i was very happy with my choice of hotels, the entire stay was very nice and the accomodations couldnt have been better. the entire facility was above my expectations, but at the same time i didnt expect more for what i paid. i would reccomend this hotel to others taht are looking for a nice place for the price.

All aspects of the hotel are ideal, with the exception of a charge of BD$60 (£20) for the breakfast buffet, which was good but not exceptional. After the first morning, we simply bought a couple of pastries in Bridgetown every day, and had those in our room, using the excellent tea & coffee machine. It is a pity that the Hilton itself does not include […] a small baker's shop for this; even better, it should include breakfast in the room charge, as most hotels do. This minor rip-off did not spoil our stay, though. Everything else about the hotel is marvellous, and the manager was very prompt to sort out a small difficulty with our Hilton Honours when we mentioned it to him at the weekly cocktail party. We had an excellent 5 days there, as the last stage in our overall fortnight in Barbados. Mehr

The service is top notch, the hotel is beautiful and clean. The pools and the beach are amazing. Food is expensive here, but everything else is well worth the price!

The resort was beautiful with lovely pools and great location,just one thing thet really got me and my boyfreind off was the service from the staff,we arrived on a late flight and after we checked in we went for dinner at the lighthouse which was just a disaster,we where the only people in the restuarent having dinner and staff setting up the tables […] for breakfast ,they where basically banging the catlery,making so much noise,so i asked the waiter to ask them to just be a bit less noisey,no music,we both ordered stack and it came in over cooked and tough,we told the waiter and she said she was going to let the manager know,but i do not think she did as no one said anything to us after,after having such a bad expirience,we thought will go over to the bar and have a drink and again,No Music,so we just did not bother we went back to the room and ordered a bottle of bubble,that took a good half an hour to come,so we decided,this is not the place we are going to spent our money.so the next morning i called most of the restaurents to see if we could eat out,most of them where closed,so i called sany lane to book lunch,which was by the way amazing,and the waiter at sany lane recommended the Tides which was just Fantastic .The Hilton has very high standard this i know for a fect,but in barbados they have to do lots of staff training, just this year in may my boyfreind and i where returning from holiday in cape town and we passed by in london for one night ,and we went for dinner at the hilton park lane,from the moment we walked in the restuarent,we where welcomed and well looked after ,the service was fantastic,food was execellent. Great waterfront views from most rooms with spacious communal rooms. The pools area is great with infinity pool and bar level pool. Beach nice although not big and with quite rough sea - not the calm Caribbean you might expect. Up market business hotel in nice location.

I'll start by saying that we would return to the Hilton Barbados if we go back to the Barbados. On a positive note, the staff was genuinely friendly with our thanks to Tamarah at the Reservation Desk, Melinda & Christine in the Executive Lounge and Andrew at the Pool/Beach. Our stay was for a week and the weather was great! (My opinion would not be […] so happy if the weather was poor as this is a small island.) We stayed in a two room suite for five days and then extended our stay to the Executive Level (8th floor) for the weekend which boasts twenty foot ceilings and a glass exterior wall to a small balcony. The Hotel is clearly above average by Barbados standards. A four star hotel, it shows in the rooms. However, the exterior of the hotel, although clean, is a relatively unattractive architectural design. Perhaps it was the time of the year, but the landscaping was less than spectacular, too. It just was not impressive for a 6 year old/ 4 star hotel. The fact that it is also a hurricane shelter (which they claim almost never happens) may have added to the drab design. ie. no plants off common area balconies, lack of color, institutional look. The neighborhood, which didn’t bother me, isn’t exactly a postcard. The entire front entrance is more like pulling up to a parking lot. The Executive Level Lounge was an interesting combination of Hilton Hospitality (ie, the staff was great!) and nickel/dime hotel policy. The appetizers were inconsistent, at best. The concept of an Honor Bar which will be billed to your account is different, too. Most Hilton's we have visited don't charge for drinks in the Executive Lounge (all day and night.) Breakfast in the lounge was acceptable if you are looking for a continental breakfast. (ie. nothing served hot except the coffee). However, I didn’t see one person touch the smoked fish plate or cold cuts which I swear sat there all week. Wonderful hotel with convenient location. The beach has waves that you can actually body surf. Maybe not so great for very young but there is calmer surf just next door. The service was excellent, friendly and always available. The one negative was the food. Only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was just not good. Fantastic stay. Staff were polite, proficient, efficient and very Bajan - relaxed and good humored. You are close to Bridgetown for shopping or eating out; close to the Gap for great evenings and close to the must see Oistins Friday night entertainment. I would strongly recommend the Beach Bar - friendly, fast and excellent Rum Punch!!

The Hilton Barbados is nice and right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is not the nicest Hilton, or as new as we were lead to believe, but nice and clean. One main complaint is there are not enough lounge chairs for the beach, and they don't have enough covers for the ones they have. Very bad and slow service. They interrogate the guests as if they were entering a CIA building. We were a fairly large group of family members; they wanted names of each of the people staying in each room and who is staying with who etc. with a credit card for each room. They didn't allow me to put my name and sign for each room even though all the […] reservations were under my name. They couldn't link the reservations together. The staff at the desk were not very helpful, in fact very pointless - they couldn't override the computer because "the system did not allow them" even though our request was very logical - they might as well have put a computer there for us to deal with rather than investing in pointless human capital. Our keys never worked more than two times and they were not helpful enough to come upstairs to open the door and issue us with new keys, we had to make several trips up and down to change our keys throughout our stay. Gorgeous beach. Beautiful hotel. Attentive staff.

Good service. A bit focused on business travellers.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Barbados in August. Our trip was very pleasant - the hotel is well run and convenient, especially compared to some others on the island who offer local charm but a lower level of comfort. We had a few small issues which were very well attended to by the very professional General Manager, Leroy Browne. We are very […] impressed with Mr. Browne and his effective management. Our advice would be to ask for turn-down service if you wish to receive bottled water in your room - this service is not standard but available free of charge upon request. Mehr

Hotel was very nice. Could have had much more comfortable beds. Is a bit pricy per night stay.

I was extremely please with the overall facilities of the hotel, the personel, staff,condition of the hotel was in excellent condition. Highly recommend this hotel.

I was very pleased with my hotel accommodations at Hilton Barbados. The room was very clean and had a wonderful view of the beach and pool areas. The desk personel and dinning room area were very helpful. The comfort of the room was so outstanding that I requested for the same room on my return from my 15 day cruise.

Praia muito boa para curtir em familia porem para quem vai com crianças o mar nao e uma piscina. Tem ondas um pouco fortes. Os quartos sao confortaveis e todas as unidades tem vista para o mar que por sinal uma vista linda! Ficamos 8 dias no hotel e no cafe da manha nao houve variedade de cardapio. O restaurante e muito bom mas o valor um pouco salgado. […] O atendimento na praia e piscina um pouco demorado. Mas no geral o hotel e muito bom com funcionarios simpaticos e bom ambiente familiar. Solo correcto

En la factura nos querían cobrar unas cenas que no habíamos tomado. Al comentarlo en la recepción algunas nos las quitaron inmediatamente sin comprobarlo ni nada, que extraño no? Otra nos costo bastante que nos la quitara, de malas maneras, refunfuñando la chica porque le daba mucho trabajo tener que comprobarlo. La limpieza dejaba bastante que desear. […] Y la amabilidad de algunos empleados también. Si necesitáis un taxi coger uno en la calle, los de hilton son mucho más caros. La playa del hotel perfecta. Resort muito bonito, com uma linda praia. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Minha única insatisfação é em relação à internet, pois, para conectar temos de pagar aprox. $29 dólares barbadianos por dia.

O Hilton não fica totalmente no mar do Caribe, a praia tem pedras e um pouco de ondas.

a verdade a duas lindas praias particulares,uma delas toda azul, e com areias brancas sem pedras,um sonho,a outra da frente muito boa mas a ondas e algumas pedras.a duas piscinas grandes,o hotel fica a mais ou menos 03 km da capital,d pra ir a pe.o cafe e farto,nao há muito o que fazer a noite,na ilha so se fala ingles,portugues e espanhol esqueça,1 […] dolar us,compra 2 dolar babardos bds.enfim quem vai em familia ou de lua de mel nota 10. De service was traag. Verder was het staff niet echt vriendelijk uitgezonderd van de receptie. Het eten was tevens niet echt goed. Vaak koud en geen keuze bij het ontbijt. En erg duur voor een paar sneetjes brood met boter. Er was een stroomuitval voor 2 dagen toen wij er waren, maar het hotel gaf niet eens een drankje voor het ongemak. Dat zegt al […] genoeg. De ligging van het Hotel is niet slecht. Leuk strandje voor het hotel. Dat zou ook de reden zijn dat wij best weer naar het Hilton zouden gaan als we ooit terug naar Barbados gaan. Mehr

Selve oppholdet på Barbados var bra. Men dette hotellet er skuffende. Det ser lite oppdatert ut. Rommene er relativt enkle. TVer som er 10 år gamle! Veldig masete frokost(som er grei prismessig), men de slipper deg knapt inn uten at du må stå i kø og sier navnet ditt 3 ganger. Restauranten THE GRILLE er veldig bra. Mensrestauranten som er billigere, […] og som brukes til frokost og som man også kan bruke til middag er relativ dårlig kvalitetsmessig. Internett er fryktelig dyrt. 15 USD PR DAG! Det er uhørt. Du må regne med en meget høy tilleggsregning. Hotellet ligger langt borte fra butikker, slik at du som oftest ender med å bruke mye penger her. Du får fort en tilleggsregning like stor som du har betalt for hele oppholdet. Mehr
