizza. Mehr

Great location, pretty room settings. The only negative thing I wanna say is that free wifi reception could be poor in some rooms. Buti definitely would recommend this hotel.

The front desk is as helpful and friendly as it gets. The room was great, parking is free and spacious, and the price was right. We went for the ACEN which was only a few minutes away. Nice pool. nice hotel. Loved the location. Walking distance to the casino was so convenient. Also liked that during late night you have to use your key to get into the hotel.

Hotel served its purpose. Bathroom was disappointing, no fan, steamed up quickly and no other area with mirror to do hair and makeup while others showered. Paid extra due to having four people in room yet only had towels for three, coffee for one pot, and only two cups. Nice place, close to the casino, with walking distance. The restaraunt was a little expensive for what you got.

We loved the kid pool at the hotel. It was perfect for our 21/2 and 4 year olds to play without needing to have someone hold them the whole time. It was very clean and seemed well maintained. The location was an easy drive into the city so it was great for our family.

We had a very nice 2 night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Des Plaines, IL. The only minor problem we had was that housekeeping neglected to vacuum our room after we had had pizza in the room the night before. Not that we're super messy but we had our 6 yr old grandson with us and crust crumbs did get all over the floor by our eating area. We had left […] for the city early the next morning and did not return until after supper time. The room had been made up and cleaned nicely except no one bothered to run a vacuum cleaner at all. I made mention of it to the front desk clerk and they apologized and said they would have it taken care of. When we returned the room had been vacuumed properly. All in all, a minor problem, it would not stop me from staying there again in the future. The pool area is very nice with a hottub and also a children's pool. Mehr

Seriously - I've stayed at a lot of hotels in the $50-$175/night range. This is one of the best values out there. The customer service was exceptional. They are SO pleasant and accommodating. Gym with brand-new, great cardio equipment. Fresh baked cookies. Free parking. Free shuttle to anywhere in Rosemont including other hotels. Free internet. Great […] place to stay if you have exams/meetings around there or are catching a flight. Newly renovated and great staff morale. A little noisy with kids for the kids pool (see pics) - but not bad. The Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located to O'Hare airport and public transportation options, and offers a free shuttle to and from O'Hare. The shuttle driver, hotel staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant selections are many, and the food is good. We really enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Both myself and my girlfreind found the rooms comfortable and inviting. My only issue with the room was that we could not seem to keep the room temperature at a comfortable level; it was either too warm or too cold.

The service of hotel is really good, and the place is very convenient.

There was construction in the lobby going on a 3am. It was a bit disturbing. Otherwise, our stay was overall satisfactory.

Friendly desk personnel and shuttle driver Carmen. DIning area was tight fitting. Lobby looked like there was some revisions being done.

I used this hotel for a stopover to break up a 35 hour trip and although the weather was cold and wet the hotel was great. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The noise factor was zero and the amenities good. I had an evening meal at the hotel and the food was good, staff were extremely helpful and overall was a good experience. They even […] provide free valet to and from the airport and the drivers were very helpful. The casino is just down the road and I can't comment on the surrounding area as I slept most of the time I was there but if I had a stopover in Chicago in the future I would most definitely stay there. I really like this hotel. It's one of the few that has free parking, a very good free breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms, free wireless, and good service. I don't use the pool but it looks adequate. We enjoyed the pool - our 2 young children LOVED the kids' play pool. Perfect for young kids. But, our room smelled like cigarette smoke - BAD! Hard to sleep in there. When we complained the next morning, the employee was apologetic, gave my kids a treat from the concession. Although she was very nice, we decided to put in a formal complaint. They made […] it right. ALSO- we were supposed to get breakfast buffet coupons with our room, which we did not get. I took 8 people to Mexico with me and we flew out of O'Hare. Hilton Garden Inn is a 5 minute shuttle ride to the airport. Just call them when you return and they are there in 10 minutes, loading your bags and taking you directly to your car. I have stayed here many times and have NEVER regretted it! Its quiet for sleeping too.

The hotel was very nice to stay in but the parking was awful. But I must say that I couldn't find a place to park and I talked to the front desk and the gentlemen moved his car so I could have his spot. I found this to be very polite and understanding. I will %100 go back.

If you are a college kid and want to party don't come here because they will charge you 50 bucks to clean up after you. Other than that nice place. Would recommend for anyone who is mature!

We stay here every Christmas visiting family. Friendly staff, clean rooms and reasonable price.

This Hotel is a very fine Hotel and very conveniently located at the Airport. There is a shuttle to and from and the breakfast is wonderful. I had to leave early and got breakfast to go with plenty of fresh fruit,muffins etc. Would stay there again for sure. HENRI from Canada

The room was nice and clean, bit cozy though. The hotel staff were helpful and shuttle bus was useful, 2 times an hour (like 10:00am, 10:30am) without reserve. My kids enjoyed the train ride even it takes 42 min. to downtown. And hotel insidepool was good. There's a toddler friendly water park and jet bath too. This is a gem, convenient to O'Hare. The service was Hilton style dispite it being a lower rate hotel. I had dinner at the restaurant and again, it is Hilton service with no shortcuts. Will stay again! Great wait service.

Great staff! Bus runs 24hrs/day to the hotel. Pick-up is across the street from the airport Marriott. Parking for 10 days was $50.

Traveling with a pet - we were picked up promptly, and the driver was a great help with the large crate! Nice, clean, quite room - pet friendly staff. Room service was a nice option, and the food was good. I would stay here again.

Great hotel. Stay here all of the time - can't beat the location and the rates. Extremely clean. Very friendly staff.

We only stayed one night, I didn't realize till we pulled up the new Casino was next door. Not a gambler but we walked to the Frog Bar restaurant from the hotel. Didn't need shuttle, chose it also because of free parking unlike other hotels we saw. Don't have young ones but noticed a fun looking pool/water play area for kids inside the hotel.

No jacuzzi in room. Even though there was a jacuzzi picture and The amenities said there was a jet tub

The hotel had superb service and very convienient 24-hour Shuttle service
