Beautiful hotel right on the ocean and boardwalk and within walking distance to a many shops and restaurants. Clean rooms and friendly staff. i 'd go back in a minute!!

The weather was blah but my stay was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful (I had some leftovers from lunch one day and didn't have a microwave in my suite but one of the guys on staff escorted me to the employee lounge and we chatted as my food warmed :) What I loved most was although the Boardwalk is a hotel, once I got to my room I felt […] as if I were at a (roomy) B&B, it was very cozy and no boring white sheets and towels, these rooms surround me in color and comfort. The price was reasonable and despite the lack of sun I still enjoyed the ocean view from my suite, would definitely return! Mehr

From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, the staff at Boardwalk Plaza Hotel went out of their way to take care of us. The room was spacious with its own private parlor. There was so much attention to detail in the room, all tailored to the guest's comfort. And the Sunday brunch was delicious! I would definitely stay here again.

On the boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, DE. Excellence in all aspects of hotel and restaurant management. A true getaway from reality.

I have stayed in Rehoboth on numerous occasions, but this was my first time at the Boardwalk Plaza Inn. My visit was on a Monday in January, so the rates were at the lowest they are for the year. The Inn has a great location right on the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and helpful during my short stay. I happened to visit when it was rather warm, and took full advantage of the outdoor hot tub, which connects to an indoor heated pool - these are operable for 24 hours. We have a house under construction in Rehoboth and wanted to have a quiet evening with the Bride. called hotels.com to get a great rate on an oceanfront room. the rate was great. I asked the call taker three times that are you sure this was going to be an oceanfront room and assured it would be...well it wasn't. the room had an ocean view but not what […] I expected. Absolutely love every opportunity to stay at the Boardwalk Plaza but having stayed this time at an ocean view vs ocean front, I realize the amount of relaxation that is added to your stay when you can lay on your bed and look out on the beach. If you stay here no matter what type of room you are guaranteed the most amazing night's sleep due to the most […] incredible mattress I've ever slept upon. My friend and I stayed at this hotel in early December. Every staff member we came in contact with was polite, friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an ocean front room at check in, a nice surprise! The hotel was very clean and comfortable, decorated beautifully. Great hotel. I've stayed here twice now and both times the service has been impeccable. They really do hold themselves in the highest esteem, and strive to ensure that their patrons do as well. The only non-5 in my rating comes from comfort, and that is merely because it is an old Victorian style hotel, with small Victorian furniture. I am not a small […] Victorian. So eating at the in-room table was a bit of a challenge! All in all, beautiful hotel with perfect location. Highly recommended for service alone, but all the other attributes are similarly wonderful! We enjoyed our stay at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel. Everyone was very friendly. Great location...steps from the beach and boardwalk. Although I enjoyed the birds, my daughter is extremely scared of birds and was quite frightened that they were out of their cages. this was a very relaxing vacation - we did not have to drive anywher - everything is in walking distance. The hotel had service of every kind and included beach umbrellas and night time treat and rolled the bed covers down.

The location is great, the rooms need updating- old carpets. The sofa in the room stunk. Very prompt maid service. The pool is incredibly small- if you are traveling w/ kids be aware that the pool can accomodate around 8 people. It is basically a large hot tub. After 8 pm that is exactly what they do w/ it- they turn on the jets and no children are […] allowed. Mehr

I was not impressed with the quality of this 4-star hotel. We were traveling with a baby and had requested a crib in our room ahead of time. Not only was the crib not in the room upon check-in, I had to call the front desk two more times before it finally arrived. The quality of the crib was poor- the mattress is made of soft foam with torn cover and […] the crib sheet was not fitted, which resulted in poor sleep for my baby, not to mention a suffocation hazard. Three of the four front desk staff I interacted with were less than polite and the lady at the desk upon check-out was outright rude. When we ordered breakfast from room service, the food was not warm. The balcony of our ocean-view suite was very small. On the plus side, the bellmen provided great service, and the indoor pool had warm water and was comfortable and towels were provided poolside. We rented a newly released DVD from the hotel, and the location is great. Overall, this hotel is overpriced and overrated. We will not stay there again. Mehr

The hotel was extremely clean. Great service the entire time. Fresh towels everyday. Comfortable bed. The maids doorman swimming pool attendant and desk clerks were all very nice and helpful the entire stay. Very pleased would recommend to anyone. We all enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Thank you.

Outstanding, relaxing hotel with views overlooking the Atlantic ocean. You can hear the surf easily from your balcony and smell the fresh ocean air. We saw a pod of dolphins from our room. Hotel staff were friendly, the dining room is top-notch. The feel of the hotel is relaxed and well-run. This is a place you could spend a month and really relax.

The Boardwalk Hotel is in a great location, parking is very very safe, they close the under ground garage at night so your car is safe. Elevators to have access to your room. All you have to do is leave the hotel and the beach is steps away and great access to the boardwalk right there to ride your bike, take a walk or jog. The shops were only 3 blocks […] away, and good selection. On the boards alot of police to make you feel safe. The food was excellent, good selection on the menu for breakfeast, lunch and dinner. The pub has nice variety and alittle popcorn while you are enjoying your beverage. The staff very accomadating, for example helping you with your luggage to get to your room. The service at meal time excellent and the staff, polite, pleasant just making you feel welcome. The gal that serviced our room was so nice helpful, pleasant and had a great smile. Really the staff, was so helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them. The room was clean, it had blow dryer, little package of lotions, bath salts, shampoo and good instant coffee, beverage bar including snacks. I ordered room service, they were very prompt I had oordered regular brewed coffee so so good and, you got a beautiful flower, ( when you order room service (so sweet) The room was very clean, bed and pillows so comfy and you have your tv plenty of channels and internet access outside in the hallway, if needed. Ice close by to enjoy your beverage in your room. The pool and hot tub looked clean and you can layout on the deck area and enjoy the sun and alittle area to just sit (cute swing). Friday and Sat. nites 6-10pm great Jazz music in the outside of the pub bar, we just enjoyed the music and had a beverage and a bite to eat. When you check in there is a doorman, opening the door, so nice. This Hotel, had a beautiful theme (victoria style) and in the afternoon you could have tea. I loved the hotel, but would request a bed that is not an elevated four poster bed as I was short and had problems getting up and down.

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. Close to the beach and all the neat shops of the boardwalk. The rooms were clean and so nice. I would recommend this to everyone. And also don't forget to eat a fantastic meal in their dining room. The food there is out of this world

We loved our stay. Staff was cordial and attentive. Room was comfortable and clean. We loved the resturant. Excellent food and service. So much so that we ate every meal there. My only recommendation is a more comforatble chair in our room. Not comfy at all.

Stayed for only a weekend but will recommend this hotel to anyone. Victorian style conveniently located right on the boardwalk/beach and 2 blocks from Rehoboth ave- walking distance to everything! Staff is super friendly- hotel rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable and clean! Lovely seating outside for eating and brunch was delicious!

This hotel has a great location on the beach, and within walking distance to the main street with restaurants and shops. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The concierge service id definitely worth it!

We thought some sort of breakfast was included in the cost of the hotel. I was a bit disappointed they didn't even serve juice and danish in the morning. Room only had 1 caffeinated tea bag , so if two people wanted caffeinated tea, they had to go down to desk to get it. The room seemed a bit tight for 2 people, but that could be because we had a King […] bed. Overall the place was fine for what we wanted. We got a good rate for it since it was off season. Even though our visit was certainly off-season for Rehoboth Beach, we wanted for nothing during our overnight stay! The hotel is right on the beach and is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The hotel staff were very warm and polite, making us feel welcome. The room was a very nice size, clean and comfortable. We did not have an opportunity […] to sample the fare, however I can only imagine that it matches the hotel's quality in every other factor. This hotel is one of my favorite "getaway" spots, especially in the winter months when the beach is empty of the tourists but still full of God's natural beauty and tranquility. The Boardwalk Plaza is a quaint 4 star hotel where the people and little things make it a wonderful place to stay. While very, very nice, this is not a "fancy four star," but […] rather a "forever four star" where the simple memories and unbeatable atmosphere will stay with you for a lifetime.
