Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Vor allem die Poollandschaft hat es unsern Kindern sehr angetan. Einzig der fehlende Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer hat es etwas abgeschwächt. Jederzeit wieder.

Das Super 8 ist dem Preis angemessen. Es ist relativ sauber und hat alles was man braucht für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Wer es lieber etwas ruhiger mag und z.b. Rückenschmerzen bekommt wenn er/sie mal auf einem nicht so guten Bett schläft, der sollte lieber ein höherwertiges Hotel buchen. Im großen und ganzen bin ich jedoch zufrieden gewesen. Der Abfluss am Waschbecken hat manchmal getropft, so dass eine kleine Pfütze darunter entstanden ist und 1 Kopfkissen war nicht richtig sauber. Außerdem waren die Nachbarn über mir sehr laut und haben ziemlich lautstark getramppelt (spät Nachts und morgens früh). Dies sind aber alles kleinigkeiten, die man in so einem Low-Budget Haus in kauf nehmen muss. Für 1-2 Nächte durchaus empfehlenswert, ich werde es jedoch nicht wieder buchen, da gebe ich lieber 10-20 Euro mehr aus und habe einen höheren Standart.

Waren in der absoluten Nebensaison - dann super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis! Super schöne Zimmer, sehr groß mit Sitzecke u. mega Flatscreen-TV. Sehr sauber und schöner Pool/Whirlpool. Nur Rezeption nicht ganz so amerikanisch nett. Frühstück gutes erweitertes Continental Breakfast. Schwer zu finden, da kein Schild an der Straße. Vor dem Comfort Inn rechts rein.

Wir haben in der Neujahrszeit mit unserer zwei Kleinkinder das Hotel bewohnt und fanden es für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr geeignet. Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich, und einfach "alles in Ordnung". Da es in unmittelbare Nähe zur Wohngebiet unsere dort ansässige Familie liegt, werden wir uns in alle wahrscheinlichkeit dort wieder zurückfinden.

"nice stay"
stayed during the lone star bike rally. No complaints. Clean room good price. Walked to boardwalk. I'd stay again.

The hotel claimed to have continental breakfast. However, when we went down to the lobby, their continental breakfast consisted of stale cereal. And, the coffee was terrible.
"Cheap but not worth it."
We got the room for a good price. It had dirty towels in bathroom and hanging on the rack near the ironboard , wet ones that is. the room smelled damp. There was also a 2 1/2 in gap at the bottom of the exit door. So it stayed to warm . And the management was almost rude.

My family enjoyed our stay it was a great bargain, just a little way from the boardwalk, friendly service and a pull out couch for the kiddos.

"The price I paid for this hotel"
For the price i paid for this stay, is not worth it. Cleaning staff only left a small bottle of shampoo but no conditioner, the breakfast included corn flake, fruit loops, milk, small muffins, the coffee was so weak.

"Days Inn Kemah TX, close to fun"
The room was clean and comfortable. Had some trouble with the TV and had to ask for towels. We had 4 people and they gave us 3 towels.

"Cheapest hotel close to the Boardwalk"
We decided to stay in a King bed smoking room (even though we're not smokers) because it was a little bit cheaper than the non-smoking rooms. You could smell cigarettes when you first walked in, but after a few minutes I didn't even notice it. We had a couch that had a pull out bed, a mini fridge and microwave. The room was clean. Shower had good water […] pressure. We decided to drive to the boardwalk instead of walking a mile in the heat. For the location and the price, this hotel was perfect. "Hair Dryer Failure"
The hair dryer didn't work in my room. The solution the office offered was for me to go into another room and use the hair dryer. I agreed to try this solution, even though, I was unhappy about it, because I was in my PJ's. Guess what? That hair dryer didn't work either! I wouldn't recommend this hotel! Plus, NO Pool!

"Worst Hotel I Ever Stay In"
This hotel was the worst. From the manager calling me in the middle of the night to "align" my car better in its parking space (the right rear tire was on the line) to the cockaroach in my room. My daughter didn't like that one too much. Oh and my key cards were turned off before 10am even though check out was at 11am. The staff was nice. Rooms very clean and somewhat comfortable. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but can't complain due to price. Will stay again.

The hotel was clean and the price was with in my range. The only thing was that it did not have a pool. My husband and I were able to walk to the boardwalk which we injoyed. We did not have to waste time and gas looking for a parking space. "slight issues"
The service and cleanliness were great but I had some issues. 1. not within walking distance from the boardwark as stated. 2. the a/c was not very strong. 3. the mattress was very uncomfortable - you could feel the springs in many places.

we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, not only was it close to the boardwalk, but the staff was very nice and very accommodating. The room was very clean and very comfortable, there were plenty of towels, pillows etc and were cleaned very well the next day. The room is a cheap room, The service is barely better than rude! They seem to have an attitude toward Americans? "Excellent bargain"
We attended the Lone Star Motorcycle Rally in Galveston and stayed at this Days Inn. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was concerned BUT everything was clean and exactly what we requested. Plenty of towels and supplies and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a real bargain for the price and I would definitely stay there again.

We used this Days Inn in Kemah as we were attending the Lone Star Bike Rally in Galveston, Texas. We were able to park our bike right outside the hotel room which gave my husband some pease of mind. Other people with bikes also used this hotel for their stay and as far as I could tell no one had any complaints about the hotel. I saw on several occassions […] the manager walking around looking at the bikes in the parking lot. The way the hotel lobby is set up management could see the entire parking lot from their vantage point inside so that was nice as well. Mehr
The room was very clean, and well maintained, the staff was very friendly. It was close to the Boardwalk. and easy to find when we got into town. over all I will stay there again. Great price.

When checking into the room the bed sheets were soiled along with the second set that was sent to the room. At that point we purchased our own sheets from the local Wal-Mart.We also purchased cleaning solutions to make the room have a pleasant smelling fragrance. We aslo noticed mold around the tub area and soap dispenser in the bathtub. We cleaned […] toliet and sink area for safety purposes as well. I know after reading this you are wondering why on earth would you stay. We were told they no other rooms and the other hotels in the area were booked up. When asking for mangement we were told they didn't have any phone numbers to reach him. They wouldn't even consider any compensation for the misable stay at this location. "Days Inn in Kemah perfect for our needs"
We stayed 2 nights just to get away and go to restaurants and bars. We live in Galveston and smoking is not allowed and as I smoke, Kemah is very smoker friendly. We don't drink and drive so this Days Inn was a good location for us. Less than a mile from many bars and restaurants, so a nice safe walk. Other people complained on this site about the complimentary […] breakfast, I found toast, cereal and muffins to be sufficent. Only complaint I could possibly think of would be that I found the bed too soft. Just a minor inconvenience. Mehr

Cheapest hotel within miles. Conveniant to Deer Park. Close to boardwalk and nightlife. Clean. Only complaint would be office has funny smell - but you won't be spending much time in there. Don't count on a real breakfast but at this price who cares.

Had a very good stay. The hotel was clean and quiet. It had the amenities we needed. It was very close to Kehma. The check-in was easy, no problems. The gentleman had everything ready at check-in. Had a great exercise room. Vending and Ice machine worked. Didn't have to ask the office for anything. Would stay there again, no problem.

The lady at the front desk insisted that the card we used to book our hotel was different from the card we were showing her. She was not going to let us check in. I showed her my confirmation (which I printed before I left home) which shows the last four digits of the card, and sure enough, it matched the card I was holding in my hand! Then, they were […] trying to give us a smoking room when our confirmation clearly states non-smoking! Ugh! Another family saw us unloading and asked if our room had a sofa bed. We told them it did. The wife was upset as the same lady just told her that they do not have any non smoking rooms with sofa beds at their hotel! VERY Dissatisfied with the service here! Location is perfect for us BUT the hospitality was lacking. If you like breakfast that is vending machine quality - then this will make you happy! If you want maid service then you'd better not leave your tag on the door!

The hotel was in a great location to Kemah TX Boardwalk and tourist spot. The room was very clean and hotel seemed very new. The only thing NO POOL! In the morning we went for coffe and breakfast at 1020am and advised only coffee after 10am. I saw the cereal machine and asked for milk however desk clerk said "no closed and no more" . the Hotel was clean, bed was very uncomfortable. The attendent at check in was rude both times we had contact with him. Me and a freind came up in seperate cars and met up with an old freind of hers that lives in Kemah. We were told at check in that if they got full we would have to move one of our cars that they only allowed one car per room. As soon […] as we got in our room the phone rang and he informed us that there was a higher cost for her freind being there. I explained he was helping with luggage and he wasn't staying there. My freind and her freind was out until 5a.m. so neither stayed there with me. When we went to check out we were told there was a extra fee because he was there with us. Her freind paid the fee instead of arguing with the guy. I was the only one that stayed in the room but yet we were charged for three, the reservation was for two. I understand that was the agreed cost but there was not a third person overnight. He was there maybe two hours total. Mehr
