Less than sixty rooms with full fitness facilities as well as dining options over-looking a breath-taking view combine for a unique experience. Room decor is slightly dated but they are soon to start upgrades. Take a break and enjoy this hotel.

This hotel was wonderful discovery, great value and minutes to Breaver Creek & Vail ski areas. The staff was very welcoming, confortable rooms, facilities & dining room. The perfect location for relaxing stay!

Stayed @ Cordillera 4 nights--although a 20 min. drive from Vail, totally worth it and much better than Vail resorts! True 5-star luxury experience: service, spa, food, etc. Hope to stay there next year again.

The tomato basil soup with mini grilled cheese sticking out is to die for! The prime rib sliders are also amazing I think I ate this everyday A must try!

My room HD a fireplace and a beautiful view. astoundingly quiet location. Good restaurant. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

Just returned from a weekend ski trip and stayed at the Cordillera. The customer service was great - everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our only problem was the condition of the rooms...super dated! Really old TVs, old bathroom fixtures, dated furniture (except for the bed - that was fantastic). There wasn't anything wrong, but it needs to be brought […] into the 2000s. Everything was clean, though. We got a good deal on the suite thru hotels.com, so we didn't feel like we were ripped off, but had we paid the amount the hotel was charging I would have felt terrible! As for the hotel's services, we liked the shuttle that took us to Beaver Creek. The "club" there was a nice place to get your boots on, and it was ski in/ski out. However that too was dated. Our kids loved the indoor pool and the s'mores nights by the fire. Overall I'd say if you have low expectations you'll be pleasantly surprised with the Cordillera. We would probably stay again - for the right price. Mehr

The heat was not working in my room and never got fixed. It was 61.5 degrees the whole night and I froze.

Great place to go for Beaver Creek or Vail skiing with free van shuttle to slopes & ski club. Biggest complaint TV's in the room are dated. Great value!

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. The room had an amazing view, the staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was outstanding. We would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

The Lodge and Spa at Cordilleria was perfectly nestled in the scenic mountains of Colorado. The room was very spacious and had a great bathroom and beautiful view from the balcony. The 25 meter lap pool was perfect to get a morning workout in. Loved my massage at the spa. Was a little disappointed in the overall condition of the hotel. Just seemed a […] little run down for the price. Hotel food was great but far enough away that we didn't want to drive to Beaver Creek or Vail for dinner. If you are looking to be secluded this is a great getaway. Also loved the free valet parking! Mehr

I found this hotel in a last minute emergency and the rate was awesome I know it was a deal! The hotel was like a Swiss lodge worth the drive odd the beaten track! Just wish my coffee pot had worked 5 stars on the hotel I will make it a point to stay again and the pool amazing!! Thanks to hotels.com!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! It was sad to leave....we will definitely return. Staff was warm and gracious.

Cordillera is, truly, a magnificent refuge. If you are not enjoying the breathtaking mountain views, you are most certainly taking in the warm welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and handsomely appointed. The in-room fireplaces and outdoor porches lend to each rooms charm. The spa facilities, indoor & outdoor pools & well equipped gym are "top […] notch"! The staff was both friendly and accommodating. Also, the shuttle service to Vail & Beaver Creek & the private club access to the mountain, made our adventure very manageable. I would definitely recommend Cordiellera to my close friends and family. Mehr

Beautiful resort near the Vail-Beaver Creek area with complementary shuttles but isolated high in the Rockies. Excellent complimentary breakfast in a dining facility with magnificent views. Excellent pool, athletic, and spa facilities. Only negative is old TVs that need to be updated.

Very nice hotel. I don't recommend for children, but would be wonderful for a couple. They have a shuttle that brings you to vail, but comes back too early. Should have a later shuttle. The best view, and the lodge is out of town. Best breakfast, but kind of pricey at night.

I spent 10 nights at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera and would have loved to have spent even more. Although not in one of the ski villages, the lodge provides very convenient shuttle service to Vail and Beaver Creek and there are numerous restaurants and businesses within a short drive of the lodge if I wanted them. I enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts, […] as well as several of the evening dinner choices, which were superb. At the top of the list, however, was the staff, all of whom were friendly and efficient. The hotel was great in all aspects except for a few minor miscues by the staff. We were given incorrect directions to Red Sky Ranch Golf club. There was also some miscommunication via email before we arrived about our tee times.

Beautiful chateau style hotel, very cozy. We spent there a week before Christmas. The hotel was nicely decorated, live wonderfully smelling christmas trees in the lobby,.... it made feel us like being in a castle. We really enjoyed our stay, it was one of the best vacation ever.

Our stay was before the snow was good, so the mountains were very quiet. This made it feel like we had the hotel to ourselves. The food was great and the staff attentive, so it was quite relaxing. We went for a nice hike in a nearby state park. We probably wouldn't like it as much if we wanted to stay to ski, because it really is off the beaten track. […] It was great for a quiet getaway. Mehr
