Mystic Springs Chalets and Hot Pools - Canmore

We had picked the Mystic Springs Chalets and Hot Pools because of the hot pools. Unfortunately the pools were closed for furnace replacement, and they made no compensation or arrangements for us to use any other pools in the area, not even at their sister property!!! Rather disappointing! The units are all undergoing renovations so there were no curtains […] up on the lower level, though they did come and hang blankets at the window. The chalets were great for 4 or 5 ladies to a unit because of the bedding, 1 king, 2 doubles and a queen hide abed. Units would be no good for handicapped though as both bathrooms were upstairs. Great weekend, wonderful place to stay, our room was huge, felt like an apartment! So wonderful and relaxing

Went up to Canmore for the night to celebrate my 36th b-day with friends and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The patio doors opening up to the heated pool and hot tub definitely gave that relaxed vacation feel. The room was very nicely decorated and very clean. There were a couple of maintenance issues (holes in the klitchen ceiling […] where a light fixture had been moved and the heat register covers were bent and posed a bit of a hazard when walking in the bedrooms upstairs) but other than these few issues the place was perfect! The pool was warm and clean and the desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely recommend this place! We are all planning to return with our kids this time so they can enjoy the pool too! Mehr

the facilities were fabulous for anyone travelling with children. the gentleman at the checkin desk was so friendly and accommodating. invited the kids to stop by and take advantage of their games room, which has xbox kinect, flat screen tv, 2 pingpong tables, fuze ball table and a vareity of games. the pool is outside and heated and available year […] round. we will definitely be back. Good place for families, friendly with pets, due for some smaller repairs but clean and functional.

An awesome place to spend a weekend. The facilities are very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Close to hiking trails and just a wonderful relaxing time.

We had read reviews for the Mystic Springs Chalets and were not sure if we made the right choice to stay there or not but I'm glad we did. The location was easy to get to, the service was good, our place was clean & quiet with enough room for our family of five, and the kids had fun in the outdoor pool. We had a King bed and 2 doubles, plus the living […] room had a pull out sofa bed. Not an awful lot of space, but more than sufficient for us. Our chalet was in the middle and we did not hear any traffic noise at all, and outside common area noise was nonexistent after the 10 pm quiet time. It would have been nice to have the hot tub running, but knew from reading previous reviews that it wasn't, so we phoned directly to make sure that the pool was working and it was. The first night we stayed was a weeknight and we had the whole pool to ourselves! We stopped at Safeway in town about 5 mins away to get milk and groceries so we could cook our own meals. Everything was provided - regular pots and fry pans, roaster, utensils, dishes, mixing bowls, tea pot, kettle, toaster, microwave, even a bbq for our steaks. Though this was our first time staying in a chalet place such as this, we would definitely stay there again - well worth the price we paid. Little things like dead batteries in the tv remote and needing extra towels were handled promptly by the staff as soon as we asked. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. Mehr

The hotel room was very DIRTY!!!! The hot pools were not working. Front desk service was very unprofessional. We moved to another hotel. We were not the only ones who had complained about the cleanliness of the rooms, 3 other people were complaining at the same time we did. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

The location is good, close to all amenities. Accomodation was excellent & actually a lot better than we had expected. The staff were wonderful & in particular, Sally Ann, who went far beyond expectations in order to assist in solving a problem that had arisen. She was amazing!

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean accommodations and a large space. We wish we had planned to stay longer.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The suite seemed compressed, designed to sleep 8 total, the master bed was a queen size with uncomfortable pillows. Towels were a bit crusty, as were the robes. The room was quiet and the pools were lovely. All in all a decent spot to stay. They were unable to provide a late check out.

The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful with all our questions. The room was very large and confortable to relax in. They had everything we needed in that room.. Highly recommend this hotel to others and will definitely stay there again myself.

Our family of 4 just came back from a wonderful vacation in Canmore. Mystic Springs was perfect. The chalet/townhouse/condo was exactly what we wanted. The kitchen was equipped with everything (dishes, coffee maker, pots, utensils, wine and martini glasses, etc) and the living room had a fireplace and nicely appointed furniture. The master bedroom […] with the King bed was a little cramped and didn't have a lot of storage space for clothes. The en-suite was nice - had a big shower stall. The other bedroom had two double beds and was cramped as well. The main bathroom was clean and had a bath shower combo. Our kids loved the swimming pool - it was so warm (I believe 84F) that you could go swimming first thing in the morning or before bed in the evening - we loved the hot tub. The only complaint I have is that the pool towels weren't replaced often enough and many times we would have to call the office in order to get more brought down. This may seem picky but when you have been in a warm pool and want to leave it can be very chilly if you do not have a towel to dry off with. The complex was non-smoking, although staff could be seen smoking just outside the office doors - not sure what that was about. All-in-all we had a great family vacation and would definitely recommend Mystic Springs Chalets to anyone traveling to Canmore. Mehr

Nice Place in beautiful surroundings. Quiet and classy. Door key mechanism did not work correctly but was fixed ASAP when reported.

If you have a large group for this location, you do have enough sleeping room, but not enough silverware or glass ware for more than 3 people. Only 1 knife in kitchen. Need better stocked kitchen. Need change machine in laundry area and access to internet in lobby.

At first I was a little sceptical about staying in Canmore as it was outside of the Banff National Park, but have no fear it is wonderfully located and only a couple of minutes drive away. Mystic Springs is awesome – loads of space, great facilities and even the locals recognise that it is one of the best places to stay in the region. Absolutely, not […] negative comments whatsoever. I would highly recommend it. Travelling with young children we need the rooms to be dark and quiet - no problems at Mystic Springs, they had black out curtains and the rooms we quite large. We had a party of six staying in the room (4 adults & 2 children) and had plenty of space. Mehr
