The hotel itself nod bad, but in a very noisy place. Never take buildings right at the road/freeway - impossible to sleep, let alone if neighbors watch TV or going back and forth at night. TV is very outdated, the quality of picture, sound very bad. And do not expect Internet working, it took 3 times help management to connect, and then every time stopped […] working in 5 minutes. "Very good for price"
I got a room as a deal for about $40.00 including tax and service charges. The layout is a bit strange, but the staff was friendly and the room looked very nice. My only complaint about the actual room was that the pillows were not that comfortable, and there were only 3, even though I specified that 2 people would be staying there. The location is […] a double edged sword because even though it's great that it's close to the highway and gas stations and food, you also have to deal with occasional loud road noises. It wasn't too bad however, and I would suggest this motel to anyone staying in Kingman. Thankfully it was warm enough to swim when I went, and I was able to enjoy the pool by myself. We were looking for an easy, cheap place to stay to break the drive between the Grand Canyon and LA, and hoped such a place could also be clean and nice. The Knight's Inn in Kingman met all our requirements and then some: surprisingly quiet for how close it is to the highway, staff were polite, attentive and friendly, the room was large and clean and […] had a fridge and microwave (and plenty of blankets and towels), there was free wireless, free continental breakfast (which we missed) and free coffee available even after official breakfast time was over. Faucet stopper of sink has issues as soon as we enter, it took 20 to 30 minutes, to get it fixed by few visits from two people. And most of the plugs are off from the wall plug. I have to turn-on myself. Otherwise all are OK from room side. "Don't stay!"
The carpets were dirty, the room stank, the air conditioner worked. It was extremely noisy. The sheets and blankets were scratchy, the comforter nappy and thin, and the mattress was hard with springs. We learned from a neighboring business that the water would be turned off before we could return to our hotel room for shower due to local construction. […] The front desk did not advise us of this. We got the service which we didn't expect to get for the price. It exceeded our expectation. The room was very spacious with a king-size comfortable bed, fridge and microwave in the rrom. We had a little problem finding it because of signage. And had to wait forever to use rhe pool being cleaned during guest use hours. And we were harassed to check out well before check out tims. This couldn't be more convenient to the highway (US40) They still haven't changed their sign from the Silver Queen to the Knight's Inn. We had stayed their previously so we knew where it was.
