Napolitano Hotel - Santo Domingo

People was friendly, service was good, the breakfast is good for local not for turists from out of the country it was ok for me because I'm from here, overall the hotel is good, you get what you pay for it, if you looking for a place to sleep then is good. Not worth it. The first night I had to change rooms three times until I finally found one decent enough to sleep in. Roaches in bathroom, awful carpet, water from shower inundated bathroom floor every time. Elevator constantly out of order. Noisy from 2nd floor band . Rates did not reflect the quality of the hotel.

HOTEL CASINO IS CLOSED "FOR RENOVATIONS" LOWER FLOORS TO MUCH NOICE UNTIL LATE NIGHT DUE TO MUSIC IN THEIR TRRRACE EXPERTACULAR VIEW FROM YOUR OCEAN FRONT ROOM

I have stayed at the Napolitano Hotel more than 6 different occasions for business travel but this was my last stay. There was "NO HOT WATER" I called everytime I went to shower & they kept saying that there was "HOT WATER" however it was tab water. The elevator was broken for the entire stay I had to take the stairs (7th Floor). Their Breakfast buffet […] was the same toast, coffee, scrambled eggs & some fruit everyday, no variation. This was the last time that I will stay at the Napolitano, it should be rated less than 1 star and should not be even on Hotel.com Mehr

This hotel leaves a lot (if not all) to be desired. It is extremely over-priced for what it is and represents the worst value for money of any hotel that I have ever stayed in. The hallways were not ventilated and smelled of damp mold. We had to call reception at least five times as there was no tv remote control in the room and every appliance, from […] the air conditioning to the safe, seemed to have some sort of problem. Moreover, whilst the room was clean, it was quite small and everything in it appeared very dated and run-down. On top of all this, we weren't even able to sleep at night due to the ridiculously large amount of noise coming from outside and the hotel's own nightclub. Word to the wise: Do not stay here; it will leave a sour note on your vacation! Mehr

Well I'll said this if you on a low budget I think this is the right hotel for anyone that's on a low budget. Breakfast is not bad could be improve the swimming pool I think it's to small but beside that I don't have nothing bad to said the creew are very nice and friendly, like I said it need a little bit improvement that's all.

Nice breaskfast includes ham ,eggs, french toast ,natural juices and fruits etc. , also oat meal cereal .Tipycal Sto Domingo Nightlife at la Terraza until 2am , Wed thru Sat ( Don't expect to sleep without live music prior 2am.) “NO NO NO HELL NO!!! NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL” Date of review: Mar 10, 2011 - New If you want to have a good vacation, never go to this hotel. 1) they say private pool in each room, maybe i don't know what pool means...2) the sheet are cheap, dirty. To finish, the worst thing is that while my sister where around the table to take the breakfast, the waiter stole her cellphone, a blackberry. After many pressure, he decide to gave it back. He said that a customer took it, and he gave it back. He gave it back without the cover( the cellphone as a blue cover) Please, NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! i think they have to change the name. Instead of Napolitano Hotel & Casino, they must call it Napolitano Motel/cabaña and casino. Once again NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Good place to stay a few nights on a Santo Domingo. Rooms are looking fine and clean. Situation is a wonderful if you want to see a historical places and how people living normally in a town. Pool area is too big and also few sun beds found too. I recommend this hotel. Marko from Finland

I don't want to make any complaints because the price is very cheap . I have been to Santo Domingo four times in differents hotels but this one is the worst even the carpet in the hallway smells the Restaurant is a joke . lf you are cheap , welcome to Napolitano hotel .

The hotel is small and very affordable. But the room was dirty and humid, also the transit could be heard from the room. Not recommended.

The only complaint that I have was that the elevator broke down and when working was slow. Other than that, it was a great hotel with a great staff and a great location. We stayed on the 6th floor and when you opened the curtains and the glass door. You had an amazing view of the ocean. It was excellent. The casino was very small but I am used to Vegas […] gambling. Old Dirty Building. Not worth the money we paid. Rooms are old and uncomfortable, not clean at all.

The Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. However, the rooms were bad. I had to be moved to three rooms. The music was loud everyday upto 2AM. It was very hot and the A/C in the room seems not to cool the room even when set at high. The hallways were dimmed and hot because they were not air condition. This hotel is far too loud. General Manager obviously ignores the hotel guests comfort because extremely loud music is played for many hours at the hotel restaurant. This makes it impossible to sleep at the hotel. There is no excuse for this music and I have never experienced this type of harassment anywhere else. This is a hotel and not a heavy metal […] club. No recomiendo este hotel porque no lleno mis expectativas. La higiene muy deficiente. La persona que me recivio en el front desk fue desatento. Y el gerente fue evasivo cuando le presente mis quejas.

Quede satisfecho con el hotel en general. El check in fue rapido y eficiente. Los empleados muy corteses. Me gusto la localizacion ya que queda cerca de la zona Colonial y otros atractivos turisticos. El parqueo auxiliar aunque al lado del hotel estaba un poco sucio y mal mantenido peo contento de que lo tienen disponible.

Es un hotel centrico, puede moverse a otros lugares facilmente, Localizado en una de las avenidas mas conocidas y concurridas de la capital y con una vista impresionante al mar. Cuenta con un personal muy atento y cooperador. Con un delicioso y completo desayuno. Y las noches son muy amenas en la terraza. Sinceramente el personal de recepción es pésimo, de hecho el morenito de recepción como estaba tan cansado, opto por descolgar la central telefónica para que no entrarán llamadas y descansar en las altas horas de la noche, y mi esposa, llame y llame y nunca hubo comunicación. Baje al lobby y efectivamente el teléfono descolgado. Por otra parte el ASEO […] de ese hotel es terrible, y las condiciones que ofrecen es mala, la verdad un hotel viejo y antiguo, que se ve su pésima gestión de gerencia, ya que el personal en general muy desentendidos de lo que se llama "Servicio al Cliente". La verdad fue la primera y última vez que me hospede en el hotel Napolitano. Para lo que cobran de sobra puede alojarse uno en el hotel Delta que es mejor en todo el sentido de la palabra. Mehr
