The Cliffs at Peace Canyon - Las Vegas

Für diese Anlage haben wir uns kurzfristig im Dez.2011 entschieden , nachdem wir wegen Schlechtwetter unseren Sedona Aufenthalt stornierten. Den vielen positiven Bewertungen können wir uns 100% ig anschließen . Die Anlage ist fantastisch , die Wohnung sehr groß und gemütlich , sogar mit Waschmaschine u. Trockner . Die Küche verfügt über alles was man […] braucht . Das Personal war sehr freundlich . Wir haben auch nicht festgestellt , daß irgendwelche Leute einem Verkaufsveranstaltungen aufschwatzen wollten , wie man es so oft von anderen Timesharingresorts liest . Es gibt auf Anmeldung einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum und vom Strip. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen. Zur unserem geplanten Aufenthalt im Mai gibt es leider derzeit wohl keine Kapazitäten bei Hotels .com ? Schade ! Mehr

For the price of a middle range hotel room, you get a one or two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen in a nice neighborhood. There is a shuttle to the strip, shopping and a passel of restaurants within blocks. The only drawback is that you make yor own bed. The apartments are cleaned twice a week. I stayed at this place several years ago. My goal was to attend a conference in Vegas - which is within driving distance - but not be near the strip - which is noisy and dirty. My wife and I loved our 1-week stay here. The facility and the staff were great. The next time we go to Vegas we know where we will be staying.

Hotel is lovely, front desk staff welcoming and helpful. Units have nice layout. Shuttle to downtown, although we did not use it, seems a great service. Would definitely stay here again.

Why would we stay anywhere else?

I had always stayed on the strip before, but this was a different and great experience. Distance to the strip is the only down side of this hotel but very good neighborhood close to all kinds of shopping. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the strip, or if you have car it is only a 15 minutes drive. Swimming pool and hot tub were wonderful. There […] is no resort fees or any other hidden fees. This was a great surprise with a 1 BR condo and full kitchen, laundry room, 2 TV's and DVD player and full living room. The only negative was if you are noise sensitive when sleeping bring ear plugs. The AC compressors are below the windows so when running, the compressors can be noisy. With ear plugs, it was very quiet and comfortable.

Pool was broken and it was obvious that the furntiures in the room need to be replaced.....they may have been working on that when we got there. The location is very convient between Sedona and Grand Canyon......not bad deal....would expect not to have all the perks as they proudly boast.

We stayed here for four nights. Two grandparents, two parents and two children (1.5 yrs and 3.5 yrs old). Room was comfortable and nice. The carpet in the living room was so dirty that your feet would turn black if they walked on it barefoot. Otherwise, no real complaints. Kitchen was great. Full size laundry was also great. Closet in master bedroom […] was gigantic. Plenty of room to spread your bags around. The pool and hot tub were used a bunch during our stay. Mehr

We have stayed at Cliffs at Peace Canyon at least 10 times. It has all the amenities of home. Good location for restaurants and off-strip shopping. There is a target a few minutes away. Great place to stay when traveling with kids. Clean and quiet.

The Cliffs at Peace Canyon is a beautiful condo complex, with all the comforts of home in your rooms. The full use kitchen was perfect after a week on the road eating restaurant meals, and included a dishwasher and laundry facilities in the room. It was not far from grocery stores, but if you are looking to spend a lot of time on the strip, it is 20 […] minutes away. The shuttle schedule was consistent and the drivers were knowledgeable about good spots to dine. Our room was next to the pool, which was lovely.The only drawback to this was the hours that the pool could be used. It was open for swimming until midnight, and on our first night there, it was used by a rather loud group until that time. They did respect the rules though, and got out at midnight which was good. The decor in the one bedroom condo which we were in was very tasteful and elegant. I would stay at The Cliffs again and would recommend it to those travelers who want to distance themselves from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Mehr

Very nice for the price. A few minor maintenance issues typical of any hotel these days, but overall a nice property. Full kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer which are very nice for extended stays.

The Cliffs offers a spacious, comfortable place to stay away from the strip. When you are in Las Vegas with children under the age of 21, staying in a casino can be difficult. They must be accompanied at all times, and there is very little for them to do. We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo. My husband and I had gone to Vegas with a friend, so it was awesome that we had a bedroom to ourselves, and my friend could sleep on the pull out couch in the living room. The room was clean, and the largest room we have ever stayed in. It was very reasonable too. The only problem was that it was a bit of a drive to the […] strip, but it was worth it. It was very comfy, they had quick service, they didn't charge a nightly resort fee or charge extra for parking, they had a wonderful kitchenette which allowed us to heat up food. Loved it. Would recommend this hotel to those travelling with family and want to be away fm The Strip. The room are huge. Their BF was nice and hot. Location quite inconvenience for those w/o car.

My business comes to vegas twice a year. Generally we stay next to the strip but end up not getting enough rest due to the convenience of the strip being right outside. The cliffs was perfect for getting our work done at the annual basketball tournaments and was better than what I had originally thought. i suppose the rate was to just fill the rooms, but for me it was a great deal. I wasn't there to gamble, but instead attend a conference, so the location was convenient to west Las Vegas (Sumerlin Drive) convention centers. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I completely avoided the strip scene! This is not a hotel, but rather a place to rent […] a suite for a week or longer stay. The suite had a full kitchen with enough dishes and pans for living, with a TV lounge area, king bedroom and full bath. The suite would've been luxurious for myself and my wife; probably too small for kids also. Staff was friendly and responsive. I didn't visit the pool area in my short stay, but this sounded like the place to be. Not loud, just festive. If you get the sub-century rate, then it's a great place to stay. If you get the regular rate, then keep looking, 'cause there's lots of rooms in places all around. Mehr

Pleasant, comfortable, & clean place to stay. Beds were comfortable. Couldn't hear neighbors. Pool was clean. Workout room had variety. Grounds were very pretty & it was far away from the loud party goers! Great place for a quiet get-away or for your family.

Had a great experience once again I have stayed here many times a great clean place to stay.

For people who like the outdoors (like myself and my wife) the west side of Vegas is the place to be. The Cliffs at Peace Canyon are convenient for us as they are situated on the west side of the city and close to desert hiking as well as shopping & restaurants. The Cliffs are like our "home away from home" - very comfortable, clean. The pool and jacuzzi […] are great and the whole facility is clean and safe. our stay was wonderful. our apartment was completely outfitted with everything we would need for a months stay. bedding and other linens were very soft. furniture very comfortable. maid service much appreciated. cabinets needed refinishing. would have been nice if some baking pans were provided ie; cookie sheet, loaf pan etc. had trouble with tv remotes, […] but it was taken care of immediately. would definitely stay again. Accessibility was amazing! Fifteen minutes to amazing, remote, gorgeous scenery.........and 15 minutes in a different direction to the Strip. And close by a number of good restaurants and shopping. We'll hopefully be back!

Perfect for anyone with little ones. This was our first out of state trip with our 15 month old, so we weren't sure what to expect. I have family & friends in Vegas, so we didn't go to hang out on the Strip. This worked out perfect. Non-smoking, which is almost difficult to find there, and I knew I didn't want our baby surrounded by smoke all the time. […] Only 15-20 min from the Strip if you do want to go, but the surrounding area is really nice. Lots of shopping, restaurants, grocery stores. We had the 1 bedroom unit, and it was laid out very nice. Can't beat a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer in your room! Want a large room/condo in good condition for a low price? Don't want to deal with the hassles of the strip and prefer a little peace and quiet? If so, the Cliffs at Peace Canyon are for you. Being outdoor enthusiasts, my wife and I felt the Cliffs were ideal for a quick drive out to Red Rocks or Blue Diamond. When the weather turned bad (unusual for […] Vegas!) we were happy to go back and enjoy a soak in the hot tub. The "Hotel" appears to be a previous condo community that has been renovated for timeshares and condo rentals. The condo we stayed in was very clean, very spacious, nicely decorated and quiet. Some of the other clientelle/ permanent residents may detract from the overall impression. However, we would, without a doubt, stay there again. Between the extra amenities(ex.: free movie rentals, washer and dryer in the condo, fully functional kitchen), no casino smoke, better pricing compared to hotels in the same area, and nicer accomodations, the Cliffs have certainly earned our repeat business. This was my second visit after I was so impressed during my first visit only two months ago. The Cliffs is a nice vacation get away, quiet just far enough from the busy Las Vegas hustle and bustle. I totally reccommend it for couples or families.

The price was good for the overnight stay the rooms are convetted apt/condos the room needed painted and carpet shampooed. overall its was okay more of a family resort

The price was great for the comfort and amentities. The pool and bbq area were nice. The set up of the condo's made them very private.

We have family in Las Vegas and usually stay at houses and sleep on the floor or kids' beds. This time we decided to look around, and found the Cliffs at Peace Canyon. The price was amazing, and we had 2 bedrooms & 2 baths to ourselves. The pool area and bbq are amazing, and we had family members over for swim and bbq, and the kids played pool... It […] was great. They have complimentary DVDs to use, and the exercise room was great. This will be the first place we look in Vegas from now on. Mehr

We simply needed it for 14 hours, as we had a wedding in South West Vegas... it was two miles from the venue, so it worked perfectly, and we would have been "up a crick," as it were, had we stayed downtown... Bed was comfy, showers were hot, and really, it was outfitted with full living commodities (pans, washer-dryer, etc)... so, yeah, i'd use it again, […] b/c i didn't get to use the pool, and it did look nice enough (if i ever go back to vegas). This place was Awesome! I reserved a 2 bedroom suite for my 23 yr old son and his girlfriend and me. OK, what was I thinking? HAH! They had a water main problem and the best they could do was give me 2 one bedroom suites! They were in the same building, that was nice. When we each walked into our suites, it was like watching Estreme Makeover/Home Edition! […] We had a full kitchen that was huge! Full refrigerator too! We even had a walk-in closet! I can't say enough great words about this place! The kids were downstairs and I was upstairs. Mine had a balcony, fireplace, really I wished I was there for a week. The kids didn't have a fireplace but they had a washer/dryer! Awesome place to stay!!! I wished we could have stayed longer, they also had an awesome pool! And a hot tub! I will definitely be back! This was a perfect stay for us! It was peaceful and comfortable. Yes, the beds are comfortable, the most important item on my list. Yet, we had the convenience of a fully equipped full sized kitchen. It was wonderful to have a quiet breakfast at our leisure and eat in or out depending on our desires. if you have a family you well not find better than that (keitchen is perfect) just carry your food only

this is a nice condo development but I had a major problem. after checking in very late at night and then going to dinner I came back to a very cold condo. Turned up the heat and then froze all night long. When I checked out and reported the problem they said that some thermostats didn't work.

If you want something away from the strip but with plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants, this is a great location. Staff was very friendly. Shuttle to the strip was convenient.

I stayed with a group of six people in three 1-bedroom condos at this place, and we all liked it a lot. The in-room laundry facilities were very convenient, and we made good use of the gas grills at the pool. The kitchens are pretty well stocked with basic utensils, pots and pans, but be prepared to go out and buy any ingredients if you want to cook. […] They supply salt and pepper, and that's it. The overall appearance of the place is nice and clean, but not too ritzy. Remember that they are operating on a budget, so nothing is too luxurious. However, I think they did a very good job within their means. If you're looking for a resort where you can hang around all day and be treated like a king all day by the pool, there are better, more expensive places to go. However, if you are looking for a nice place to come back to after a long day, where you can cook some dinner and have a good night's sleep, this place is perfect. I would be careful leaving stuff in the dishwashers if you are there for a long stay. The cleaning staff will run the dishwasher if there's anything thing in it, which in our case resulted in a very nice water bottle (not dishwasher safe) getting melted. The cleaning staff did run out to REI the same day to replace it, but if you can avoid that issue, that's probably better. Check in was easy enough, as was check out, but I would be wary of the free breakfast that they offer. Remember that this is a time-share company, and they will spend some time trying to sell you property. If you decline promptly and firmly, they are very polite about it. There is a computer room which allows you 15 minute bits of internet access and printing, which is useful for getting boarding passes on line. It can be a bit crowded, but access wasn't too bad. If you really need internet access, you can sign up for wifi in your room. The rollaway beds are nice, but for people above a certain size, I would recommend taking the mattress off and putting it on the ground. That Mehr

Condo was located in a new neighborhood with all the shopping and resturants you could want. The rooms had everything you could want big kitchen two bathrooms was great. My only complaint was the walls were to thin. When the people moved around upstairs you would have thought they were moving furniture or they had an elephant with them.

We have stayed here before and absolutlely love it. In fact, Cliffs has become our favorite place to stay in LV. We love the "apartment" versus "hotel" atmosphere, and the pool/jacuzzi is very lovely. We highly recommend it to anyone!
