Es ist gar nicht so einfach ein Hotel zu beschreiben in dem einfach alles perfekt geklappt hat. Die Lage ist ein Traum, das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf den Ozean. Zum Strand führt eine Treppe. Die Zimmer (Wohnungen) sind gigantisch groß. Per Schrittmaß haben wir für unser "Zimmer" deutlich über 100m² ermittelt. Einer unserer Balkons zeigte direkt in den Garten und war größer als manches Hotelzimmer das wir schon hatten. Der andere Balkon ging zur Zufahrtsstraße (den haben wir nicht genutzt ). Die Zimmereinrichtung ist sehr stilvoll, alle Möbel passen zusammen. Es gibt Schaukelstuhl, eine Riesencouch, 3 Fernseher ( ja einer im Wohnzimmer und in den beiden Schlafzimmern ) DVD-Player, eine richtige Stereoanlage. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet, einschließlich Geschirrspüler und Riesenkühlschrank. Im Zimmer gibt es Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das Persoanal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ledigilch die Lady am Tourdesk war für unseren Geschmack etwas zu geschäftstüchtig, aber es ist ja niemand gezwungen im Hotel irgendwelche Aktivitäten zu buchen. Wir können dieses Hotel ( trotz des relativ hohen Preises ) uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden es sicherlich wieder buchen.

Dieses Hotel liegt direkt am Strand in Maui. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider sind die Hotelzimmer sehr klein.Der Preis ist für die Lage aber toll.

Mana Kai ist für uns perfekt gewesen. Liegt direkt am Stand - man geht einfach durch die Lobby und steht am Strand. Die Happy - Hour mit den guten Sushis ist auch immer voll und sehr zu empfehlen.

Lage
Lahaina Inn befindet sich mitten in Lahaina. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar: Maui Theater und Banyan Tree Park. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehört Folgendes: Kaanapali Beach.
Ausstattung
Dieser Gasthof im Boutiquestil bietet den Gästen Folgendes: Restaurant und Bar/Lounge. Ein W-LAN Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. "Hotel liegt zentral in Lahaina"
Das Hotel liegt günstig für Lahaina Shopping/Ausgehen/Restaurants/Aktivitäten. Leider ist es sehr hellhörig. Eher für jüngere Leute als für Ruhe suchende. Zum Ausgehen sehr gut geeignet da es Zenral liegt. Parkplatz kostet 15$ am Tag zusätzlich. Man kann den Strand und das Hotel Royal Lahaine mitbenutzen da es zum Lahain Inn gehört.
"Super Lage, tolles Haus, Stauballergie no problem"
Sehr gute Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, trotzdem nachts ruhig. Super-schönes altes Holzhaus. Zimmer sehr sauber, auch für Stauballergiker geeignet (kein Teppich, keine Vorhänge). Servicemitarbeiter nur zeitweise anwesend. Kein Frühstück.
"Liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel in lauter Umgebung"
Das Lahaina Inn ist ein kleines, sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel im Kolonialstil. Es ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der belebten, touristisch interessanten Front Street und nahe des Lahaina Harbor, von wo aus Fähren und diverse Touren starten. Morgens gibt es Kaffee und Plundergebäck (inbegriffen). Parken kostet 10 USD pro Nacht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, […] das kleine Zimmer störte nicht. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal hilfsbereit. Allerdings ist es sehr laut, am Parkplatz, auf den unser Zimmer hinaussah, feierten Einheimische bis spät in die Nacht mit lautem Geschrei und Musik. Auch der Lärm von der Front Street sowie vom Parkplatz (Hupen durch Zentralverriegelung, losgehende Alarmanlagen) ist recht störend. Dafür ist man am Zentrum der Aktivitäten in Lahaina, und das Hotel selbst ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt mitten in Lahaina (also eher lärmig, aber wenn man das mag und mitten im Geschehen sein möchte, ist es ein tolles Hotel!). Jedes Zimmer hat eine schöne Veranda mit Schaukelstühlen, auf denen man sich das Geschehen auf der Strasse anschauen kann. Es gibt nur zwei geräumige Zimmer; die anderen sind sehr klein. Aber alles sehr charmant […] und sauber mit Parkettböden (!) und Hawaii-Quilts. Früher gabs kein TV und Radio, mit den neuen Besitzern des Hotels hat sich das aber geändert. Achtung: Morgens entladen laute Lastwagen vor dem Hotel die Waren für das darunter liegende Restaurant! Zimmer zum Innenhof müssen Morgens mit Lärm vom Gebläse des Putzdienstes rechnen. Lahaina Inn is well located in Lahaina. The price for a night is okay for the city and Maui in general. However, it is very hard to encounter any employee, be it a receptionist or the cleaning lady. The location is great, which is in the center of Lahaina. The rooms are on the small side, but you can't beat the price for the locaton. Plus, who stays in their rooms anyways when you have Front Street just a half a block away. I will stay again.

If you like night life and no need to rent a car...this is the place. Highly recommend the Lahaina Grill downstairs and the Gelato next door...they have the best coffe on Maui, as well. Hotel was centrally located but quiet; loys of ambience and romance. Book a ocean view for sure or you will be overlooking a parking lot!

This quaint inn is a terrific location for shopping, dining, & walking historical sites. Rooms are small but you won't spend much time there anyway. No ice, room service, etc but great parking once you figure out which spots the hotel has. Staff was very friendly. Good rate.

Small hotel with no full time desk staff. Room was small, one chair, no table, room was not larg enough to have these things. When the day clerk arrived, he was very friendly and helpful. Location is superb. No view. Clean and comfortable for a short stay. Inexpensive and a good value.

Unless you absolutely have to be within walking distance of downtown Lahaina, I would recommend you stay elsewhere. I rented an oceanside room which allowed me to see a tiny bit of the bay if I was standing on the balcony. If you sat in the rocking chair, all you see is the railing and the balcony next door. Your main view is the street. Rooms on the […] back side face a parking lot. The room has few amenities. There is no coffeemaker, miniscule soap, thin towels,and sheets so thin you can see the striped mattress. The bed is a small full size bed...I'm only 5'4" and my toes hung over. The front desk is only open sporadically and the young man who checked me in was surly. When I asked about a map of the area, he told me they had no maps. You pay extra for parking ($15) and internet on top of a pretty stiff price for the room. I've stayed in historic inns before, but they were charmingly maintained. The bathroom sink had a large crack in the bottom; the tile in the bathroom was chipped and dirty; along the entry wall was an ugly metal cover that was only partially painted and rusting. I would not want to stay there again when there are lovely hotels and condos just outside of Lahaina. Mehr

"LAHAINA INN......WHO NEEDS A RENTAL CAR?"
I am so delighted with this hotel. It is in the center of Historic Lahaina town. Beautiful ocean view, sitting in the rocking chairs on the balcony, sipping on a Corona.......that is the beginning of a Fantastic vacation. One of the best kept secrets in Maui.

We booked for the location, and loved the hotel! Much quieter than anticipated, lovely furnishings, fantastic lanai to see all the action and the ocean! The staff was very helpful. Only recommendation for the hotel: an iron and a mini fridge would go a long way!!

The Lahainaluna suite is located on top of the kitchen for the Lahaina Grill. If you like to wake up to the sound of the stereo in the kitchen at 4am and listen to it until 11pm this is the place for you. The music is occasionally interrupted by the sound of glass being tossed into the dumpster, as this room is also above that. Our only complaint is the size of the room. Beds are tough for two adults to get comfortable. Kinda noisy at night. Had to have security come and let us in when we arrived after 7pm.. No inn keeper around!

So If you are looking for a quick stay for maybe a night then the price is right.. However if you like to sleep on vacation then you're in for a surprise.. I stayed 3 nights and every morning was a disaster.. 5:45 in the morning the delivery trucks, and the garbage trucks come rolling in. Not passing through, but noise for hours. We had hot water for […] only one shower (5 - 10 min tops), and the other got a cold one.. It seemed to never get hot again.. not even warm.. COLD If that is ok then jump in... As for the rooms, the Junior suits are actually nice.. good space nice beds, and a great Deck. Now when we got moved out last 2 nights to a standard room you would have thought they cleared out the closet, put in a roll away and sold it out.. NOT KIDDING what so ever.. Quaint little hotel from the past. Clean rooms, great air conditioning, in the middle of Lahaina, within walking distance to everything.

The front desk closes at 7pm so if you arrive after that you have to wait at least 20 minutes for security to arrive and let you in.

It is pretty similar to a B&B type of lodging. Comfortable room, reasonable rate, convenient location and cheap parking ($10/day). I like the staff there especially. They are eager to help. Also, there is a booth across the street and we can just sign up/pay for activities 1-2 days in advance. This is very nice because we have not done much planning […] before the trip but we still had a full schedule. This is a cool little place that has a prime location in downtown Lahaina. You can walk to everything in town from the hotel. The pretty beach is 3 miles North near the resorts, but all the nightlife is right next to the Lahaina Inn. Parking was fine and the check in and out went smooth.

The only issue I had was my room was facing the rear parking lot. When the bars close, the party apparently moves to the parking lot under the Inn's 2nd floor balconies for about 45-60 minutes. The hotel was fine. My room had a nice balcony from which you could see the ocean, but it smelled a little musty probably because of the air-conditioning being turned on and off. The room is clean, basic and small. I got there around 9pm and there wasn't any staff to let me in. I had to wait another 15 minutes for someone to come from a different hotel […] to let me in. Excellent downtown location, 1/2 block from Front Street. No parking on site, $10 per day to park a block away. Charming 1938 Hotel, expected to see Bogart telling Sam to "Play it Again" any moment. There was a lot of confusion concerning our reservation and what room we had booked. It all worked out good for us as they ended up putting us in the suite […] as an upgrade. Convenient, walk to shops, food, and the beach. Efficient Air Conditioning. All the desk personnel were very friendly and accomodating. Desk staffed from 11 AM until 7 PM only.
