Tammy was a marvelous hostess! Chic chip cookies greeted us when we arrived '& the decor is marvelous. Not fussy at all which many Victorians are. Tammy recommended Seasons for dinner ' it was so great we ate lunch there. Score our flight next day. This stay finished a 10 day trip & sent us home relaxed. Building is a great old building that has been modernized (A/C, TV) without impacting ambiance. The staff is outgoing/friendly & helpful with restaurant suggestions. With a location just on the edge of the Downtown Business District, you'll only be an 8-minute walk from the Doubletree and Hyatt hotels, the convention center, and all of Albuquerque's government buildings. My stay here was great and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The room was charming and very clean. I traveled to Albuquerque on business, but I look forward to bringing my wife here on vacation.

Friendly, courteous staff, eager to go the extra mile. Wine, chesse & crackers in the evening with an opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow guests. Incredible 'made from scratch' breakfasts & snacks. A trully welcoming experience. Very reasonably priced.

Our stay was wonderful. Very beautiful and extremely well taken care of. The house was quiet and peaceful. The complimentary breakfast was divine! It would be the perfect place to come back to when we just feel like getting away.

We stayed at the Mauger B&B for a week and it became our home away from home. Well run, clean, excellent food, and friendly service from the innkeepers. If you like warmth and character, this is the place to stay!

This is a great place to stay for couples. My wife and I will return for another stay.

We loved this historic building. Generous sized room, friendly staff and a generous homemade breakfast that's worth going for just on its own.

Nice old house but not a super friendly innkeeper. We felt rushed and timid to ask for what we wanted, Breakfast is only served from 8 to 9 which is not convenient for a relaxing vacation. Too early to be up and dressed if you had a night out before or just wanted to rest while on vacation. This place was OKay but there is nothing exciting or superspecial […] or fun to remember. Very steep stairs to rooms made me leave my suitcase in the car and run out to get individual items. A bit on the stuffy side as far as atmosphere. Mehr

This was our second stay the Brittania & W E Mauger Estate B&B, and we will definitely stay again. It has charm that is not easily found these days, and is comfortable and easy. The breakfast has been well above average for a B&B, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. We love it!

Wonderful B&B. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in Albuquerque. Tammy was a wonderful hostess.

For those who truly appreciate the allure of bed and breakfast establishments, well you will enjoy this one - it's truly a gem. The rooms are very well kept, all the necessary amenities(TV, wireless, etc.) and you really get the sense that the owner takes care of this place not just for money but for love of her space and for the enjoyment of her guests. And […] let's talk food. Upon arriving I was just in time for wine and cheese - hit the spot, very relaxing after a long drive from Texas. But after a much needed nights rest on an insanely comfy bed, I was blown away by the breakfast offered - everything from stuffed french toast, fresh fruit and yogurt, cereals, breads, sausage, fresh juice, coffee - yes, you get it, this was a breakfast to be reckoned with; a healthy satisfying meal. And I lucked up during breakfast and had the most wonderful conversation with a guest who was in town - I really think that great b&b's as this one attract people with wonderful, engaging energies. On the more practical side, the location is just off the highway - very easy to locate. There's on site parking and the location is so very quiet at night that you'll sleep like a baby. I also went out (after my wine and cheese) and just four or five blocks away is great strip buzzing with restaurants and bars. I found the people of Albuquerque to be very down to earth and friendly - a great cultural mix as well. Needless to say but I'll definitely be back. Honestly, do yourself a favor and stay here. I only wish I wasn't just stopping the night over and as trekked cross country to Los Angeles because i could have easily stayed here for a while. :) Mehr

The rooms were great and the breakfasts were gourmet quality. The manager and owner, Tammy, was very professional and very helpful with plans for our daily activities in the surrounding area.

Easy walk to everywhere downtown; friendly and welcoming host; I'll stay there again

There were no hosts at this B&B, which is part of the attraction of staying at one. I delayed checking in to their requested two hour window, and there was a message for me taped to the door referring me to the mailbox, where there was an envelope with the "secret code" for the front door and a key to my room. There was someone in the kitchen prepping […] for breakfast when I came back later that night who was very nice, but I had to seek her out. My room was on the third floor, no one there to help me (or even offer to) lug my suitcase up the steps. Also, this B&B is NOT realistically within walking distance to Old Town. It's over a mile, and given that walking is mostly what you do once you get to Old Town, that's not an attractive option. You wouldn't want to walk it at night. Mehr
