The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver - Vancouver

I love the Bayshore. Its close to downtown for business, great view, close to the park for running, and a first class hotel. I've stayed there for years and have never had any issues.

I was so disappointed with this hotel. When I booked this htoel it was to be on the harbour and with breakfast. The first room they put me in faced cement, cement cement!!! When I called down to change the room I had to pay an extra $20.00. My friend was upgraded for free. I asked about breakfast and they said it was not included. I payed a lot of money […] for a hotel that did not provide the service. Even the internet was not free. The lobby has it for one hour for free but you have to ask for it and then they have a hard time finding ther piece of paper with the code on it. I would be interested in Hotels.com calling me! Mehr

Parking was a bit on the pricey side but the hotel was great and the location is amazing.

Great location; the restaurant menu is pretty limited and the charge for parking is ridiculous at $36 per day. Nice rooms and very attractive, very clean hotel.

The front desk is very helpful and friendly. I was up graded to the top floor in the new wing. The room is very nice and I have a balcony too. The hotel loaction is very good very close to a lot of good restaurant. Over all the experience is very good.

What a great hotel,right on the water and oh so close to the wonderful Stanley Park. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed in older rooms. Very thin walls. Loved the hotel otherwise, perfect jumping off spot for walk or run.

be aware you pay big time for parking or internet seemed silly.

Brought my kids to Van for the weekend. We were at the Aquarium and Stanley Park, so Westin Bayshore was convenient location. Everything about the hotel is top notch. They were very accommodating, letting us check in early. I had twisted my neck somehow so was in lots of pain, so the valet parking was helpful, as was the super comfy bed and hot tub […] for getting me up and going the next day. Parking a little pricy at $41/night for valet service, but hey you deserve to be treated first class! Dissapointted that they want an extra $15 for in-room wireless, but do have free wifi in lobby. No locks on bathroom door in my room, which is not great if you have kids or want assured privacy. The view however was spectacular, and the glass doors opened up to the outside, with a balcony, for a very breathtaking natural experience. Yes, worth the money. Mehr

Beautifully decorated rooms. clean and well cared for. pool and fitness rooms very nice and clean. Highly recommend harbour view rooms. Breathtaking vistas. Food as expected for a hotel othis caliber is outrageously expensive, but there are lots of places to eat just down the road. Ciao Bella is a highly recommended italian restaurant.

I'll be coming back to this hotel again for sure. Great value, scenery and location.

When you need a little calm in the storm - The Bayshore delivers every time. It 's quiet, gives great views to the piers/water and has a level of service and sophistication that speaks to a long history of being the best.

What a great location, so close to Stanley Park, Gastown and shopping. Aside from the very high parking rates, which actually turned out to be quite convenient, this is the perfect location for a first timer or repeater.

The room was great, but freezing cold. We kept turning the heat up more and more but the walls and floors were frigid all night. We paid extra for the suite, but ended up with less of a view than the smaller room we had last year. The hotel staff are very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. The room I was booked into did not match the room photos presented on the web site. It was smaller and did not accommodate four adults as described. Other than not receiving the value I expected to, the hotel was nice and in a good location.

Had a fantastic short stay with a fantastic view and fantastic service. The room was clean and comfortable. The experience was very relaxing which was our goal.

Nice room, great view of the harbour, very comfortable. Would recomend this hotel and I will be back.

Perfect location. The view from our complimentary upgraded room was fantastic. The harbour and Stanley Park, beautiful. The beds and bedding were sooooo compfy. One of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in for a long time.|

When in Vancouver I always stay at this hotel. It's location is wonderful. First thing in the morning one can walk/jog around Coal Harbour to Stanley Park. Nearby are great [laces for coffee/breakfast. Rooms are comfy and clean. Views are great. Love it!

The Westin Bayshore was beautiful; the rooms were very nice & clean & the hotel staff was friendly & helpful--all that I would expect from a Westin. The neighborhood was nice--close to a good restaurant we ate dinner at & a nice cafe for breakfast & coffee. We didn't stay in the city long, but if we had, or if you planned to walk around more, I would […] have probably chosen a hotel closer to more shops & restaurants. We arrived to the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver after a trip in the Rocky Mountains and stayed there for 5 days. The hotel is beautiful , the location is excellent, the view from the rooms is magnificent and teh service was good. We enjoyed staying there and would recommend on this hotel.

This is our fourth year that we have chosen the Westin for it's proximity to the area we wish to visit, excellent views of the harbour and surroundings, very clean and comfortable rooms, exercise facility, and pools. Excellent proximity to Stanley Park, Convention Centre, seaplane transportation facilities to Vancouver Island, etc.

Our room was very clean, sunny, and comfortable, the shower -a designer contraption- was a bit odd, but worked well. Wish there was a tub! Nice view from the windows. The hotel is clean and located near Stanley Park and the harbor, and not too far from West Side restaurants and shops. No free wifi. Parking is an expensive extra. Fantastic location - fabulous views, right on the waters edge. Lovely hotel with two swimming pools, one inside, one outside. Very attentative and helpful staff. If you are planning an Alaskan cruise, this is the hotel to book. (We checked out the hotels by the cruise ship terminal (Pan Pacific etc) and found they were too impersonal and extremely busy, […] not to mention noisy.) Just a couple of blocks away is Denham Street, with a vast array of different restaurants. Stanley Park is easily walkable from the hotel, be sure to visit the aquarium there, it's very good. What a beautiful harbor view. It was worth the extra cost to get that view of the boats, cruise ships and float planes. Carderas restaurant was less than a block away and had delicious seafood - halibut and scallops were a hit! Stanley Park was a short walk, and the Aquarium was outstanding. The hotel was not in the middle of town, but transportion […] was not a problem. Also the surrounding neighborhood had great little cafes. I would recommend this hotel. Mehr

Great Location and Lovely comfortable and clean Hotel, service lacking a little but still very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed the hotel, it is really nice and so close to Stanley park. Swimming pools are great, the outdoor pool was perfect temperature!!. Room was really nice and well taken care of. Down side is parking, i paid 33 dlls for a day, it should be included with the room!! You can pay less for parking if you leave before 5am, those schedules are […] so annoying. Mehr

We have stayed here several times because of the great location. It is right near Stanley Park so we can walk, ride bikes, and enjoy being along the seawall. The hotel itself is lovely. We did not eat any hotel food. There are many cafes and restaurants around. My onky complaint is the high internet fee per device. Many of the cafes have free wifi  […] too. Mehr

The location of the hotel on the water and the sea wall near Stanley Park was great. We also enjoyed the pool. We were dissatisfied with the wall view from our rooms, but a nice woman at the reception desk was able to change them for rooms overlooking the pool and the water. The rooms were nice, and the beds were very comfortable. This was our first […] time in Vancouver, but every time we asked the concierge to recommend a restaurant the answer was always something like "they are all nice" or "I don't know if there is that type there." One time the person just turned the screen so we could see it. We asked about a tour to a island and the person said that he had not been there since he was 5. I expected more. We were visitors there. We stayed in a nice hotel, and I expected better service. Mehr

The hotel is in an excellent setting and close to restaurants, the water and Stanely Park. It looks like the hotel could use some updating as the hallways were dark and drab. I would also recommend bringing your own toilet paper unless you enjoy singly ply!

good hotel, large, clean near to harbour, but long walk into downtown. for an expensive room, i expect free wifi, not here! as per all large hotles most things were on the expensive side, so eat out, good cafe's nearby on water front for breakfast.

First Class Hotel, Great Location,

This was a very good hotel in a very convenient location. Our room was spacious with a king bed and 2 arm chairs. We had a view of the marina, harbour and downtown highrises. We could watch the float planes come in and out. Most places were either within walking distance or easily reached with public transport.
