Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alles rundum prima. Hervorzuheben ist der ausgezeichnete persönliche Service. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist toll. Lediglich die Entfernung zum Stadtzentrum, die einen Transport mit dem Taxi erfordert, ist ein kleiner Nachteil.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service bei der Ankunft. Wir benötigten ein weiteres Zimmer und konnten vor Ort zu einem angemessenen Preis nachbuchen. Die Zimmer waren von der Ausstattung her besser und größer als erwartet, sehr sauber und technisch in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich exakt auf das gewünschte Raumklima einstellen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, in Flughafennähe leicht nach zu vollziehen, die Geräuschdämmung der Zimmer. Beide Zimmer lagen in Richtung zum nahegelegenen Airport. Durch die effiziente Doppel-Fenster Verglasung war eine ruhige Nacht garantiert . Insgesamt: Sollte man für wenig Geld in der Nähe des Airports London Heathrow wohnen wollen, mit dem IBIS London Heathrow kann man nichts falsch machen.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Radisson Edwardian Guildford. Es ist ein sehr neues Haus und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind höflich und zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit, besonders zu erwähnen ist Jenni (Rezeption). Nach unserer Ansicht die beste Mitarbeiterin des Hauses. Trotz sehr starker Erkältung stand sie uns mit Ratschlägen und immer freundlich hilfsbereit zur Seite. Zu bemängeln ist die Klimaanlage des Zimmers, die doch recht laut ist. Da auch die Raumtemperatur darübergesteuert wird, hört es sich so an, als wenn alle paar Minuten ein Haartrockner eingeschaltet wird, sodass man nachts die Raumtemperatur nicht nur absenkt, sondern ganz abschaltet.
Lage
Millennium Madejski Hotel Reading in Reading befindet sich in erreichbarer Nähe zum Tagungszentrum in der Nähe von Madejski Stadium, University of Reading und Reading Abbey Ruins. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Progress Theatre und St. Giles-in-Reading Church.

"What a Celebration!"
Room 360 - fantastic floor to ceiling windows....felt like a penthouse suite. Stayed overnight whilst watching the football and seeing my team win the title. Beds are little on the hard side, but very comfy rooms and great wet room/shower and his and hers basins.

"3 Points and a relaxing chilled night"
Awful traffic on the M25 which meant got to the hotel 10mins from kick off. We requested floor 5 and we were issued the same room as last stay..brilliant....the only downside is that the beds are on the hardside.....great for sitting on and watching TV, but a firmer than we like. Hotel room spotless and the bathroom is lush! Royals easily beat Brighton […] too ...so thank you RFC and Madejski Hotel .. for a great post xmas stopover Mehr

The staff were really friendly, the room was fantastic, it was a standard room but really big with a huge full length window. The breakfast was excellent. Stayed here previously and will definetley stay again in the future.

"Millenium Madjeski Hotel - Reading"
Stayed here for my birthday and watched the Royals vs Doncaster. Lovely room on top floor (5) overlooking reading skyline. Comfy room with 2 comfy beds and great bathroom. All the usual expected. Great bargain via hotel.com and even better Reading (Royals) won ...and it took me all of 5 mins to get back to the room. Didnt use restaurant for dinner/breakfast […] as headed to the Oracle Sta night and Mcdonalds for brekkie - 5 mins around corner. Mehr
"Not all it should be for the price/star rating"
I've stayed here a few times and had variable experience. This time not so good. There was a dirty or stained (not sure which) left in my bathroom and the toilet seat was not properly cleaned. I was served a glass of white wine that was not properly chilled and had clearly been open for three days or more. The duvet was thin and patchy and the bed […] had been badly made (sheets and duvet cover all wrinkled up and twisted). I pointed out the bathroom issues when I checked out because i hadnt checked in til gone 9pm and didnt want to wait up for houekeeping to come and rectify. They apologised but made no concession on my bill. The Hilton is far better. Mehr
"The most comfy bed in the world!"
My boyfriend and I had been at the Reading festival all day and were exhausted when we got to the hotel (It was very easy to drive to and plenty of parking which was free for hotel customers!!). We saw fellow festival goers outside with bowls of water and brushes provided by the hotel for everyone to clean up before coming in. (we didn't need it as […] we'd changed out of our wellies beforehand). We walked in and was met with a smiley friendly face of the man behind the desk, who checked us in, in a record five minutes!! We went to the room and it was a great size, with complimentary toiletries (unlike nowadays where you get liquid soap in a dispenser bolted to the wall), there were magazines to read, tea and coffee making facilities......The only bad point was there were no biccies! :o) The bed was like a little slice of heaven placed centrally in the room.....honestly it was soft enough to sink in. ....It definately is one of, if not, THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in....as soon as our heads hit the pillows we were asleep!! I didn't look to see what make the bed/mattress was and now I wish I had, I've even contemplated ringing the hotel up and asking!!! :o) Check out is at 12pm which in this day an age is bloomin' marvellous as we got chance to laze in the comfort of THAT bed!! :o) Mehr

Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, car parking was good and there was an overflow car park which was secure. Decided not to eat in the restaurant purely due to being over priced. Leisure facilities were good but kept breaking down during our stay i.e hot tub and swimming pool temperature. Overall good hotel and would stay there again.

We stayed in a family room which had two double beds. The room was very clean and the bathroom immaculate. Front desk were very helpful and even went as far as to print out a map and directions to Thorpe Park for us. There was a football match on the Saturday which didn't bother us as we were out for the day. However on our return later that day, you […] wouldn't even have known a match had taken place as the surroundings were clean and tidy. Very good value for money and would stay there again. Mehr
"Hotel for family weekend break"
Hotel was great and we used it because of it's proximity to Legoland and Chessington. The hotel was fine, but it is not the best surroundings (beside the Reading football ground in an out of town estate). A 5 minute taxi ride to town, but very close to M25. Hotel was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was easy to find as well signposted. Staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Room was well maintained and reasonable size.

"Relaxing break"
Fantastic check-in staff who, at my cheeky request!, gave us a different room to that booked and ensured there were robes in the room. Had a great massage in the spa and then had the pool and jacuzzi to myself for 90mins as a quiet weekend. Was lovely, quiet and relaxing.

Excellent service and facilities. Room comfortable, good space, good entertainment system with special (low) prices on movies. Internet expensive (which seems to be compulsory in all 4 star hotels). Enjoyed the use of the pool (complimentary) at the health spa next door. Location as a little isolated, but felt safe. We had a car (free self parking) […] which didn't make location an issue. By car, everything was relatively close.Found it a very good base for touring the Cotswolds, Oxford, Windsor etc. Picked a room rate at last minute rates which made this excellent value. Must return. Poor reception was a real let down as my partner had to be in touch with the office via email. Would not be able to choose the hotel again for lack of contacts from work via mobile phone or blackberry - appeared not only affecting orange network but also O2.

At the hotel we have not heard of this problem before and have checked all areas of the hotel and currently appear to have reception for o2, Orange and Vodafone networks. "Reading Festival!"
Trevligt hotell som har bra priser väldigt mysiga rum och vänlig personal. 3e raka året som vi bott där pga av Reading Festival och måste säga
