Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik - Dubrovnik

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Altstadt. Die Zimmer sind prima, unseres auch sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen. Der Fitnessraum ist super modern und es gibt einen Innenpool. Da Dubrovnik echt mini ist und man in 2 Tagen so ziemlich alles gesehen hat, hätten wir uns im Hotel einen Außenpool oder zumindest eine Sonnenterrasse mit Liegen […] gewünscht. Abe das gibt es beides nicht. In der 4. Etage einen Mini-Balkon mit 3 Tischen für je 2 Personen. :o( Mehr

Wir starteten unsere Ferien in Dubrovnik. Die 2 Nächte im Hilton haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Empfang war gut organisiert, Auto wurde geparkt, Gepäck sofort ins Zimmer gebracht. Check-in schnell und problemlos. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und sauber. Frühstücksbuffet hat eine grosse Auswahl und alles ist frisch und reichlich vorhanden. Leider ist […] WiFi nicht im hohen Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, das wäre heutzutage aber ein selbstverständlicher Service, da es das Hotel praktisch nichts kostet. Der Nutzen für den Gast wäre gross. Die Lage gleich neben der Altstadt ist toll, so spart man sich lange Wege. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mehr

We could not have been happier with this hotel. The location is perfect - just 2 minutes walk to the old town. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the city. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was great. Highly recommended.

We had outstanding customer service from this hotel. Our rooms were lovely with balconies overlooking the old city and the sea. The breakfast was way above our expectations. The only thing that was a hindrance was that Hilton doesn't provid free wie-fi in their hotels. That's a corporate issue and can't be blamed on this great hotel.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful and communicative.

Perfect location across from old city. Nice rooms and fine service. Two major complaints. First - no free wi-fi. Every hotel should provide this. Second - extra fee for my wife to stay in room with me. They claimed this is standard policy for Hilton's outside US and for European hotels in general but I had not encounteretd this and I travel a lot.

Even though this hotel is not inside the old city wall it is a 2 minute walk inside. I spend one night inside a sobe that had only a small hot water tank that ran out after one shower, needless to say my significant other would have nothing to do with that so she booked the Hitlon for the next night. I know not all sobe will be like this but this Hilton […] is nice. I would say there again. Mehr

Comfortable hotel with great pool area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I really liked this hotel. It is in a beautiful building that has been lovingly restored, all the staff are amongst the most warm, friendly and efficient that I have encountered and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the old town. The only point I was not so happy about was the price if drinks […] in the bar, but that was easily solved by going into town! Overall, this is a delightful hotel and I hope to stay again before too long. Mehr

Hotel location is a must - just outside the old city. However, the rooms don't necessarily have the greatest view. Mine was of the back of a post office. Breakfast was great and of course the chocolate on the pillow at turndown service was also a plus.

This would be an all five star review if it weren't for the initial room. We were initially put in the annex which is a completely separate building across the driveway from the main hotel. It's not the same as the main hotel in quality, amenities, or look-and-feel. Given the price paid, it was disappointing to be placed there. We asked for a new […] room in the main hotel, and finally received one for our last night but had to pay a significant amount more for the room. It was worth it though - balcony room overlooking the town and water, plus access to the upper lounge in the main hotel which had free drinks and hors d'oeuvres. I'd recommend asking for a room in the main hotel when booking. The location is amazing - 3-5 min walk to the town gate. Mehr

The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the location was walking distance to all of the sights,dinner in the restaurant was fabulous. Our Hotels.com reservation gave us access to the VIP lounge which put our stay here over the top. ***** Thanks

we love it...beautiful city, and the hotel lovely

The hotel had no record of our booking made through hotels.com though when shown a printed version of the booking they took immediate responsibility, were contrite and upgraded our booking to a suite. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Pile Gate of Dubrovnik Old Town. Also a really great breakfast. Breakfast in the city can be ropey and expensive, getting it in the hotel is definitely worth it. Clean and comfortable, was definitely worth it.

We were very happy with our room, it was quiet and serene, just what was needed after a day of sightseeing in a very warm climate. The staff was always helpful and genuinely friendly.

Wonderful experience, literally a three minute walk from the Pile Gate, Fort, and the Adriatic Sea. The Breakfast was awesome and their hotel bar served as a great jumping off point prior to dinner and walking around Oldtown. We were also able to hire a driver/car for our trip to Hvar...the service was just great.

Hi, we stayed in the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnick and we really enjoyed our stay. It is very well situated near the old city, the staff were excellent and the room was a nice size. It has a very nicely situated breakfast area and a cosy bar with very efficient attentive bar staff.

The front desk staff was very helpful and enabled us to upgrade to a balcony room, walking us through several rooms available. The executive suite was well stocked for breakfast and evening cocktails. The staff and concierge were friendly and very helpful, making suggestions for sites to visit and providing useful information about this very historic […] area. The room was comfortable and appropriate for the hotel although we did not have a flat screen TV. I would stay longer next time. On a final note, the hotel is one block from the city gate and one can visit historic old town Dubrovnik without a car. Mehr

Opening the curtains as the sun dawned over the tiled roofs of the old city was enough to make us think we had made the right choice. Having breakfast outside in the sunshine might have been too much for some, but for us a little vitamin D to combine with the C in our fresh orange juice was brilliant. The location I could see from the various maps would […] put us in the heart of things without having to open our window onto the riot of tour groups that manage to get into all parts of the old town. Our room was on the side of the hotel that looks onto the city walls (not the sea). The breakfast was a good spread with the obligatory Gorgonzola cheese found to have had an early wakeup call. For those who thought that was a little extreme, there was the asian breakfast options of noodles, soup, tofu, and strange pickled things, best admired at a distance without breathing through your nose. Despite these curiosities, there was the full english, pastries, fresh fruit and cereals and the chef cooking omelettes to order. It was a shame she didn't know what eggs "over easy" was, but at least they weren't done to a crisp. I should also add that they have a car rental company based in the hotel and they took care of the car we had taken on a romp around the Balkans. Mehr

Our hotel can only be described as luxurious charm located in the ideal spot, nestled as it is just outside one of the gates into the old city. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The concierge especially provided us with tips on places to go for food and things to do. The room was spotless, marred only […] slightly by the smell of stale smoke, as Croatia unlike the UK hasn't yet adopted a no smoking policy. That is but a mere quibble as the breakfasts were sumptious with all tastes catered for depending on whether you were feeling healthy right towards fabulous Belgian waffles! an endless supply of orange juice and coffeee/tea served to your table was very welcome. The indoor swimming pool was fine for a relaxing dip, though not if you were hoping to put some distance swimming in, although with the sea on your doorstep this was a bonus as opposed to a necessity. all in all a delightful trip to a beautiful hotel seeped in history and lovingly maintained. Location was unbeatable as it's right next to the old city, shops, and from a local beach where you can go cliff diving. Service was excellent and the lunch I had at the Hilton restaurant was surprisingly one of the best meals I had in Croatia. It was so good that I went back again on my last day. The hotel has a fantastic location right outside the old city walls, which makes visiting the old city of Dubrovnik very easy. Rooms are quiet, large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is delicious and varied. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in orienting us to Dubrovnik and giving us advice about other places to visit outside the city. The […] lobby decor is a bit sterile, modern and generic for such a grand, historic hotel. It lacks character, and is not an inviting place to sit. Mehr

...assuming you are visiting Dubrovnik because you want to see the Old Town and all it has to offer (although it's also right next to the main bus terminal, so going further afield is not a problem!) The Hilton Imperial is just outside the Pile Gate, you can be standing in the Stradun in 5 minutes, so although there are 5 star hotels with better views […] the location is hard to beat. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet; the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again if I went back to Dubrovnik. Mehr

Hotel was in an excellent location which was the main reason for booking. Breakfast was good and the rooms large and comfortable. On the negative side the Hilton lacked any atmosphere and was very expensive for a drink in the evening after a day of sightseeing.

200 yards to the Pile gate and 100 yards from restaurant Sesame- one of the best in Croatia. Hotel is new, clean comfortable,reminds you of a Hilton anywhere else. Complete renovation in early 2000s after being abandoned for 10 years; exterior preserved and embellished, interior replaced.

We chose this hotel because of its location (primarily) and price (secondarily). Hilton should be thanked for rescuing this building which was apparently heavily damaged in the 90s and was abandoned for several years. The Hotel is one block from the Pile Gate, one of the entrances to the old walled city, easy access to bus service and a block from one […] of the best restaurants we found in Croatia: Sesame, just 100 yeards up the street. The Hilton Imperial is a great hotel and a superb base for exploring Dubrovnik. Every aspect of this hotel is top notch. It is everything one would expect from a hotel in this price category.

The staff here are exceptional, so I feel a little bad giving a less then perfect review. The rooms were definitely clean but for a 5 star hotel I did expect a little more, the room decor was average. The location was also fantastic, just next to the gate of the old town. The Hilton has a fantastic location just outside the Old City, and has all the luxury feel and features you would expect from a Hilton hotel. It does not have an outdoor pool, so if you are looking for a lie by the pool holiday this isn't the place for you, but if you want a convienient base to really explore the Old Town and to take boats out to the […] islands to sunbathe, this is perfect. Melhor hotel de Dubrovnik! Localização perfeita, hotel fantástico! Um dos melhores que já fiquei!

Hotellet ligger flott til nær gamlebyen. Koselig uterestaurant med god service og hyggelig personale. Hotellet passer alle, også barn for noen dager. Kan anbefales.

Hotel localizado ao lado da muralha, é possível ir a pé para fazer os passeios.

Excelente hotel, localização privilegiada. Faltou apenas Wifi no quarto e piscina ao ar livre.
