Das Hotel Carlsbad Seapoint Resort liegt an einer Zuglinie, wo recht regelmässig lange Züge verkehren, die im Vorfeld des Hotels oft durch ein Signal ankündigen, dass sie den nächsten Bahnübergang passieren. Der Strand ist nur durch Überqueren einer Straße zu erreichen, die nächste Ampel befindet sich in ca. 200 m Entfernung. Beim Einchecken in das […] Hotel muss man eine ca. DIN A4 grosse Seite mit Regeln unterschrieben, wie zum Beispiel das späteste Auschecken um 11.00 Uhr. Am Abreisetag wurden wir permanent ab 10.00 Uhr gedrängt, auszuchecken, das geschah einmal durch das Housekeeping, einmal durch Anrufe der Rezeption. Leider haben wir durch diesen Fakt drei Kleidungsstücke vergessen, die trotz E-Mails und Anrufe im Hotel nie wieder gefunden wurden. Mehr

We came here for my son Spring Break and he loved it!!! The staff are soo nice and helpful. The room is very nice and clean. The resort is very neat and clean also. Overall we had a nice stay. Will stay here again.

Cleaning service was every other day small details such as replenishing coffee was overlooked,otherwise great stay.

Location isn't great if you don't have a car. There is no restaurant in the hotel and there is not a restaurant in sight. The beach is close, but it is a rocky beach best for surfers. You have to drive to get to the portion of the beach where you can lay out. The hotel is average and it is clean, but I wouldn't stay here again.

My family and I just retuned from a 4 day stay at the Seapointe Resort and had a wonderful trip. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was spotless and comfortable (not to mention how convenient it was to have the garage parking). The kids really enjoyed the game room and we all loved the proximity to the beaches. It was also great to […] have the use of beach toys, chairs and an umbrella for the beach, what a nice touch. This is a nice place, especially for families. I would note that there is not a restaurant on the premises which makes it a little tough although there are many nearby restaurants. There is a full kitchen, outdoor grilling facilities and nearby grocery store which was very helpful. Lots of activities to keep the kids occupied. It was nice to have the full sized kitchen. We only booked two nights and regretted not staying more days. I had to do laundry and the front desk gave me some free tide. To kids loved the pool, spa and sand play area. The only negative is they try to pressure you into viewing a time share demo.

The hotel was across the road from the beach and surf. It was very easy to move in and out of the hotel room to car, as well as from the hotel to the road. Parking was easy and safe. Any issue we had we called the office, and it was pleasantly and promptly handled. Our experience was comfortable and pleasant.

The location is fantastic--walking distance to the beach. The staff is fantastic. But, ugh, the bugs. I'm not a squirmy sort of person, but when I see so many bugs of so many varieties in my room, I get creeped out. The flying beetles were the worst, especially the one that hid in my clothes.

This resort provided for all of our needs. BBQ's were cleaned everyday. It was close to all of the attractions in that area e.g. legoland and the beach.One thing that was missing was an ice machine. Great hotel except for 2 things: - the train that passes at all times of day and night! - the fact that there was only 1 bed and a sofa bed - I booked 5 people for two rooms. Expedia accepted this booking - when I arrive, I find that each room only has one bed (King) and one Sofa Bed - annoying

This location has a great view of the ocean - in the distance. The beach can be walked to, just not walked on. It is a beach where giant rocks have been placed. No sand for any great stretch. The surrounding towns/cities are very nice. Great places to eat and that's where you find the sandy beaches. We enjoyed our trip to the flower fields- it's a real must do if you can walk for 4 hours. I would not recommend this location to those who own a timeshare and we would not recommend this property for an overnight stays. There are nicer, closer to the beach properties right down the street. If you do stay, be sure to ask about their additional charge. It was a complete surprise till I saw my CR Card statement and saw a $30 charge. Mehr

From the moment we checked-in, we felt welcome. Front desk staff was friendly and accomodating. We were offered a room with a partial-view, or if we wanted to wait a little longer, a room with a better ocean view would be availalbe. We opted to wait a while - and were glad that we did! The hotel is in a great location across the street from the beach. I think I was in one of the only rooms (2nd flr) that didn't have a real view of the ocean as it was blocked by antoher building. The staff was all very nice and accomodating and the room was clean. The kitchen made this place awesome. There is not a grocery store around the corner so […] you will have to drive to one, but that wasn't bad. A few things to note. Reservations said they only had king and double beds....not the case so I ended up with a queen. Bedroom is tiny but that wasn't a big issue since we were outside most of the time. The resort itself was pretty quiet with the exception of a guest that had 5 kids running out of control up and down the hallway for several hours at a time. Also, the train tracks are RIGHT outside the back of the resot and the train and coaster run through frequently. At first I though there was a low flying plane.....by the end of the stay we hardly noticed that noise. Dollar for dollar...this resort was totally worth it. Mehr

Carlsbad Seapointe Resort is very nice. The rooms have ocean views, and the beach is just a stone through away. The rooms are very nice, and the parking is gated. Many restaurants are close too. I would stay here again!!

Wonderful staff. Booked hotel online. Got our keys n were on the first floor. My husbad called the front desk asked for a higher view. With no questions asked they gave us the top floor. Wonderful stay!

Overall, this resort was great. We checked in late as we had spent the day at Sea World but the front desk clerk was very professional and answered questions regarding where to grab a good bite to eat and the closest grocery store. We had a wonderful stay in a one bedroom condo. It was very kid friendly. A pool and water playground for the kids as well as a sand pirate playground. We borrowed a swim mask for our son and were able to rent a movie at the lounge for a dollar. Everything you would need in one place. The kids played video games and there was also ping pong, fooseball, […] tennis, a pool table, basketball courts, you name it. We walked across the street to the beach and had fun in the water & built sand castles. The room had a small kitchen so we bought a few groceries and made meals in our room to save some money. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! This is a gem and a find! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is a well maintained property. Our stay at the hotel was great. I would definately take the family their again as well as recommend to family and friends. The only improvement that I would request would be to be able to check in a lot earlier than 4 PM. I think this time of the day is a bit late especially when you have family. The Hotel is along a section of the Pacific Coast Highway with nothing around it. The beach is across the highway and it's a rocky beach, not sand and narrow. Above it is a state campground. I was disappointed in the location.

A well designed suite with lovely views of the Pacific rolling in on very rainy days. A warm and working fireplace. Nice lobby - games for kids to play. Things to do which I did not participate in due to family activities.

The room was very noisy. You could hear people walking around, talking and that didn't make for a comfortable stay. I will never stay there again, and I travel to Carlsbad frequently. You have to drive to restaurants, which adds to the inconvenience.

The Carlsbad resort is perfect for holiday with family. For us who were tourists travelling through and staying only two days, it was a bit of a surprise to get a fully equipped timeshare apartment.
