Alles perfekt. Werde bei meinen nächsten Stadtaufenthalt wieder dieses Hotel wählen. Frühstück das jedem gerecht wird.

Super Bedienung. Grossartiges Frühstück. Freundlicher Empfang. Immer wieder werden wir im Hotel Hilton übernachten.

It was a wonderful hotel room surrounded by outstanding service. Nextx time to Santa Domingo I would stay there again. Only disappointment, not the fault of the hotel, is that it is not really close to a shopping or dining district, although there are a few good restaurants nearby.

Great hotel, modern, clean, great comfort, room are spacious, power connection in every wall, great bathroom, restaurant is great good quality of food, pool outstanding, service impeccable. The location is close to a mall and bars so not bad however no shopping you need to drive 5-10 minutes for other areas to shop, you are on the boardwalk so nice […] walks but do it in the day time. no casino at this hotel and removed from the main area. I've stayed at every hotel in this city and this is by far the best. Mehr

This Hilton does a great job with everything. A class hotel. It was also very nice to see a familar restaurant next door, Tony Roma's Ribs and Steak.

With small exceptions to the evaluation limit everything was O.K. The main isue is that the hotel starts at the fifth floor, however there was not any issue regarding that even using own transportation and the parking is located at the fifth floor also. Breakfast and even the restaurant food were excellent.

The staff is the best you can find in the DR. They go above and beyond making your stay enjoyable. The security was perfect in getting to know you but not going overboard. The hotel is simply beautiful and now there is a brand new park across the street to US standards with a beach

This is a good place if you want to explore the Colonial Zone and other parts of Santo Domingo. It's a good deal: the rooms are basically clean, all of them have some view of the ocean, and the staff is generally helpful and welcoming.

It totally depends what you want, no? It's a Hilton; top quality first world hotel experience (w/ price to match). However, it's all by itself. It's not far from town if you have a car or taxi (which costs $10USD from the hotel). But, it's not walkable to anything. I'm sure it's great for business traveler's, particularly if your company is footing […] the bill. If you're more interested in experiencing the city and having a cultural experience stay in the Zona Colonial, perhaps near El Conde or the old church (whatever it's called). You'll spend half (or less) the amount on lodging and be walking distance from all sorts of sights/restaurants/dance clubs (it's a UNESCO world heritage site for Christ's sake!). All that said, if you want Hilton pampering and/or money is no object...I'm pretty sure it's the nicest hotel in the country. Mehr

New years dinner, poor choices expensive. My party had go out to another hotel to eat dinner.

Great place to stay..............I will only stay at this hotel when I visit Santo Domingo. The only problem is the car company they charge twice as much as the other taxis.....so I would find one that will come pick you up because everyone knows where the Hilton is.

Have stayed at most of the hotels in Santo Domingo, and in my opinion----this is the best one. Parking garage takes a little getting used to---but is free.

At check-in, the room was not ready. The parking area is terrible in the sense there is no security

The hilton is very well managed, the facilities, food, everything is up to standards and you just cant take a chance in latin america when 3 stars could mean 1 to us

After a stressful month at my job, staying at the Hilton in Santo Dominigo was a breath of fresh air. The staff was extremely friendly. Front desk staff were great suggesting places to go and activities. Thx Laura!! The dining room staff on the 5th floor were superb. The manager George made sure we were taking care of every time we were there. Lenin, […] the supervisor for guest relation found out it was my birthday so he sent some cake and champagne to my room. That was a nice surprise and made my birthday that much more special. Overall it was a great stay. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. And I would definitely go back to Hilton Santo Domingo!! Mehr

Its a great hotel, rooms are very nice, you will not hv any problem. Just the breakfast is expensive, you can take taxi to downtown and hv better breakfast.

I can't imagine staying anywhere else. I have stayed in Embajador, Melia and Jaragua, eventhough they are all not that bad, but a bit outdated....Hilton is brand new and modern. - Staff is overly friendly - Housekeeping leaves the room spotless, very clean and smelling good + turndown service - Breakfast is good but somewhat expensive, around $24 - […] Casino is closed - Taxi Drivers working at hilton are ripoffs Mehr

Title says it all! Great place, nicely maintained hotel,the executive lounge worth the upgrade. I got a free suite upgrade because I have a Gold VIP Hilton card and they treated me very nicely. Hotel is next to the water - HOWEVER IT IS NOT A BEACH, YOU CAN JUST WALK BY IT BUT CAN'T LAY DOWN OR GET SOME TAN - and next to many casinos. Women are very […] accessible from those casinos and have some clubs around too. There are only 2 disadvantages: - Hotel is nowhere near by a beach where you can lay down... the closest is 45 minutes away (Boca Chica) - Staff barely speaks any English. If you want something complicated then it might not worth the effort. On the other hand, a very nice place to stay with great amenities. 24/7 gym, basic but nice pool with bar and people are nice. This was a great experience for it being my first stay at this hotel. The staff and service were excellent. The food and drinks were a little expensive but nothing out of the ordinary in an upscale hotel like this one. Mainly used by business travelers so not too many kids and noise here.

Great hotel located in the worst neighborhood I have seen in DR. I have been travelling to DR for almost twice a month, and the neighborhood where the hotel is located is not the best one. Taxi is too expensive to move around the city from this location. Too many traffic jams around the city can take you to have a 5 miles drive be done in an hour. A clean, quiet place to stay in Santo Domingo for a very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful hotel staff, plenty of whom spoke English. The hotel is a bit far away from City Center, considering the awful traffic of Santo Domingo. But a Taxi is easy to find and, as long as you are patient, for less than $20 they will take you to places like Acropolis […] or Blue Mall where you can shop, eat, drink, dance, etc. Be sure to check out El Conde, the walking area just west of the River, and the Mercado just north of the Cathedral over there. Staff was amazingly helpful and full of attention. the hotel is gorgeous and very clean. Located just close to a Tony Roma, right on the Malecon, and just minutes from the center. My experience is extremely positive, would stay there without hesitation and highly recommend it.

Excelent Hotel!

Hotel is in a nice location, I am a business woman who travels solo frequently and felt 100% safe the entire time I was there. Restaurant and Bars are good, rooms are clean and staff are very helpful and attentive. My work colleagues and I stay here every year and we've never had a problem !

For business or pleasure, the Hilton Santo Domingo is the best option... Great rooms, very clean and excellent service.. not in the city center but the city is soo small that this is not an issue.

The hotel staff told us not to walk outside and there was little to do at the "mall" next door. Come to find out, we were a short 15 minute walk from the Old Town. If only we had known. The $40 US cab ride to the airport was also a bit much. The view from the rooms is wonderful as is the pool area. Great hotel. EXCELLENT customer service. Surrounding area is so-so, but sites to see (Zona Colonial, El Conde, etc) are a quick taxi ride away. Area is relatively safe. There are numerous quality restaurants within walking distance. Malecon center needs more shops and needs people (no one is around) to make it enjoyable. Hotel is very well maintained. It is across from the shoreline, but it is not a beach, so don't think you can walk across the street to going swimming. Hotel is about 30 min. away from International Airport, but their really isn't any other option in between. Hotel area surrounded by casinos (casino inside Hilton also)and a few miles away from the old […] city. Overall, a great place to stay and feel safe. Mehr
