I was in town for a 2 day 3 night meeting at a resort less than 1/2" mile from this location. I could not have been happier with the location, room and ameities for 1/2 the price of the resort. My room was very large with a living space, a full kitchen, and a sperate sleeping room. It had a great night time view of Tucson and the sports bar / grill […] was also a highlight. Mehr

We only live about 70 miles away, but still enjoy spending a lovely, relaxing weekend here now and then. The onsite restaurants and bars are wonderful, the view from the patio is beautiful, there are fun pools and water features for adults and kids, the beds are comfy and the spa treatments are AMAZING! Beautiful scenery to watch outside my patio. There is also the Starr Pass Trailhead hiking trail that is walking distance from the casitas.

Also had a sofa sleeper. Worked great for small family of 3. Great view out back, sat on patio at night and observed wild javalinas scurrying around under clear starry skies...great views of golf course and surrounding mountains in the daytime. Had a great time swimming in the large pool. Nice stay!

The one Bedroom That we stayed in was a very nice size. It needs to be updated the TV's are old and small both in the livingroom and bedroom. The sofa and chair in the livingroom were very worn. Sitting in them was no fun. The bed however was wonderful. We have a the same bed at home. The kitchen was full size but needs to be updated. The patio was […] small with no cover. It was raining the night we stayed. The screen door was broke and there was a wood pole to help lock the sliding door. Mehr

This Hotel is away from the heart of the City so it offers a more relaxing setting. It is dark at night so star viewing is wonderful. The pool is a walk away, but call front dest and they will transport you from and to your room. Clean and pretty rooms.

Overall, a nice place to stay. However, the walls are paper thin. I could hear all conversations going on in the adjoining room. The front desk also gave incorrect information regarding shopping in Tucson.

Even though it was only for one night. It was a VERY great night sleep on a comfortable bed. Only concern was I get up early and since the pool opens at 6:30am I thought it would be great for a morning swim before I leave. The pool was very dirty with leaves in the pool. I asked the night before and they assured me that the pool is cleaned 6am and 6:30am. […] I didn't show up till 6:45 to give them some extra time but no one came til 7am to clean the pool. the sign says 6:30am to 10pm for pool hours. Oh!well. The room was great. AC in room worked great. I had a blender, toaster, plates, silverware, microwave, and small fridge. I will be staying here every time I visit Tucson. Mehr

I enjoyed my stay at Starr Pass, but the first night we arrived. They overbooked and the room I paid for (one bedroom suite with kitchen)was not available. So I was placed in a studio with my 3 children and mother and a car load of food. What bother me most was the excuse they provided. Instead of owning up to the overbooking they lied and said there […] was a electrical problem with the room. But when I asked to see the room with the electrical problem or review the work order, they began offering me an additional room and comps for my inconvenience. In their defense the next day they did provide me with the room I originally booked along with the adjacent studio they placed me in the night before and supposable are going to comp my first night, however, I haven't seen the bill yet. To spare confusion, there is the ‘Deluxe Studio Suites’ known as the ‘Standard Room’, then ‘Master Suites’ known as ‘One-bedroom casita’, and then ‘Two Bedroom Casitas’. The ‘Standard Rooms’ are the smallest offerings which are about the size of a regular hotel room with 2 twin beds. Then there is the ‘One-bedroom casita’ which is what I’ve described […] below. And finally the largest you can get is the ‘Two Bedroom Casitas’ which are an adjoined ‘Standard Room’ and ‘One- bedroom casita’ combined by unlocking an adjoining door. My wife and I decided on a last minute get away for our anniversary. Even though we live here in Tucson, we were still blown away at the beauty of this place. We were able to get an incredible deal on a ‘One- bedroom casita’. We're talking almost 900 square feet of gorgeous living space which includes a healthy sized living room with fireplace and dinning area, full sized kitchen (furnished with a large fridge, regular oven, microwave, dishes and cookware), large master bedroom, and humongous bath with separate shower and tub. There is even a washer and dryer and free Internet to boot. The place is kept in immaculate condition. We had a breathtaking view from our back patio that overlooked one of the golf greens which blended into the beautiful foothills. The funny thing is that we were supposed to get away from it all and be alone for 4 days, but we loved the place so much that we instead kept inviting family over to share the place and swim. The living room’s sofa-bed nicely accommodated those that stayed over one night. The casitas are adorably arranged along streets like a neighborhood, yet you still get room service and daily housekeeping like any other hotel. The staff is friendly and courteous and make timely responses to your requests. Another reviewer stated there is nothing for kids to do because it is a golf resort. This may be something to consider if you plan on a long stay, however, our kids (ages 7 to 15) only cared about sw Mehr

Only one complaint! Check out time was 10am too early!! Other than that the room was great, nice & cool. Drop off at the pool and pick up was I think the highlight of the whole stay. Staff was courteous. Good Times!!
