Sehr kleine und eher spärlich eingerichtete Zimmer. Frühstücksbuffet nicht überzeugend.

sehr freundlicher Service. Nähe zum Bahnhof günstig aber auch laut durch Rangierzüge bis spät in die NAcht (Fenster muss geschlossen bleiben) Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, wenn auch Einzlezijmmer sehr klein und Bad verm. aus den 70iger Jahren

es ist zwar sehr hellhörig auf dem Zimmer, ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden!

We arrived at this hotel after our train journey on the Glacier Express. It is conveniently located near the train station, thus the reason for booking. The overall appearance seemed OK, however when we entered our room, we were met with a very basic room. The beds & pillows were uncomfortable, the towels in the bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke, the […] walls were paper thin, so you could here very clearly the other guests. Breakfast was also a limited selection. Whilst the lady on the reception desk was lovely and tried to help us with any request, the same could not be said for the gentleman. The reason we stayed in Brig, was to be a cheaper option than staying in Zermatt, by experience we would have been better off in Zermatt. The cost of the train service is 90 CHF return trip per person and the various rail passes do not cover this train, as it is a private service. Mehr

Enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Big room for 4 occupants. We ate at restaurant near hotel.

service is good, restaurant is beautiful and good, breakfast is good, rooms are outdated, but will be renovated this year, overall good

We had an amazing time at the Hotel Ambassador Brig. We booked the Jr. Suite which was recently remodeled and loved it! The only minor complaint would be the pillows were uncomfortable (too hard and too high), but the room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. We will definately stay with them again !

The location was good. The downside to the room was there were only two separate beds for my new husband and I. The entire hotel did not have a single larger bed. The worse part of the entire stay was that we had a 6am train to catch and when we tried to check out at 5:45am, we basically got yelled at because it was "the middle of the night".

We felt fortunate to get a room in Brig at a reasonable price by booking well in advance, as our hotel was full at the end of June. A lot of travel routes meet in Brig. The receptionist was perfection, and so was the buffet breakfast. We had overnight storage space for our bikes, and a clean, spacious room with comfortable beds. It was also nicely […] cool on our arrival, even without having a/c, due to the cleaners letting all the cool morning air circulate and then closing out the warmer part of the day. We were surprised that the room looked so "bare" and unstylish, but I think that is the oldfashioned Swiss style. Certainly, we lacked for nothing in practical details. We also experience no night-time noise at all from inside or outside the hotel. The hotel is in a side street, within easy walking distance of the train and bus station and the main streets. It is also not very far to the Schloss and old town area, which are uphill. We had a spot of bother with one of the two windows, as it was a bit loose. The receptionist was exceedingly prompt and helpful in attending to our problem, and was very quick to do a bit of DIY !! Mehr

The Ambassador was a wonderful surprise. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was extremely clean and neat with comfortable bedding and the breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is close to the train station and town. From the outside you wonder how old it is, but the inside has been redone and is beautiful. The icing on the cake […] is the hotel restaurant which is reasonable and serves some wonderful local fare. Mehr

Very close to the train station. We walked it with a wonderful breakfast. We loved it and no complaints.

We have traveled extensively and can honestly say we have never seen a frendlier staff. This hotel is an absolute delight. Gorgeous restaurant with exceptional food. Our room was very nice and the neighborhood totally safe. The train and a grocery store are within 2 or 3 blocks. You can't miss with this one.

Although classed as a three star hotel I would say the fixtures and fittings of the room were closer to a one star. Notwithstanding the room was clean and functional and served its purpose for the one night I was there.

Very comfortable. Just a short walk to the train station and tot he city center. Many nice restaurants just a short walk away.

The hotel was very easy to find from the train station. The service was we arrived was very friendly and prompt. The room was neat and clean and was a decent size for the rate we received. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay in Brig.

Chambre trop bruyante. On entend les conversations provenant des autres chambres et les écoulements d'eau et toilettes tôt le matin. Bon buffet pour le petit déjeuner. restaurant trop cher.

Hotel traditionnel, sans grand charme, mais excellemment situé pour une visite de ville ou un départ tot avec l'express glacier ou une autre destination ferroviaire.

Hôtel bien situé (près du centre pietonier), quartier calme, petit déjeuner correct.

Le cadre est très agréable et l'accueil très sympathique. Cuisine classique mais très soignée, servie sur l'agréable terrasse d'été. Petit déjeuner inclus, très copieux (plusieurs variétés de pains, fruits frais, charcuteries, fromages) servi dans la superbe salle à manger décorée de thèmes ferroviaires et montagnards.
