The room was immaculate, the hotel staff was AWESOMSE. I wish we had been able to stay more days. A cut above.

I stayed at this hotel due to it's proximity to a seminar I was attending. Hotel staff were great and very helpful. The hotel was clean and the lobby very nice. My room was very comfortable and spacious. The king size bed had a comfort adjustment and the pillows...very comfortable. My only negative was that the room a/c wasn't turned on when we arrived and the room was REALLY stuffy. Because the room seemed stuffy there seemed to be a smell.

Great place. Except for slamming doors in the hallway, everything was wonderful.

The lobby is awesome. However, in my room, the A/C system broke down two times in one day. The engineer came in two times to fix it. It wasted my time. The engineer was very nice to give me some extra perk for my inconvenience. The manager and the receptionists were very attentive and friendly as well.

We had a wonderful stay over our short weekend trip. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accomodating. The only complaint would be that the entrance off of the main road is difficult to locate, but maybe a few more directional signs would help.

Not much to say about a business hotel that you only spent one night at. The hotel seems very clean and relatively new. The fresh cookies in the lobby were very tasty. There was a small bar in the lobby and several restaurants within a mile. The Urge Gastropub has good food and a fantastic beer selection (if you like things other than bland fizzy lagers). Easy location to conference centers

My wife and I recently went down to see her childhood friends and stayed here for convenience. The staff allowed us to check in 2 hours early and let us have a pick of the rooms. The Hilton beds were totally comfy and the hotel even had a bar and all the amenities one would need. The location is right next to a market and other food options. Will definitely […] return! Mehr

Truly a hotel with service. Staff was super, we were there for a softball tournament. They even had softball decorations for us, and opened breakfast buffet 30 min early due to our changing schedule. Thanks again for making our stay terrific...

The desk person named Mike was very nice and very customer service oriented. He was a pleasure to help us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Even though it was a last minute decision to get a room, it was easy and the accommodations were just right. It was what we needed, a getaway that was quiet and peaceful with nice clean room and ammenities. Breakfast was very good and reasonable and very attentive staff. We have Hilton Honors but we didn't get the free […] breakfast since we had gotten such a low room rate. We've used this venue before and recommended it to our family when they come to visit. Mehr

Great rooms. Excellent location since I have family in all areas of San Diego, so is centrally located. My stays are short but always pleasurable and service is excellent, staff friendly, food good.

very nice service; good location, there are some resturatnats and supermarkets in that area.

They first gave us the wrong room (two full beds vs one king) and then changed the room when we let them know. The bed was very comfortable and clean (the type you can set the firmness yourself). Very nice hotel. Clean comfortable and the staff was great.

Everything is right about this place, from price to hospitality to convenience. The staff is friendly and accomodating, the restaurant food is great, and the morning coffee is always delicious. I have stayed here several times and hope to be back again soon! Mitzi

My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The morning breakfast buffet for a modest amount was extremely tasty and well worth the money. We will definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed the complimentary cookies and coffee in the evenings.

This hotel does not provide breakfast if booked through Hotels.com. The Pool area was closed all four days we were there, for exterior painting. It is located in the back of an office/shopping center, and is crowded. Parking is in the basement, with a gate covering the entrance.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Very clean and modern, helpful and accomodating staff, and in a quiet and upscale area. We also enjoyed the resteraunt, room service and the bar. Location was good, and in close proximity to the Safari Wild Animal Park and Julian.

Nice, clean hotel, convenient location, not too far neither too close to the Highway, a lot of free parking lotsa round the hotel and in a short walking distance, good service.

This hotel is clean, quiet and friendly with good restaurants around an excellent neighborhood. Exceptional bed comfort and nice flat screen TV and microwave and refrigerator and free internet access. Free parking and nice pool in a tucked away location. I have now twice stayed here and it keeps getting better.

This hotel is exceptional. Large clean quiet rooms and tucked away on a hill with several restaurants walking distance and the 15 freeway about a minute away. It was one of the best hotels in that price range that I've ever encountered. A must stay for the northern San Diego inland area.

I know that this is hard to control, but we were in a non-smoking room in a non-smoking section, and in both the rooms around us, they were smoking. The smell was very evident not only in our room, but also in the hallways. It made it very unpleasant for me since I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I hope these people were charged a cleaning fee!!!

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. Very comfortable, friendly staff, clean rooms. Easy freeway access.

The hotel served a great breakfast, but they have a very rigid policy for no. of members in the room. We were family of 3 (Husband, wife and a 2 year old) in a King size room. And they issued free breakfast for only one person. When asked they said, the king size room is for one person, that was kinda crazy. Beach, zoo, sea world, Legoland, downtown, […] la jolla all were like 25 mins away, drive back and forth was a bit tedious. Mehr

Hotel is very convenient to activities in Rancho Bernardo. It is about a half hour from San Diego. GREAT breakfast buffet for a very fair $11/person.

If youdon't need to be close to the coast and about a 20 minute ride out of town. This fits into your plans well.

We were at the hotel only for showering and sleeping and the rooms were quiet and found the location to be within 35 minutes from the Airport, Downtown San Diego, Coronado Island, La Jolla Shores, SeaWorld, The Zoo, the Safari Park and LEOGOLAND. But the breakfast buffet is expensive for an entire week or for a family and there are very few fast foods […] restaurants in the upscale neighborhood. Luckily, there's a Von's Supermarket open 24 hours within a mile and the rooms come equiped with small refrigerators. Safe, gated, underground parking. Mehr

far from downtown but the hotel is high standard

Although the hotel was typical HGI convenience, clenliness and quality, the close proximity to I-15 resulted in continuous freeway noise. For that reason alone, I would not stay at this particular HGI again.
