Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

"Das Hotel mit dem TOLLEN Kundendienst"
Das Westin am Times Square war erstaunlich. Die Lage großartig! Das Personal war super freundlich. Wegen der Abschlussfahrt meiner Tochter waren wir zu fünft dort und alle fünf sagten, dass wir wiederkommen müssen, weil es dort noch viele Dinge gibt, die wir gerne tun möchten.
Das Zimmer,das ich bekam, hatte einen Klimaanlagen-Ausblick. Der Zimmerkellner scheint zu viel Wert auf Trinkgelder zu legen.

Fantastisches Hotel! Sauber, geräumig und in bester Lage. Kleine Probleme beim Einchecken, sogar bei 7 gebuchten Zimmern! Jedem (allen 14) gefiel es.

Das Hotel war sehr gehoben mit europäischer Atmosphäre und Ausstattung. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel, der Portier hilfsbereit. Das einzig Negative war, man uns sagte, wir müßten 30 Minuten vorher Bescheid sagen, um unser Auto vom Parkplatz holen zu lassen, aber es dauerte dann länger, bis es ankam. Insgesamt eine sehr positive Erfahrung.
"Gutes Hotel, gute Lage, aber man zahlt dafür!"
Wir blieben hier 2 Nächte und können wirklich nichts bemängeln. Nicht weit vom Times Square und in der Nähe der Hafenverwaltung, sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erfreulicherweise zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Luxuszimmer war eher schmal geschnitten, aber für uns völlig ausreichend, und es bot eine gute Sicht auf New York. Die Bars in der näheren Nachbarschaft […] schienen gegen 1.30 Uhr zu schließen, aber wir schauten nicht ernsthaft nach noch später geöffneten. Wahrscheinlich ist es am besten, in der Hotelbar nichts zu trinken. Ein Glas Wein kostet Sie 17 $, ist also eher von der teuren Sorte. Für etwas Preisgünstigeres lohnt sich der Weg nach Hells Kitchen. Mehr

Kein ruhiger Ort, aber hervorragende Lage, falls jemand zentralen Zugang zu allem zwischen den Flüssen sowie Up- und Downtown haben möchte.

Schönes und stilvolles Hotel mit einem gutenund zuvorkommenden Personal in einer der früher etwas schäbigeren Gegenden von New York. Ein guter Ort für den Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage von New York City.
Mein Bruder und ich reisten aus verschiedenen Städten an und waren vorher noch nie in diesem Hotel oder in dieser Gegend - es gefiel uns sehr. Das Personal war sehr nett, das Zimmer sehr sauber und ruhig – zentrale Lage, wenn man in der Gegend vom Times Square sein will … Wir kommen wieder!
"Prima Hotel"
Besonders, wenn Sie den Times Square oder eine Broadway Show besuchen möchten. Normalerweise nicht die Umgebung, in der ich bleibe, aber für diese Reise war es ideal. Es war nahegelegen zur Penn-Station und vielen U-Bahnen. Bett und Dusche im Westin waren wie üblich fantastisch.

Unfortunately my husband had my credit cards cancelled when I arrived at NY from Philadelphia.When I checked into the hotel, a minimum cash deposit was required which I could accommodate. Later that evening I treated my friends drinks at the hotel bar which I then charged to my room.This was not accepted obviously of my cash status in the account which […] I found out later. It was embarrassing at that instance and again I paid for the bill instead. When I approached reception of this, I was told I had a 'closed account' and at a click of a button it could revert to an 'open account' but always with a minimum balance. I was disappointed this was not explained to me and executed when I checked in to avoid all this confusion. However putting all that behind me, I have enjoyed my 10 nights in the hotel. Mehr
"Very convenient location"
We were very satisfied with the room and service throughout. Particularly pleased with the coffee/tea making facilities available in the room. The room was a good size. All staff were very courteous, pleasant, helpful and efficient throughout our stay.
The hotel was great except the room service was lacking. We had to call the front desk to have our room recleaned three days in a row. Then they left dirty sheets on the floor. They did not even pick them up the next day when they cleaned. They also charged our debit card for the room rate each night even though we had prepaid. It took three visits […] to the front desk to straighten this out. But we did not get the money back into our account till we were back home two days. It was good I had plenty of money. Mehr

"Convenient location but underwhelming"
We stayed at the atrium club rooms for the free breakfast and gym facilities. The size of the room was good compared to other hotels in the area. The gym was great and better than most hotels we have stayed at. The overall service was great. The atrium breakfast on the 8th floor was very basic and set in an 'office-like' environment. Food selection […] and quality was poor with stale bagels, breads and fruit. The best thing about breakfast was the San Pellegrino water. If we had known, we would have not taken the breakfast option as there are many nice cafes with freshly cooked food within walking distance of the hotel. With regard to the room, it was always cleaned on time, but details were missed...eg we had no shampoo when we first checked in and toilet paper was not replaced on a few occasions. Being avid travellers, we have stayed at many hotels in many countries and overall feel that we paid a premium price for a sub-standard hotel. Mehr

"Westin NYC Times Square"
It was not a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It would have been better if we got what we have reserved for, which was a 2 double bed room. I reserved the room 3 months in advance to make sure that may 2 teenagers are comfortable. But to my surprise, I was given a one bed room and a "complimentary" rollaway bed. I complained to the front desk but I […] was told it was based on availability only. I think that if you paid for a deluxe 2 double bed room, you should get what you paid for. Mehr

"Westin - Nice Hotel in a great location"
Hotel is situated one block from Times Square & the Theatres. Our room was clean, comfortable & large (BTW - The bed was great). We had a lovely room - King corner deluxe with good views of the city. A very enjoyable 9 night stay & would definitely consider re-booking next time we visit New York.

found this hotel a bit expensive. it says on the hotel litrature that a newspaper is delivered every morning and bath robes are supplied, neither happened. Bar prices are crazy.

Great location if your primary stay is for the theaters. The room was okay. The room service was good. We received less than satisfactory service from different bellman when attempting to get a taxi on multiple occasions.

Had an amazing time at Westin. Location, Location, Location, that's all NYC is about, right? And what a perfect location. The best is the quality of bedding and the bed itself. Super comforting. It takes all your tiredness away, woke up so amazing fresh. Best bed.

Room was nice and comfortable great view of the westside of Manhattan. Expensive drinks in Bar 10 and closed too early on friday night. Went in for a drink at 1215am and was unable to be served. Overall the hotel was well kept and by fair more square footage than other hotels we visited where friends were staying. This hotel was located in a very convenient spot by Times square and a short walk to central park. Room had a great view of times square and the river. Was comfortable and very well taken care of. 10 Bar in the lobby was fun and convenient. Would stay again.
"Perfect location for everything"
The hotel was perfect being only one block from the bus terminal and one block from the majestic theater where we seeing Phantom of the Opera. It was my wife and son's birthdays that weekend and the hotel helped to make the overnight stay an overall success. Thanks to the staff of the Westin for being very helpful to us during our stay. "Great hotel inTimes Square"
Second time there - really nice room and view. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Frances at the front desk was the bomb!
While the hotel itself was close to all the activities, they did not seem to care that we were there celebrating yesterday my daughter's 21st Birthday. I expected some sort of acknowledgment bu way of a card, champagne or free drink from the bar. Also we left our bags with the Bellman while siteseeing &u gave a tip, when picking up our bags to take […] them to our room a NEW Bellman expected a tip too! When I didn't give one a gave a VERY awful stare made us feel uncomfortable. WE took our bags to the 38th911 floor NOT him. Mehr
"Great Hotel- Except for the wait at check-in"
The title says it all. This is a great hotel in a great location. The room was very modern and very clean. The bathroom was unusually large and it seemed as though it had just been remodeled. My only complaint was check in. We got there just after 3pm and had to wait on line to check in. The line consisted of about 7-10 guests however for some reason […] it took 10+ minutes to check in a guest. It took about 40 minutes of waiting in line just to get checked in. Great location and price. Check-in was the only issue we encountered as there were only 2 people working at check-in on the Saturday of President's Day weekend at noon and one of those two was tied up with what appeared to be a difficult check-in.

My wife and I spent three days in New York to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. I had never been to New York, and my wife had always wanted to get back there. Staying in Times Square was great to be right in the middle of the action, and we couldn't have done better than staying at The Westin. The hotel was beautiful--lobby, hallways, etc. The elevator […] was fast and always readily available. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. The two best parts were the bed and the shower. Both were truly "heavenly", as described. If we ever come back to New York, we will most assuredly choose The Westin again. Mehr

"Next to Times Square"
First, this hotel is adjacent to, but not in Times Square. The room was great, and view terrific; rooms were very modern and clean. Two complaints: (1) the line for check-in was long, and slow; took almost 30 minutes, and then had to stand in line again for the keys 2 hours later (room wasn't ready). Concierge had a real attitude, like "standing […] in line twice for that long is just how we do things." (I'd fire her. (2) there was little in the way of in-hotel services; we were asked to visit Shula's (in-hotel restaurant), and when getting there found it was closed. No food service available on premises. Mehr
