Rodeway Inn By the Bay - Atlantic City

Man darf nix erwarten, dafür bezahlt man aber auch kaum etwas! Wer also aufs Geld schauen (will / muss) und ein Auto hat (in 4 Min. ist man in Atlantic City drin), ist gut gerüstet für dieses Motel, wer aber auf gutes Continental Breakfast und Sauberkeit / Service nicht verzichten will, ist hier falsch!

This hotel was one of the wor st that I stayed in 20 years. The phone jack was out of the wall there was no alarm clock in the room. Thank goodness I'll never be back in Atlantic City to experience this motel

The room was clean, but because we checked in around 9pm the office was closed. We had to check in standing outside, while it was snowing through a window. The room key they initially gave us did not work, nor did the second or third one.

It was not very pleasant the rooms were not nice to stay in the bathroom was untidy and pipes was broken not comfortable to use...AC was not working properly and service was poor breakfast was not available so we had to go out and have breakfast....need to upgrade...

Don't let the outside appearance dissuade you from staying. The rooms were good sized with a great selection of tv channels. Only a 3 min. cab ride from downtown. Fridge with freezer worked great and the front desk gave us an iron when we asked. The only downside I found was shower cleanliness. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

This place was a sad excuse for a hotel. Do NOT choose to stay here. The hotel receptionist barely spoke any English and the service was horrible. The room itself was not level and slanted downward. The beds were gross, and the blankets/linens had stains and looked as though they hadn't been washed. The shower had mold growing in it and dead bugs all […] over the bathroom. Did not even stay at this motel. The place was a dump. No toilet seat in in the bathroom when we got there. Supposed to be non-smoking room and the whole room and sheets, blankets etc. stunk like smoke. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The Inn is directly next to the highway. I could hear the traffic all night as I tried to sleep. The lamp didn't work. The only mirror was in the bathroom. The bathroom had no plugs to plug in electrical appliances so I could do my hair. When I took a shower, I noticed tiny hair on the soap dish in the shower. I requested the iron and ironing board […] and had to knock on a guests door to retrieve the iron. I'm glad I brought personal towels as I was able to use their towels for the bathroom and shower floors. There are other Rodeway Inn's, I highly suggest choosing a different one. This was, unfortunately, the most awful motel I have ever been to. It was impossible to get to from the highway. It was filthy - the beds had clearly been used before and not been made. The room had a smell I could not identify. The carpet was so swollen that the closet doors and the door of the mini fridge would not open. I didn't believe the poor reviews of this place. I booked three rooms for an AC weekend anyway. The rooms were awful. One had ants and crumbs/debris all over the room. Another had disgusting stains all over the furniture and sheets. The third had wall stains and dust so thick on the fan that it could be measured. The neighborhood was trashy, the service […] was miserable, and the continental breakfast was simply pre-packaged honey buns. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. The service I received was beyond horrible. This place is actually farther out from the boardwalk than the site states. Upon my arrival to the hotel at 9pm, I had to check in through an outdoor window slot like I was a common criminal. There was no phone service in my hotel room. In the morning I asked the […] manager for an extra set of towels, what I received an hour later was a hand towel. The manager's english is very poor, making communication very difficult. Upon me checking out at 11am there was no continental breakfast, when I asked about it I was told that it would be a while he had to plug in the beverage machines. The hotel was not as bad as some of these reviews mention. The room was comfortable, clean, and even had a microwave and decent cable. The only problems we saw was that the hotel workers were not very pleasant, and the show drain was very backed up.

This hotel is the worst. The room smelled of a stale odor. The bed was worst Ive ever slept in. The heat in the room was very poor. Management was horrible. Upon check out I called the front desk of the hotel for a cab. The manager offered me a ride for 20 bucks when the cab would have been 15.00. the hotel is in the process of renovition and should not ready for accupancy. heather need fixing. toilet dont flus.the smell is on healthy. we take a shower and leaved. stay in the car for short napping and just stay in the casino the whole time.the rug is new but thier is terible smell that could make you sick if you stay a little longer.

The first room I was offered at this establishment had a horrible stench, stains on the carpet, burn marks on the curtains and to top it all off a dead mouse in the middle of the room. After calling the office and informing them of their rodent situation I was asked to deal with the problem myself and throw the mouse out, which I had a very big problem […] with ofcourse. The manager finally came down with a dust pan and threw out the rodent but was shocked when I asked to be switched to a different room or for my money back. They had no double rooms available so I was forced to switch to a room w/ a single bed. This room was not much better but it luckily had no deceased mice. This place was a joke. We booked this room just as a place to get ready for New Year and crash later on that night. We didn't think it'd be this bad. We were next to a highway. there were no corner sotres or anything near by. everything was beyond a highway so that took a lot of money out of our trip paying for a cab every minute this was not stated in the write up as well. This hotel is far from Atlantic city. If you are going there for Atlantic city and not taking your car plz dint stay here. Coz I had to pay for cab $25 each way to casino or to hotel. Really rude customer service. Gave us a really badly maintained room and when asked to change to another room, he refused flatly to do so. In the morning , he opened the door of our room without knocking and these rooms do not have any ways to lock from the inside. Would never go there!
