Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. "Enjoyed the stay, but..."
We were there for a romantic getaway and was looking forward to sleeping in on a week day, but that wasn't the case. The maids were extremely loud knocking on the room doors. We also arrived very early on a Saturday and to not offer in room service until 5 pm was a bummer especially after a 5 hour flight.

Hotel was nice enough , I was a little surprised that you had to pay 10.00 a night for parking , one would think it would be included . Also I was pleasantly surprised when I seen a couple of bottles of water in the room untill I seen they were 4.00 a bottle . Also I have stayed in much lesser areas with the same quality rooms and amenities and had […] a free breakfast Wich we had to pay for here. I don't want to make my own waffles and have to pay to do it . I'm not cheap but I do have expectations , I would rather pay a little extra per night then get buckle and dimed . "Better than expected - VERY NICE!"
This is the first time we have stayed in Bellevue and we were hopeful that Marriot would be a nice place to stay. I was very impressed. The location was awesome. Right in the middle of downtown with lovely views from the balcony. The room was very nice, impeccably clean and the only complaint would be how the cable is difficult to operate because the […] first thing that turns on is the paid channels and no easy instructions on how to get to the regular channels. But that was easily solved with a call to the front desk. Otherwise we were VERY happy with this hotel and more than impressed. Mehr

"Convenient and comfortable"
If you are needing to be in Bellevue this is a great choice. Very conveniently located right off 405 and very close to the junction of 90. I thought the hotel staff was very good. I asked them for a change of room from the first one they gave me. And they changed it for me (outside facing room) no problem. The front desk staff even walked the key up […] to my room. Now, thats something I am not used to for a US hotel. I liked the Starbucks pretty much in the hotel and the bar was a great option to get that late night pint given the rain in Seattle. No need to step out. Other pluses convenient parking with direct access for guests to hotel floors. If there is one issue - smokers will find it tedious - completely non-smoking. And the inside rooms which look into the courtyard can be a tad dark. But hey, that just is Seattle weather. All in all I would recommend it. Mehr

We love staying in the Bellevue area. We are literally across the street from premier shopping and restaurants, and when we're ready for downtown Seattle; we are only a freeway away.

First my gripe: the bathroom floor had sneaker tracks and I don't wear sneakers... BUT, other than that the room was NICE, along with the hotel, and the surrounding neighborhood. Great restaurants at walking distance along with a deli/convenience store. And the staff was very helpful. Got in mid-morning so I decided to see if I could drop off my luggage […] as check-in wasn't until 2p.m. The young lady who attended me instead found a recently cleaned room for me to check in to 3 hours early without any hassle. "Excellent hotel, great location"
This was a great place to stay in Seattle. The hotel is nice and clean. The Starbucks on site is a plus, and its walking distance to two big malls with more dining options. It's still convenient to downtown Seattle, about 20 min drive. They do charge $10 per night for parking.
"Courtyard by Marriott in Bellevue Washington"
The service was courtesy and friendly. When I signed in they immediately offered me a wheelchair accessible room at no extra charge. They helped me storage my luggage on Sunday while I finished my Convention and waited for my transportation to arrive. The waiting are in the Lobby was comfortable and pleasant. Many thanks

"Nice- everything you need, and affordable"
The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking is available and is reasonably priced ($10 per night). Wireless internet is available and complimentary in the rooms. I used the fitness center and found it very nice, with top of the line equipment. I didn't use the indoor pool, but glanced in, and it seemed […] very nice as well. The location wouldn't be great if you wanted to see downtown Seattle, but it was perfect for our conference located in Bellevue, and it's very convenient to the highway. I am truly thinking of returning very soon for more pampering and relaxation. The hotel staff checked me in early and graciously allowed me a leisurely 2:00 pm checkout. Thank you! Between the perfectly clean and luxurious sheets, I relaxed with a good book and finer room service. "parking and plumbing a big problem"
this was a nice, well-located hotel. However, the parking garage was ridiculously small. We got the last spot and I literally had to bend myself like a pretzel to get out of my car. Getting back in the next morning was even worse (if I was obese or elderly I would not have been able to bend myself to the extent I did to get in the door). BTW--I have […] a small sports car so it's not like I was trying to get into a big truck. The toilet tank in our bathroom took forever to refill--I could live with that noise. However, it was difficult to listen to the sound of the toilets above, below and all around me everytime a guest decided to use the bathroom. It was baffling to me that a first rate hotel could be constructed so poorly as to provide an all-night serenade of running water. We'll pass the next time this pops up as a selection. Mehr

This hotel was excellent in all areas. It is in a convenient location right off the freeway. It is very well maintained an upscale for a only being a 3 star. The staff was great. If I HAD to complain (and it would be a very, very small comlaint) would be that the parking garage spaces were very small and compact and was tough to park in when crowded. My husband and I stayed here a couple of nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and overall was a great experience. I definitely recommend it.

....second half of a 4 night stay...the front desk couldn't keep my parents in the same room for a continuing stay due to "remodeling" to completed on a "Sunday." Seriously?! Oh well, it was a good stay otherwise...

"Just okay for a night!"
Well I had a morning meeting in the downtown so I choose this hotel. The receptionist was very firm and unflexible to change my room location as I wanted a good view. I did not find the mattress comforable for the price which I paid in for the room. This hotel is okay for business trip but not suited for family vacations.

"Great place to stay!"
The room was very nice and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. There was a nice Japanes restaurant next door. The food was great as well. The hotel had a lovely breakfast and very helpful staff all around. They were all very willing to help with any questions or situations I had to deal with. I really enjoyed my stay.

I had a nice stay. Good location close to shopping and dinning. All within walking distance. Ample parking even for a larger vehicle. Very easy to get to, in and out of location. "Excellent all-around"
Comfortable room, friendly service, and a great neighborhood. Parking is also available at a reasonable $10/day. Stayed here on business for two nights in November 2010, and when I return I will definitely stay here again.

"Good N Bad"
The beds were so comfortable, area was great. close to a lot of places. the rooms were nice and very clean and comfy. The only thing that I didn't like about my stay was being woke up by housekeeping at 10am the next morning pounding on our door wanting to know what time we were leaving????? I called the front and expressed how rude i thought that was, […] and they should figure out another way of knowing if people are gone or not? never had that happen ANYWHERE i have stayed before, and when you pay for a room until noon, you shouldn't feel pressured to leave, or be woken up. Other than that, I would recommend the place. Also keep in mind they will charge you an additional ten dollars a night for parking. Mehr

"Nice area but, parking is an extra $10 a night"
The front desk staff was friendly and the room was clean. However, the bed sheets smelled like mildew - that same smell you get when you wait a while to put wet clothes in the dryer. The housekeeper stepped on my boyfriend's glasses while she was cleaning. She picked them up and left them on the bathroom counter and didn't leave a note. We called the […] front desk and the manager was understanding and offered to reimburse my boyfriend for the repairs. If you park your car in their underground lot, it's $10 a night.
