Das Hôtel Saint-Ferréol in Marseille überzeugt durch seinen Charme, liegt direkt an der Shoppingmeile (La Fayette, Promod, Brice, Mango...), ist nicht weit von der Metro-Station Noailles entfernt. Auch der Hafen Vieux Port ist relativ schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem, ein perfektes Hotel, das wir jederzeit wieder besuchen würden!

Super location right on the pedestrian mall. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room size was average, and the room was clean, but it felt old and in need of renovation (e.g., new sheets, blankets, and pillows, new carpets--even the in-room safe felt like a really old model).

Our stay at the Hotel St Ferreol was brief and slightly business like, but still in a bit of a "vacation" mode. Thanks to other visitors' reviews, I was prepared for the side street location, the walk-up first floor reception area, and the tiny elevator. My wife and I only stayed one night in Marseille and at Hotel Saint Ferreol in September 2010 before we set off exploring east so we only really used it to sleep. However, the lady at reception was very friendly and keen to help with giving us ideas for quick sight-seeing trips, and spoke english well (which was a big help as our French was average […] at best!). The room was tidy and there was good internet access (via LAN not Wi-fi) which allowed us to keep planning our subsequent trip. We stayed two nights in mid September 2010. A smallish 4 storey hotel in an older building but tasteful with modern details. Location was great - short walk to Vieux Port. Entrance is in a slightly sketchy feeling narrow street but just around the corner from central shopping street of Rue Saint Fereol. Room 40 was smallish but clean and comfortable […] with a view of rooftops and a slick modern bathroom with a shower. The continental breakfast was expensive for what it was but the coffee was great and juice freshly squeezed. Noise on the street on Saturday nght kept us awake but we should have closed the window and put on the AC. Convenient to a lot. Service was friendly and helpful and the fellow on the desk couldn't have been nicer. Great to have internet access. Overall good value. Mehr

The location was nice and central and the hotel was clean but I would definitely not stay there again. It was a bit odd that you have to ring a bel and then have a weird chime sounding until someone lets you in. You can basically not come or go without having to ask to ring a bel to enter the hotel and also it is very odd that we were asked our room […] number every time we left. Why? A great, central hotel for a visit to Marseille. Not easy to find because it is in a pedestrian area and the entrance is on a side street. The homey hotel was located in Marseilles shopping district. It was about 15 minutes walk to the waterfront. Lots of things to check out within walking distance. As you walked in the entrance, you would find a staircase. You have to carry your luggage upstairs. Don't worry, the hotel staff was nice and helpful. The elevator was the smallest and cutest […] I've ever seen. It could only fit in two people with no luggage at one time. The room was small as well but clean and nicely decorated. Hotellet ligger mitt på shoppinggatan rue St Férreol, Trots det så stör inte trafiken (vi hade fönster mot gatan). Läget är mycket bra och känns tryggt. Bra service och fräscht. Enda minuset är att det från gatan är en ganska brant trappa upp till receptionen där du måste bära din väska. Parkering i området är svårt, det finns p-hus en bit bort.

Bodde tre nätter själv i dubbelrum. Personalen var mkt vänlig och hjälpsam. Dock fick jag inget svar på telefonen och det var ingen i receptionen en natt när jag behövde hjälp med ac:n - trots att de har service dygnet runt. Det drar ner betyget från 5 till 4 på service. Dubbelsängen var ganska hård, det var lite störande, men man vänjer sig. Hotellet […] är ganska gammalt men hellre det än modernt o sterilt tycker jag - så länge det är rent - och det var det. Frukosten är absolut okej m färskpressad juice, kaffe, bröd, yougurt, flingor o croiassanter förstås. Kostade 9 E. Läget på hotellet är toppen, mitt i shoppingkvarter. Man hör ingen biltrafik för det är gågata utanför och fönstret var väldigt ljudisolerat. Jag tyckte jag läste att hotellet hade ett café också - det såg aldrig jag, lite märkligt. Mehr

Hotellet acceptabelt och bra läge men sunkiga omgivande kvarter. Hela detta område nära hamnen är dock lite nedgånget. Svårt att ta sig till hotellet med bil och parkering endast i relativt närliggande parkeringsgarage.

Väldigt bra läge. Nära till Vieux Port och ett steg till shopping. Sängen kunde varit lite bekvämare. Kanske inget budget pris för längre vistelse - men för 2 dagar perfekt läge för att snabbt ta sig till de flesta tio i topp sevärdheterna + som sagt på en liten tvärgata till shoppinggatan rue de ferreol

Hotel in posizione favorevole, proprio "dietro" il Vieux Port, si trova in una traversa di una via pedonale piena di negozi. Parcheggio pubblico sotterraneo a pagamento in Place Charles De Gaulle, a circa 100 m dall'hotel; abbiamo lasciato la macchina dalle 23 alle 10 circa e abbiamo pagato 14 euro. Non abbiamo fatto colazione (10,50 a testa) in hotel […] perchè la zona è comunque piena di locali e non c'è alcuna difficoltà a trovare qualsiasi tipo di "breakfast" a prezzi molto inferiori. La camera è essenziale con letto ad 1 piazza e mezza, doppi vetri, piccolo televisore con Rai 1. Bagno cieco con vasca e, stranamente per una doppia, con un solo asciugamano piccolo ed uno solo grande; sapone e docciaschiuma presenti, come anche asciugacapelli. Reception aperta 24h, bisogna suonare per farsi aprire il portone. Rapporto qualità/prezzo equo. Per una notte o per brevi periodi da consigliare. Un'annotazione: passeggiando lungo il Vieux Port abbiamo visto un hotel bellissimo con piscina circondata dal parquet, lettini, divani, musica: il Radisson.Ci è sembrato eccezionale , certo la spesa è notevolmente diversa !
