The staff were excellent at this hotel. So friendly and willing to help with anything. This included changing out Scottish money for English (we were told some places may not except it). We were given extra pillows when we requested them. My only complaint would be the bathroom. It was so small and as it had a wetroom style floor, everytime we had showers […] the whole floor was like a swimming pool. The shower area was tiny and there was no room for movement. If you lifted your arm and knock the shower it would turn off. For our 2 night stay it was bareable.However if we had been staying longer it may have been more of an issue. Overall a great hotel with excellent staff. Mehr

The Dolby Hotel Liverpool is situated on the water front a stone throw from The Albert Dock a 10 minute walk from City Centre, or £5.00 taxi fee. The Hotel was clean and tidy with the room being reasonably comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful at a very reasonable price. Liverpool boasts a Great Shopping area for […] those who want to shop, with some great attractions if you like the Beatles,Football and the City has a wealth of history. Night life was great with plenty of good Historic Pubs to visit at reasonable prices, despite all the banter Liverpool recieves as being rough, we found it a great place to stay and the natives very very friendly( towards the Welsh atleast). My partner and I had a great short break in Liverpool and stayed at the Dolby Hotel. The room was fine- clean and had T.V., coffee making facilities and a good view of the Albert Docks. The bathroom was a large cubicle but was adequate and clean. The breakfasts (not included in our stay) were very nice and the dining area was on the waterfront side […] of the hotel. The Dolby Hotel was sited near to a casino but we had no extra noise from this and it was only a 5 or 10 minute walk to the Docks, cinema and new shopping area. Saturday night was quite noisy due to the hen night and wedding season, but the rest of the time we were there it was quiet. Mehr

This hotel was good value, and close to the city centre. Breakfast was also good value and they took note of particular requests. .Room was compact, but had all you need for a short stay including internet access. Interesting retro style shower room. Multitasking staff were friendly and helpful. I would recomend this hotel with no hesitation.

Very much a budget hotel but in a convenient location for Albert Dock area of Liverpool. Welcome and service by the very young staff was a tad surly. Room was clean but basic. En-suite was very small with a shower of the kind where you're fighting the shower curtain as it clings to you! It was very noisy throughout the night with constant comings and […] goings. Even had a knock on my door at 4am by a youth that had gone to wrong room number. There was a security chain however so felt I could open door as I was a lone female. A friend of mine was staying in the Premier Inn which for the little bit extra cost was far superior. Wish I'd done the same! Mehr

Best thing about this hotel are the staff very friendly and helpful, rooms are very small and the toilet/shower are so small do not bring a cat to swing!!!

Hotel isn't as far from the city centre as expected, less than a 10 min walk from the main bus station. However, that's pretty much the only thing going for the hotel! we were three girls staying together and it was fairly impossible to move within the room. Then the bathroom door was opened.... it looks as though it was added on as an afterthought […] rather than being an integral part of the room!! The shower was awful, felt like someone had just cut a hole in the roof and then was slowly trickling water through it! To have a shower also meant to flood the entire plastic bathroom, hot water tap didn't work and to turn the cold one meant the entire tap moved. I know it's a budget hotel but there are standards. However, all staff were lovely and friendly so can't fault that! Mehr

Excellent budget hotel, everything you need for a one night stay. Staff are friendly and efficient, parking is included and hotel is right in heart of city attractions. Rooms are always pristine and staff cheerful. En Suite shower room was cramped but perfectly useable for me a 15 stone person. This Hotel is very well located. Outstanding the kindness of the staff. Breakfast buffette is very nice and you get a wonderful view of the dock and sea. Convinient for walking to the Beatles Museum and the Marine and Slavery museums. Rooms are too small; no phone in rooms. Shawer EU stile: very small. Interent available.

The hotel staff were excellent, the room was clean, small, but perfect for one nights stay, with the exception of the mattress being massively uncomfortable and both of us being bitten in the night. Personally I found the latter outweighed the former and I would look for somewhere else to stay in future.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly, rooms are small but functional and clean. Overall a good choice if you are on a budget. Located on the dockside in a very pleasant setting and only a short £3.50 ride from the nightlife. I would gladly use this hotel again.

For an overnight stay hotel is perfectly agreeable, rooms clean,basic and adequate for the price.The triple room not really suitable for 3 adults but ideal for 2 adults and a child. We had the traditional breakfast (payable separately) which was good value also.

It was a stay of two halves. On my second morning, the staff were quite helpful. On the first, they seemed profoundly disinterested in my needs. Not a pleasure, but survivable. Room was clean and fine - I read something about the shower being small, but it was fine - and I'm very tall.

No se trata de un hotel lujoso, pero por el precio que pagamos por noche quedamos satisfechos. La habitación es pequeña y no hay armario, el baño es especialmente pequeño, sobre todo la ducha. Pero el servicio del hotel está bien y la situación es muy buena.

Rent, ryddig og veldig serviceminded! Eneste minuset var at det var små bad..... men det var rent og helt! Stille og rolig område - passer godt for familier - 12 minutter å gå inn til sentrum.

Ett enkelt och mycket prisvärt hotell där allt som krävs finns. Rena fräscha rum, trevlig personal, wifi, bar och restaurang.

Har brukt hotellet ofte når jeg er i Liverpool. Rimlig og greit. Perfekt for lavbudsjett weekend. Litt små rom, men helt greit.

un hôtel bien situé: 300 mètres du centre ville, un mac do à 100 mètres, les docks et le musée des BEATLES à 200 mètres et à 400 mètres le musée de Liverpool. un accueil sympa, un hotel propre dans un quartier calme. seul petit bémol la salle de bain un peu petite et pas pratique mais on le recommande vivement, nous y avons passé un agréeable séjou […] r. O Hotel está em ótima localizaçao, perto do museu do Beatles e do centro, os atendentes são muito gentis e os quartos super confortáveis. Adorei!

Lo peor del hotel fue la recepción y atención de las recepcionistas, en un oportunidad cenamos en el hotel y mi Sra. pidio unos fideos con pesto y no le avisaron que tenía chile picante y no los pudo comer y devolvio el plato casi sin consumir, no se preocuparon por remediar ello, y no cambiaron el plato de comida e igual lo cobraron. Una vez solicite […] un adaptador para conectar mi netbook y me lo negaron me dijereon que los tenia que comprar por L 5. cuando sólo iba a estar un dia en el hotel y ya me iba de Inglaterra. No se preocuparon jam;ás por entender nuestras necesidades mínimas. No volveria ni lo recomiendo.- Mehr

Bra hotel med gångavstånd till Beatles Story, Cavern Club och centrum. Bra service, rent och fräscht. Good value for money!

Udmærket hotel til prisen. Ikke meget plads på badeværelse/brusekabine (jeg er heldigvis lille ; ) NB - dobbeltdyne (men sover der ingen i den tredje seng kan jo bruge den ekstra dyne.... sengene er ok, men ikke så bløde som den derhjemme ; ) Fantastisk udsigt over vandet fra restauranten og fra de værelser der vender mod vandet! (Bemærk at der er ryger/ikke-rygerværelser […] - vi fik byttet vores ryger til et ikke-ryger). Omkring 20 min gang til butikscentrum. Tæt ved afgår National Trusts guidede tour til John Lennons og Paul McCartneys barndomshjem, som man kan komme ind og få en rundvisning i - småpebret, men absolut pengene værd! Flot by! Helt greit hotell til en billig penge. Minus er at dusjen var nesten ikke til å få dusja i pågrunn av UTROLIG dårlig trykk. Utover det et helt greit hotell for gutter vel å merke. ca 3 pund med drosje inn til liverpool by, eller en fin spasertur på ca 10 min. Damene bør unne seg noe bedre ;P

The room was very reasonable with regard to the price and the location was excellent. Staff was also very helpful and friendly!

Estuvimos durante 4 días en el hotel y la estancia fue fantástica. El autobús del aeropuerto tiene parada en la misma puerta, el hotel se encuentra a 15 minutos andando de las principales atracciones turísticas de Liverpool (Albert Dock, la Catedral Anglicana, Mathew Street, etc). El personal del hotel muy atento (en especial el personal nocturno), […] buen menú para comer o cenar a un precio asequible, vistas del río, en definitiva, un lugar donde alojarse para los que buscan algo económico, bien situado y no quieren grandes lujos. La habitación es básica, y quizá lo más destacable sea que la cama es relativamente pequeña. El baño también es pequeño, pero cubre las necesidades. Mehr

hotel ok pr 1ou2 nuits. bar ok ms un peu cher. pas testé le resto!

Nous sommes très satisfaites de notre séjour dans votre hôtel. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Personnel agréable et très réactif Nous avons eu quelques soucis avec le chauffage de notre chambre et internet à notre arrivée qui ont été rapidement résolus. Petit déjeuner très bon. Cordialement.

Hôtel très bien situé au bord des docks de Liverpool entièrement rénovés, à 10 min à pied de l'hyper-centre. Personnel d'accueil très sympathique et de bon conseil pour les visites de la ville. Points noirs: propreté du rideau de douche, des serviettes, ampoule de chambre grillée. A améliorer: propreté de la chambre en général et isolation acoustiq […] ue. Mehr

Var där för att se Liverpool-Wigan och hotellet ligger ca 15-20 mins gångavstånd till Lime Street Sation, bussen till flygplasten går precis utanför hotellet och stannar även där! Mycket prisvärt hotell

Ho apprezzato la pulizia e nel complesso la camera. Il bagno invece, molto pulito ma adatto ad un camper.
