"Just one slight blackeye"
The wireless system was either not properly alligned or was weak. At best I got 2 bars signal strength and during a streaming show the signal was completely lost. Minor but frustrating.

"Great Value for a Dega! Nice people, good price"
The beds & linens were comfy. It is a good price & didn't require a 2 night minimum for race weekend. The bathroom needs work; evidence of flooding via water line on drywall; probably from the toilet which wouldn't flush completely & looked close to overflowing. Night mgr very welcoming. Coffee, juice, mini-muffins & donuts offered in lobby checking […] out, however beverages tasted diluted & cups offered were 1/2 the "regular small" size styrofoam - like 4oz maybe? "University"
We stayed here because it was the closest place with a room to Talladega. It was clean and my wife and I felt safe. The hotel is outdated but other than that it seemed to be well run and looked as if it was American owned which is always a plus with me. I would not hesitate to stay here again. "Great Place, Great Price"
This was a great place at a great price! Was $50 less that the chain hotel in town. Everything had been painted fairly recently, carpets seemed to be new and in great condition, bed linens were nice. Good pool area with sunning area & small play area, even the landscaping was well kept. (This is from someone who has been in facilities management for […] nearly 30 years.) Comfortabel bed w/comforter but I always bring my own pillow. Only improvement I saw would be a little thicker towels. They weren't thin from age or wear, just probably a second grade in quality.
