Schönes Hotel, was sehr zentral liegt. Die Metro liegt in ca. 100 Meter Nähe, so dass mann von hieraus sehr gut alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, La Ramblas, oder Strand bequem erreichen kann. Zudem befindet sich neben dem Hotel ein großes Shoppingcenter, wo man selbst bei Regen sich den Tag versüßen kann. Das Frühstücki m Hotel ist allerdings völlig überteuert, […] dafür gibt es gegenüber dem Hotel ein kleines Cafe, wo man Baguette, Croissant oder auch ein komplettes Frühstück erhalten kann zu einem angenehmen Preis. Positiv ist allerdings, dass die Minibar im Zimmer kostenfrei ist und somit der Durst gestillt werden kann. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!!! Mehr

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und meckern auf hohem Niveu. Beim Frühstück gab es keinen Fisch. Im Fernsehen gab es keinen deutsches Programm. Aber ansonsten war alles bestens. Sauber und gepflegt mit einer Traumaussicht vom Pool.

Klasse Hotel mit Super Meeresblick, gläserner Außenaufzug hat was, Gleich gegenüber billiges Cafe , Frühstück dort mit Cafe plus Croissant für 2,80 anstatt teures Frühstückbuffet für ca.16 Euro im Hotel, was eh keiner alles zu futternschafft. Aufgrund der 26 Etagen haben die oben liegenden Zimmer einen tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Leider wurde über die Klimaanlage ein zum Teil starker Chlorgeruch im Raum verbreitet. Erst nach zweiter Nachfrage wurde ein Zimmertausch angeboten.

Geräumige Zimmer mit breiten bequemen Betten und einer wunderbaren Aussicht über ganz Barcelona. Ausgezeichnetes, reichhaltiges Frühstückbuffett. Spektakulär gelegener Swimming Pool. Super Anbindung mit öffentlichem Verkehr, Tram und Bus vor der Hoteltüre und eine direkte Metrolinie direkt ins Zentrum der Altstadt!

Vor dem Hotel fahren Bus, Tram und U-Bahn, womit eine rasche Verbindung zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt gewährleistet ist. Die Nähe zum Strand und zum Einkaufscenter DiagonalMar ist angenehm. Die Zimmer sind ringhörig, vor allem dann, wenn sie eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer aufweisen. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft steht das Forum, […] von dem bei gewissen Events die Bässe bis gegen Morgen die Fenster gegens Meer vibrieren lassen. Die moderne Einrichtung der Zimmer überzeugt. Der Service an der Rezeption könnte verbessert werden. die Zimmer sind nicht sauber bis zu 10 Minuten auf lift warten ist diesem hotel normal (gemäss rezeption mitarbeiter). Frühstück zu teuer

Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb am Ende der Diagonal, hat aber gute Anbindung an die Metro Station El Maresme/Forum ( L4) direkt ins Zentrum z.B Jaume 1. Bus und Tram Stationen sind auch vor dem Hotel. Für Leute die gerne eine Siesta machen wollen, um sich von den Besichtigungen in der Altsadt zu erholen, um dann am Nachmittag/Abend wieder in Innenstadt […] zu gehen ist es wohl ein bisschen abgelegen. Die Zimmer sind hell, freundlich und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die mit Meerblick (Ostseite) sind besser vorzuziehen da auf der andern Seite die Nachmittag/ Abendsonne die Zimmer kräftig aufheizen. Gelegentliche Gerüche aus der Abwasserleitung könnte man sich wegwünschen. Für Leute denen das Frühstücksbuffet zu teuer, oder zu viel ist gibt es nebenan ein Shoppingcenter oder Cafe bar's. Der Swimmingpool auf der Dachterasse ist klein aber speziell, da gute Aussicht auf's Meer. Alles in Allem ein gutes Hotel. Mehr

Sehr modernes und top ausgestattetes Hotel. Wir hatten die Junior Suite im 23. Stock und durch die vielen großen Panorama-Fenster reichte die Aussicht über ganz Barcelona. Sehr beeindruckend. Einziger Nachteil ist die etwas ausserhalb befindliche Lage, aber mit der U-Bahn oder Straßenbahn ist man schnell im Zentrum. Frühstück gut, Kaffee ließ für österreichischen […] Geschmack sehr zu wünschen übrig - Automatenkaffee. Restaurantpreise geschmalzen - wie in Hotels üblich. Pool am Dach mit super Aussicht aufs Meer, sehr schön! Auch Sauna, obwohl Damen/Herren getrennt, top. We stayed 4 nights in the Barcelona Princess, and would definitely stay again on our next visit to Barcelona. The hotel and facilities are excellent, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We only had a couple of lunches at the hotel, but the food and service were very good. In terms of location, it is a little bit outside the centre, […] but the transport links are very easy - Metro, tram and buses. We used the Metro all the time - and found it fast, safe and easy to get around. Next door is a huge shopping centre with all the top brands and plenty of breakfast / lunch options. I stayed for 5 days just after Christmas 2011..Location is very good...hotel is very clean & modern...some rooms has brilliant city view and sea view. On bad points, AC did not work through out our stay. There was a problem with the locker on the first day, but it was fixed within few hours. We have stayed here before, always through work, but this time had 2 extra down days - hence the booking via hotels.com. I actually like this hotel - it has its faults but so do others charging twice as much. Rooms are quirky and have great views whichever way you face - city or sea - and small pool on roof open all year (take note Marriott Rome!!) […] Location is at the conference end of the city so not near main sights but tube is just across the road and 10 mins you are in the centre so actually I would rather stay here and travel in than pay twice as much to be in the centre but in a much worse hotel. Couple of bad points - our room smelt of drains most of the time but didnt change as we had so much stuff with us so just bought an air freshener -also keys didnt work nearly every day which was really annoying as we were on floor 26 - again would probably have moved rooms if we hadnt got all our working gear with us. Used pool for a quick swim each day - but never any clean towels and never saw any staff check it. Breakfast pretty poor - hot food awful - probably the worst Ive had in a hotel for a long time - and staff surly - I suggest you stay room only as there are lots of places nearby and its right next to a huge shopping centre with a whole floor of food shops. Unfortunately as we were working there we had no option. Reception and other staff very good though and we would definately stay there again for any down days next time we have a conference in Barcelona. Which is actually a compliment as we spent more nights in hotels than at home and have become quite jaded by most of them - so all in all a good hotel that tries hard and charges a sensible price for what are nice rooms. Good service, good facilities - so owerall a very nice place to stay,

Compared to our hotel in Rome (Best Western Ambra Palace which we also found through Hotels.com) this hotel was a 5-start palace. The only downside was that laundry/ironing had to be purchased from the hotel services at what I would consider an outrageous rate. Fortunately, in the mall next door was a laundry service.

our room was on the 26th floor but next to the elevator so we could hear the motors running through the night but we have to say an excellent view if you decide to go here then you should learn how to use the public transport system it is very good and cheap ask the reception for details.one bit of advice if you go out at night do NOT carry a wallet […] or purse and check out the bakery around the corner near the metro station. The room was rather small but the hotel is situated in a residential area next to a shopping mall.

Located just across the road from the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) this is an excellent hotel if you are attending a conference at the Centre. However, it's not perfect. Check-in/out can be very slow if more that 2 people arrive at the same time. The 3 elevators also struggle to cope with the number of people staying at the hotel. […] My room had a leak in the ceiling above the shower and repairs were only partially effective. On the plus side, the bathrooms were modern, the blinds to block out daylight/bathroom light were excellent, and the beds were comfortable and the linen/towels very clean. Tips - you can get a decent breakfast in the cafe across the street or the mall next door. For public transport the closest metro station is only 100m away (Maresme-Fòrum station on the yellow line, L4). You will need to take a taxi or metro to donwtown Barcelona to see the sights etc although the tourist bus picks up here. Taxis to/from the airport are 35-45 euros. Mehr

Downtown was less than €10. and under 10mins. Superb little bar on ground floor, pool on roof Is perfect for hanging out in afternoon sun.

we chose this hotel to be close to the beach. Lovely quiet area. We have done the Ramblas and wanted to be closer to the beach this time. But the Ramblas is a close Metro train away.

I stayed here with family for 1 night after returning from the cruise. Made a mistake that everything in the city is closed on Sunday including the Mall right next door! Pretty conventient as close to metro, and tour buses. Taxi ride to Airport approx 40 Euros.

The hotel is not in the city center but very close to tram and tube stations, takes 20 mins to get to the city center. Hotel room and service was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 17th with excellent views of the sea and city. A large shopping mall is next door with lots of restaurants. I would stay here again if going to B […] arcelona. Mehr

A little dassapointed with buffet breakfast you had to look for everything tables all over the place very expensive .Rooms , location very good

Handy location -- right next to a shopping center, short walk to the beach, Metro 1 block away. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ATM bank machine in the lobby was convenient. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was complete and tasty. Definitely worth the money if you like a big breakfast, but if you're a coffee-and-pastry […] person, you will find lower prices elsewhere. I never did get their wireless internet to work on my cell phone, but that might have been me (although I got it to work at other hotels). Only drawn back was the ceiling that was painted black and made the room very dark.

We just arrived back from Barcelona. Stayed in Barcelona Princess 4 nights in a room with a sea View ( expect 15 Euro/ day extra charge for that). Almost 5 stars hotel even by US standards. For the price It's a great bargain, next it it is the Hilton and the Marriot, huge shopping Mall, Over all very nice hotel. Good amenities, nice pool and Spa .Friendly […] service. Bit Far from The city center if you want to be there ( Catalonya square and the Rambler). But easy accessible to them through buses (#7, 41, 36)Metro, or tram ( 1.45 euro each trip or 5.80 euro Full day pass) . The most amazing aspect of this hotel are the views. I really recommend staying on a high floor if you can. You can the Sagrada Familia from your bedroom and the city lights. My room was very spacious and had a large desk to work from. The bathroom is divided by a shower cubicle, toilet cubicle and large basin area. There is a door between the bathroom […] and bedroom. I was not keen on this set up due to the initial smell in the bedroom but after a while it went away. I would not recommend the hotel to people on a city break as it is best to stay in the centre of the city. However, it is very close to the beach, shopping centre and public transport. Mehr

This hotel is nice, I would stay here again, however, it is not near the airport so be prepared. There is a bus that runs to Catalonia Square for 5.30 Euros and you can take a cab here for 14 Euros. If you ask the staff they will say take the bus and the train. Do not do this if you have any luggage. I had 2 bags and a purse. This was torture, the train […] system has many stairs and you really have to take 2 trains. The bus and taxi are fine. I would still stay here even though it is far from the airport. The hotel is beautiful and modern. Most of the staff friendly if you don't speak Spanish, some are visibly annoyed. Don't depend on them to help you find the hotel when you arrive, just know this, the hotel is one street over from the Forum train exit. The hotel is next to a mall, with lots of food and lots of people watching. I would stay again, definitely. Mehr

Nearby metro even a bit far away from the city centre(just more 5-10mins). A large shopping mall with Primark and huge supermarket just next to the hotel and let us to enjoy the great food and shopping experience with reasonable price (at least not the high price in tourist area. This is a very nice hotel if you are attending a conference at the Forum or convention center across the street. But, if you are a tourist, it's quite remote from the parts of Barcelona you probably want to see.

modern hotel in business area . Very good transport connections to city centre and elsewhere. We were on 18 floor with good views of sea. The glass bridge to our room was something to get used to but dramatic. Economic minibar. Well heated outdoor pool with excellent sauna also outside jaccuzzi which was a little chilly for mid December but adequate. quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was great, the nassages afternoon were great. Location wa good with a nearby metro station, that took us easily to any part of the city. The room is very modern, clean. We loved the sophisticated modern shower!! A great experience (we stayed six night at the hotel).

We found this hotel to be very pleasant and reasonable. The front desk staff all spoke english and were very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with my son who is in a wheelchair and this hotel is wheelchair friendly. They offer free soda and water in the mini-fridge in the room and there is a supermarket in the mall next door to get any additional […] water and beverages. The mall next door offers many restaraunt choices. I would recommend getting a room rate that includes breakfast, it is a full buffet breakfast in their main dining room and is wonderful. The only draw back to this hotel was that the beds are very small, however this is common in Europe. Their version of a "king size" bed is what we would call a "full" or "queen" at best. Their beds also roll very easily since the floor is tile, so make sure the breaks are on on the bed wheels. Otherwise it is a wonderful hotel. Near the beach and park, across from the convention center and next door to a huge mall. Mehr

Hotel is very modern .The Glass wall of the bathroom is a bit off-putting but there was a blind that could be lowered. The bed was very comfortable. We did not use the restaurants as we spent most of the time in downtown Barcelona . The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the metro station which takes about 10 minutes to the centre of Barcelona.The […] hotel is beside a large shopping centre which would be convenient for a last minute shoping . "Modernism' find its limit here: Room is small and so the separation with toilets is glass wall. You cannot sit without hurting them (maybe this is why the glass wall was broken). What else? It truly smell urine. The ad mention free internet. In truth it is not working on the floor. One has to go to the lobby where a very slow wireless is working from […] time to time. The personal is truly discourteous and we were barked at asking for help. They nornally just ignore you. Line up could take over half an hour. There is nothing of a 4 star: No iron, no coffee in the room (but the breakfast is 19.45euros!), bad quality pillow and mattress, no towel at the pool and no water heating... For a weary road warrior, this was a very cool room. It was modern decor with glass walls that made a modest sized space seem open. The shower had interesting multiple nozzles. I stayed here one week. There's a big "American-like" mall in the building next door and attached to the hotel structure, very decent shopping and restaurants inside. The Hop on Hop off tour bus stop is right outside the hotel. Also a 3 minute walk to the underground Metro. A decent typical Spanish terrace restaurant across the street from the hotel, […] after a nice long day of walking and touring around, I had a decent chicken sandwich with fries (Patatas Fritas) and an ice cold drink. I brought my GPS to locate types of restaurants (Thai, Italian, etc) Google maps works just as well for this. The front desk and doormen were super nice. I asked if they would help me translating a few Spanish phrases and the response was, "Sure I have nothing but time, what would you like to know?" Wireless in the rooms is tricky if you're too high up, but they gave me a LAN cable to connect to my laptop (a short one) and then I scooted the bed to the wall connection and surfed from bed. There are two pools, 3rd floor and 23rd floor, clean and refreshingly cool after a session of sunbathing. I had a city view room (corner room to be specific), spectacular view of this gorgeous city, great night time photographs if you have a tripod and decent camera. I'd stay here again!! Mehr

Great hotel, 2 mins walk from the metro, easy access to beaches & city. Ask for a high floor, had a great veiw of the city. Friendly staff, would deffinatley stay there again.

Very good hotel and very close to Conference Center. Breakfasts overpriced though : eat out at the nearby cafes.

A bit far from the city center- esp if you have lots of luggage to carry as we did. Very close to tram and tube stations though and hence if you don;t mind changing tubes- not to worry about distance. Only takes 20 mins to get to the city center. Hotel itself was located near the sea front and had a shopping mall and lots of restaurants beside. I would […] stay here again if going to Barcelona. But don;t pay for breakfast (19Euros/person/day). Lots of local cafes you can go to. Jacuzzi was not working for the entire length of our stay and we complained to the manager.
