nachts auf den umliegenden Straßen sehr laut, da Szeneviertel - besonders am Wochenende - und die nächtliche Müllabfuhr tut ihr übriges. Ansonsten alles bestens.

Das Hotel befindet sich unmittelbar in der Nähe zur Gran Via. Eine Metrostation befindet sich etwa 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel. Die Gassen um's Hotel könnten angenehmer sein. Vor allem Nachts. In der Hotelbeschreibung steht, dass jedes Zimmer über "Stadtblick" verfügt. Leider stimmt das wohl nur teilweise, denn wir hatten ein Standard-Zimmer und "Innenhofblick". […] Für einen Kurztrip ist das Hotel durchaus empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer hatte für 2 Personen die passende Grösse und es wurde immer sauber gehalten. Das Zentrum um die "Plaza del Sol" erreicht man zu Fuss in ca. 10 Minuten. Das von außen unscheinbare Hotel ist im Inneren sehr komfortabel und gepflegt. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend, unser Zimmer (zum Innenhof) war äußerst ruhig. Das Hotel verfügt über ein eigenes recht gutes Restaurant. Die Preise an der Bar waren durchaus vernünftig. Alles in allem ein Hotel, das wirklich weiterempfehlenswert ist.

Auskünfte und Ausflugs-Tips an der Reception immer sehr gut! Frühstücksbuffet leider etwas knapp bemessen, man musste immer wieder nachfragen, ob es noch Früchte, Käse oder Fleisch gebe. Frühstücksraum zu klein. Aber - man gab sich immer grosse Mühe und reagierte schnell - ist halt Spanien! Ich würde das Hotel aber wieder wählen.

I really loved this hotel, service was excellent, location insuperable and staff always making the best suggestions on what to do.

Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. There was a lot of noise from the street, which made it difficult to sleep. The area around the hotel had plenty of places to eat and drink and it was close to buses.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome; the staff extremely friendly.Although the neighborhood was not posh, it felt very safe at night and the street was lined with small, lively and pleasant restaurants. Hotel is in a great location and convenient to public transportation, the Gran Via and the Museums. The staff and cleanliness of the property was great. The only issue I found with the hotel is that I was put in an inside room facing a courtyard. Air circulation was poor. The Lusso Infantas was a brilliant hotel - lovely rooms, fantastic location but it's best asset was the lovely staff. Helpful and friendly - I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Giod 4* hotel, excellent service. Large, clean rooms. Good location, right in the centre and within walking distance of everything. Would go again

Very pleased with the location of the hotel The room was pretty basic.certainly not luxury. The bed mattress was a little too hard for my tatse, The best feature in the room was the small balcony. Great places to eat and drink. Walking distance to many tourist attractions. Some shade areas around with some professorial girls/men a few blocks away, but not to bad.

What a perfect hotel. Price was great staff was so friendly and helpful. They even overheard us talking and heard it was my Birthday and when we returned back to the room found a bottle of champagne and tiny little card for my Birthday. The room did get hot but im sure if we asked someone would've told us how to adjust it. I called the front desk about […] making calls and they always helped and also with Internet password. My stay in this hotel was perfect in that it was located centrally to all that one would hope to see in Madrid. The room was clean and comfortable and plenty big for this traveler. And, most importantly, very quiet for a hotel situated in a busy metropolis like Madrid. I gladly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Great hotel! Cleanliness is a must and this hotel was great! Good location too, right in the center of everything with great restaurants around it and close to the metro. Overall I would definitely definitely say it is worth the money to stay here if you can find a good deal!

Charming reception staff in very pleasant hotel. I was on 1st floor where there was a lot of street noise. Staff did suggest a higher floor would have been quieter. This hotel was located in a convenient area. Close to the Gran Via, Metro Stations, Chueca and restaurants. The only problem I had was the room was way too HOT...you could not adjust the thermostat. I kept the window wide open! It was 86 degrees in the room while it was 30 outside!! Other than that, it was a nice hotel!! Would stay there again!

Extremely firm beds and no temperature control systems within the bedrooms. Or none that would send out cold air, at least. Also, pack a pair of earplugs, as the noise from the street is excessive, even with windows securely shut. On the plus side, the location of the hotel is great.

Their staffs were not very helpful.

Good hotel in good location. Front desk upgraded my room but acted strange when I asked for regular coffee the first night. Due to my free upgrade, that was not possible - strange. Otherwise, the hotel is walking distance to the Metro, grocery store nearby too.

We stayed at the Lusso Infantas for 7 nights and truly enjoyed our stay.The location was perfect. There were so many restaurants and shops and even though we ate 4 times a day :-) there was always somewhere new to try! I loved Chueca! We would definitely stay there again!

The Lusso Infantas hotel is a small (4 floor) hotel where you matter. The staff was very kind and knew who we were by the second day of our stay (just from coming and leaving the building). There was free wi-fi, an excellent bathroom/bedroom, breakfast was good (considering finding things open in the morning is difficult in Madrid) and the price was […] exceptional. In bang for the buck sense (price was cheap too), I don't think you can get better. We stayed at the Vincci Arena too and it was nothing to phone home about. One of the best hotel experiences I've had and I wind up traveling frequently! Mehr

My wife and I staid at the Lusso Infantas in Chueca for a weekend getaway to Madrid. We chose the hotel for its location and price. We were not disappointed. I was a little concerned about staying here after reading some of the reviews that mentioned how loud some of the rooms were. However, we were put in a first floor room towards the back, so we […] did not get any of the street noise that other reviewers had mentioned. There was some room from other rooms and creaky floors, but nothing so bad to disturb sleep. The location is incredibly convenient to the vibrant nightlife of Chueca and convenient enough to central Madrid to see the sites during the day. And the people at the front desk were incredibly helpful with directions and suggestions. I will stay here again on my next weekend getaway to Madrid. Mehr

This was a great hotel in a handy location to everything for a short city break. Room was a bit small but we hardly spent any time there anyway. Walk straight up the street to fabulous tapas bars and the city shopping. Couldn't really want for more for price and location - if I went to Madrid again, I'd probably stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location to get to and from the airport by airport bus between the city centre and the Prado and Retiro Parks. The hotel is in great condition, we found no outside noise but the wooden floors did make movement in the corridors and the above floor very loud. In-room free wifi was great. Comfy bed and decent sized room.

Close to major attractions ..air conditioning controls are very difficult to understand ..have staff set them for you ..supermarket on same street for water etc ....

I would definitely stay at this hotel if I visit Madrid again. Professional and friendly service - good location and very clean rooms.

Great location in central Madrid near the La Chueca neighborhood; 2 blocks from Gran Via but on a quiet street. Near Metro. Spacious room and bathroom, very up-to-date. Public area of the hotel small but neat. Only negative was that the bed was overly firm and uncomfortable.

The hotel was very comfortable with helpful staff and was set in a colourful area with many little bars and restaurants. It felt very safe and there was a supermarket a few meters away. We could walk to all the major sites. The floors were wooden so there was some noise from other guests coming and going during the night, however there was no street […] noise.We would certainly stay here again. Mehr

The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English well which is a rarity in Madrid. The room we stayed in was spacious, the bed was comfortable, but the wifi was a bit unreliable and dropped out in certain places in the room. The air conditioning was also not very cooling. But the hotel was in a good location for tapas, and there were lots of cool […] bars for drinking nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. Mehr

This was the third time I have stayed at Lusso Infantas. I was thrilled that some of the same people were still working at the desk because they are just so nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious. And, next year when I go back to Madrid I will be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay in Madrid. The hotel staff was excellent and the area and rooms were spotless. The location was good- a little off the beaten path. I would choose a room on a higher floor since we were on the first floor and could hear a lot of street noise. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed four nights. Friday and Saturday nights were almost unbearably noisy, as hotel sits right on what is apparently the gay bar strip of Madrid. Asked to change to an inside room, but was told all twin bed rooms face the street. Night desk clerk, very friendly; morning desk clerk, not friendly at all. Location adequate if you don't mind a bit of […] a walk to subways. Pillows flat as a pancake, interiors a bit worn. But, certainly clean enough and a good price ..... if you can somehow find a quiet room. Mehr

We stayed at this hotel during our stay in Madrid. The hotel was in perfect location and extremely clean. Rooms are good size, although they do not come with all the amenities you find in US hotels (iron, chest drawers, etc.). We walked everywhere, Plaza Mayor, Prado, Mercado San Miguel, Plaza Santa Ana, as well as in Latina and Lavapier. A block from […] the hotel there is a local bakery, La Panaderia, which had the best pastries and fresh-squeezed juice. We had breakfast there every morning. For Starbucks aficionados, there was one right across the hotel. It came handy the morning we left since the bakery was not open (8:30am is too early for Spanish businesses). The hotel is located in Chueca, which has plenty of good restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Mehr

I was worried after reading all the reviews but i couldnt be happier!! We had two interior rooms on 2nd and 4th floor. Aircond was great but did tur ln iff when u left the room. So we left one key inside if we wanted it cool when we returned. No noise problems. Bathroom was huge and updated nicely. Morning breakfast was a nice selection of items. I […] would stay again!! Loved this hotel. Clean, city size room, decent bathroom. Great location. Easy to walk to anywhere in Madrid central. Bring earplugs- streets are noisy with Madrid night life. Would stay here again.

This hotel was very good overall; it's clean and centrally located. The room was well-equipped. Also, though overpriced, the breakfast buffet was very good, with a range of local and international items. For the budget-conscious, there is a Starbucks across the street--and there is a very good supermarket several doors down the street. The service, […] however, was minimal--which one would perhaps expect from the tiny little reception desk they have... The staff is definitely more helpful, when you make an attempt to speak Spanish. All in all, this appeared to be the best hotel in the Chueca area. I will definitely stay again. Mehr

This is not a 5 star in terms of traditional luxury, deserves a 5 because of it's helpful staff, cleanliness, beautiful wood floors throughout, reasonable rates, and unusually large rooms (by European standards). Location is very good. I could easily walk everywhere. It's not in the heart of a popular plaza, but it is across the street from a Starbucks. […] The only minor problem I had was that the wifi does not work well. That would have been bad i needed to work, but I was on vacation, so it wasn't a big problem. I highly recommend this hotel. Mehr

Great location for walking in central Madrid to cultural attractions and museums but you will have to walk or take a metro if shopping is your goal. Hotel is great value if you are staying more than three nights. Metro station (Bank of Spain) is very close by. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, and the hotel restaurant is reasonably priced. There is […] a grocery store up the street but it is inconspicuous. Rooms are small but ideal for a vacationing couple. Not really suitable for business people. Free wireless internet worked without problems. Mehr
