My wife and I stayed here for four nights in February and had a fantastic time. The staff were all welcoming and attentive, and the hotel is gorgeous. It is a ten minute walk from the castle and ten minutes in the opposite direction gets you to a metro stop and the Charles Bridge so the location is great as well. The hotel also has the best buffet […] breakfast I've ever had! The only negative thing I could say about it is that the walls in the hotel are very thin, and at night/in the morning we could hear everything going on around us (i.e. televisions & conversations). That said, however I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone visiting this ancient city. Mehr

We stayed at another "5 star" hotel in prague prior to staying here (charles IV - I think). There was no comparison, this won was better on so many different levels. Prague is awesome and you won't have any regrets staying at this hotel.

I spent three days at the Alchymist with my wife and two sons, aged 8 and 11, in July of 2011 and we had a fantastic experience. The hotel is very quaint, albeit a bit quirky. The rooms (junior suites) are large, comfortable and well appointed. There is a great restaurant with a nice terrace. And the hotel is within walking distance of every major attraction […] in the city. But the best thing about Alchymist is the service, which is friendly and intelligent. Mehr

THE HOTEL STAFF WERE SO PLEASANT FROM THE SECOND WE SAT DOWN TO CHECK IN...SERVING US CHAMPAIGNE TO THE MAGNIFICENT AND ORNATE DECOR....TO THE MOMENT WE LEFT...OUR ROOM WAS JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! LIVED LIKE ROYALTY FOR 2 DAYS!! NOT ONE BAD THING ABOUT IT!! THANK YOU!!!

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The service was excellent all around. Although we didn't use the spa, pool or gym they were in very good condition. The room was nice. The only small knock is the location with proximity to a train stop. Not close at all, you either have to walk a half mile or figure out the Tram (which we didn' t do). Its on […] the other side of the river from Old Town but it was actually nice to be away from the craziness. But getting her via public transport is a struggle if you a lugging bags/luggage. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent. Pretty good value for a high star rated hotel for a not absurd amount of money. Also, from 5-6 complimentary wine and cheese was a nice bonus. Mehr

The Alchymist was truely a beautiful and charming place. It was conveniently located to all attractions. We only took transportation to dinner one night to a restaurant the hotel recommended, Strata Clara restaurant. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant in a historic cave. The hotels rooms, food, staff, value and location was perfect. In fact you could not fault them. Our only disappointment was the size of the pool which in tiny (deceivingly large in the hotels photos). Overall I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Mycket vänlig och förekommande personal på ett intimt hotell med fina faciliteter. Snygg SPA-avdelning med kunnigt bemötande. Utmärkt massage och manikyr. Snabb och bra rumservice. Frukostbuffén har det mesta man kan önska sig. Dåligt utbud av TV-kanaler för engelskspråkiga gäster. Mycket bra läge, nära Karlsbron och nära Staro Mesto men ändå i lugn […] och behaglig miljö. Min kæreste og jeg var på weekend i Prag, og hotellet udgjorde langt over halvdelen af oplevelsen! Vi havde booket det billigste værelse, men det blev ikke mindre skønt af dette. Der er vin og ost i lobbyen hver dag kl. 17, personalet er FANTASTISK søde, hjælpsomme og tjenstvillige, spaen er SKØN! Jeg vil til en hver tid anbefale The Alchymist!!

Séjour de 4 nuits en novembre 2011 dans cet ancien palais joliment restauré. Nous avons tout apprécié: la situation, très calme mais à deux pas des sites (pont Charles, église Saint Nicolas, château de Prague, parc de Petrin...), l'ambiance baroque et raffinée, notre chambre "de base" mais spacieuse et très bien meublée, la délicieuse cuisine et l'élégance […] du restaurant, la gentillesse et l'efficacité du personnel, l'atmosphère dépaysante et relaxante du spa. Cet hôtel a grandement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour dans la ville magique de Prague. Nous l'avons déjà recommandé à des amis et y reviendrions avec plaisir. Mehr

I must really recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing or romantic vacation. It was very nice and the services were execellent. The food in the restaurant was of high class and I must say that this is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in.

Hotel di una bellezza e fascino difficile da descrivere....se andate a praga spendete qualcosa in più ma non perdete questa perla

Der manglede en lille bakke med el-kedel med lidt kaffe og te kakao så man lige kunne lave en kop på værelset det er der i dag på de fleste hoteler og så var rummet lidt lille med meget skrå vægge så man skal ikke være stor vi støtte hovde mod tit

Excellent hôtel à tous égards

Van bij de ontvangst met champagne tot het buitendragen van de koffers zijn we verwend. Prachtige service tegen een correcte prijs. Ideale ligging om Praag te voet te verkennen. Stevig maar deugddoend onder handen genomen tijdens een Balinese massage in de SPA - ook een aanrader.
